Prolonged poststrike elevation in tongue-flicking rate with rapid onset in gila monster,Heloderma suspectum: Relation to diet and foraging and implications for evolution of chemosensory searching

Experimental tests showed that poststrike elevation in tongue-flicking rate (PETF) and strike-induced chemosensory searching (SICS) in the gila monster last longer than reported for any other lizard. Based on analysis of numbers of tongue-flicks emitted in 5-min intervals, significant PETF was detected in all intervals up to and including minutes 41–45. Using 10-min intervals, PETF lasted though minutes 46–55. Two of eight individuals continued tongue-flicking throughout the 60 min after biting prey, whereas all individuals ceased tongue-flicking in a control condition after minute 35. The apparent presence of PETF lasting at least an hour in some individuals suggests that there may be important individual differences in duration of PETF. PETF and/or SICS are present in all families of autarchoglossan lizards studied except Cordylidae, the only family lacking linguallly mediated prey chemical discrimination. However, its duration is known to be greater than 2-min only in Helodermatidae and Varanidae, the living representatives of Varanoidea. That prolonged PETF and SICS are typical of snakes provides another character supporting a possible a varanoid ancestry for Serpentes. Analysis of 1-min intervals showed that PETF occurred in the first minute. A review of the literature suggests that a pause in tongue-flicking and delay of searching movements are absent in lizards and the few nonvenomous colubrid snakes tested. The delayed onset of SICS may be a specific adaptation of some viperid snakes to allow potentially dangerous prey to be rendered harmless by venom following voluntary release after envenomation and preceding further physical contact with the prey.

数值地形图的生成及其水文地貌特征评价

数值地形图(DEM)是利用地理信息系统(GIS)进行流域水文模拟的基础, 其精度直接影响模拟结果在没有现成的数值地形图时, 应用人员往往利用传统的地形图来生成它. 本文分别采用Arc/Info地理信息系统软件提供的哈奇逊法和不规则三角网五次插值法, 对一个实验流域的高程取样点进行插值, 生成了4种不同的数值地形图, 从凹洼分布、流域界定、河网提取、地面坡度和地形指数、以及地面径流汇成等方面, 对它们的水文地貌精度进行了比较. 结果表明, 两种方法都能生成由高程点群所反映的地形, 然而由于哈奇逊法能够结合流域的河网结构及其具有物理基础的水文地貌加强法来处理凹洼问题, 因此大大地提高了其所生成的流域数值地形图水文地貌特征精度.     

影响GPS水准高程的因素及高程拟合方法的探讨

在简单介绍高程系统的基础上，对影响GPS高程精度的几何水准联测误差、卫星分布不对称、星历误差、多路径误差等因素逐一进行了分析，并提出了相应的改进措施。同时，还对高程拟合使用的稳健估计方法进行了探讨。     

Assessing pre- and post-deformation in the southern Arava Valley segment of the Dead Sea Transform, Israel by differential interferometry

Differential radar interferometry, using archived ERS data over the region of the Dead Sea Transform, allows to detect ground movement (subsidence or uplift) in playas within the southern Arava Valley segment of the Dead Sea Rift. These measurements are consistent with a mean displacement rate of about 0.4 cm/month, in the direction of the radar beam, during the 8-month period preceding the Nuweiba earthquake of 22 November 1995. In the 3 years following the earthquake, the measured rate was smaller by a factor of 10. These movements are not related to salt diapirs or water pumping activities in the area. The exact location, along faults, suggests a possible correlation with pre-seismic and post-seismic fault deformation.A simple fault model consistent with the observed phenomena associates the observed subsidence/uplift to right and left stepping en-echelon fault patterns related to inter-seismic tensional accumulation along the faults. Further observations are necessary on this site and similar fault areas to corroborate the correlation between seismic activity and the observed phenomena. Monitoring of these sites should continue with differential Global positioning system (GPS) measurements and radar interferometric analysis using Envisat and Radarsat as well as archived data (including J-ERS).

渠首水位实时调控模型——以船行灌区一支渠为例

很多大中型灌区在输配水过程中存在水位衔接不当的问题,加之田面高程存在起伏,使得灌溉时往往存在部分田面不能上水或受淹等问题。本文提出了空间灌溉率的概念,并利用GIS的三维分析功能研究了其与渠道渠首水位之间的关系。分析表明,空间灌溉率与渠首水位之间的关系符合Logistic曲线;针对船行灌区一支渠,得到该Logistic曲线的参数,并确定了一支渠渠首和干渠渠首不同空间灌溉率所需的水位,为灌区水位实时调控提供基础数据。     

Theoretical analysis of a multiple-effect diffusion still producing highly concentrated seawater

A multiple-effect diffusion still producing highly concentrated seawater was theoretically analyzed taking variations of the boiling point elevation (BPE) into account. The still consists of a series of seawater-soaked wicks stuck on closely-spaced parallel plates with the first plate steam-heated at 100°C and the last plate cooled in 30°C ambient air. Evaporation from the wicks increases the BPE more rapidly at downstream distances closer to exits of evaporating areas, and this increase reduces evaporation flux significantly at downstream regions on the wicks. An 80% heat recovery from products of hot condensate and concentrate reduces the steam consumption by 46%. The steam consumption decreases more rapidly with an increasing number of wicks than does the production rate; thus, a lower steam consumption ratio is observed for the still having more wicks. Narrowing the gaps between the plates greatly increases the production rate with a slight decrease in the steam consumption ratio. The still with 19 wicks with 1 m by 2 m evaporating areas, 5 mm gaps and 80% heat recovery produces 12 kg distillate and 3.3 kg concentrate of 0.16 kg/kg-water concentration per 1 kg steam consumption with a 26.4 kg/h distillate production rate.     

Bezier曲线到AH-Bezier曲线的升阶算法

关于曲线升阶,已有的结论往往限于同类曲线之间。为了突破这一限制,考虑不同类曲线间的升阶,关注代数多项式空间中的Bezier曲线到代数双曲多项式空间中的AH-Bezier曲线的升阶。研究从基函数入手,利用Bezier和AH-Bezier共有的求导降阶的特点,结合矩阵分块的思想,先给出AH-Bezier基到Bernstein基的转换矩阵,进而推出控制顶点的升阶公式,最后给出升阶算法。结果表明,任意n次Bezier曲线可以通过该算法升到n＋3阶（等同于n＋2次）的AH-Bezier曲线。算法实现了Bezier到AH-B＆#233;zier曲线模型的精确转换。

本文对目前针对Linux平台下的BackTrack5进行阐述,内容涵盖敏感信息收集,漏洞信息收集,漏洞工具测试,账户特权升级等,笔者对在虚拟机环境下运行,下载BackTrack5,加载运行BackTrack5后需要进行网络配置加以说明,同时针对各种工具的常用命令及基本应用,实践后对其优缺点加以说明。
