A continuum-based modeling of coupled electrostatics-structure interactions is presented for the frequency computations of MEMS devices. The present general formulation of electrostatics accounting for free space is validated first by specializing it to one-dimensional uniform motion of conducting surfaces and comparing the resulting electrostatics to conventional lumped models. The general coupled electrostatics-structure interactions are then applied for the prediction of resonant frequencies of MEMS devices due to bias-voltage changes and temperature variations. Comparisons of predicted resonant frequencies obtained by the present coupled electrostatics-structure interaction models with experimental results available in the literature demonstrate that the proposed continuum-based interaction modeling yields high-confidence predictions of resonant frequencies of MEMS devices. 相似文献

The use of the conventional semi-analytical stiffness method in finite element analysis, in which interpolation polynomials are used to develop the stiffness relationships, leads to problems of curvature locking when beam-type elements are developed for composite members with partial interaction between the materials of which it is comprised. The curvature locking phenomenon that occurs for composite steel–concrete members is quite well reported, and the general approach to minimizing the undesirable ramifications of curvature locking has been to use higher-order polynomials with increasing numbers of internal nodes. This paper presents an alternate formulation based on a direct stiffness approach rather than starting from pre-defined interpolation polynomials, and which does not possess the undesirable locking characteristics. The formulation is based on a more general approach for a bi-material composite flexural member, whose constituent materials are joined by elastic shear connection so as to provide partial interaction. The stiffness relationships are derived, and these are applied to a simply supported and a continuous steel–concrete composite beam to demonstrate the efficacy of the method, and in particular its ability to model accurately both very flexible and very stiff shear connection that causes difficulties when implemented in competitive semi-analytical algorithms. 本文在Takabatake关于恒载对梁静、动力影响的研究工作的基础上,导出了梁考虑恒载效应的动力分析有限元公式,提出了荷载影响刚度矩阵的概念。分析了分布和集中两种恒载型式对简支梁和悬臂梁自振特性的影响。计算结果表明,用本文方法与Takabatake应用Galerkin方法和近似闭合解方法的结果吻合良好。同时由于本文采用了矩阵形式,不仅便于编制计算机程序,且使方法有更广泛的适用性和灵活性,可更方便地用于各种不同的构造和边界条件下的实际结构。 相似文献

In this paper an extension of the method of the Fourier series expansion to the fire analysis of composite beams is presented. In particular the extension concerns the introduction of the temperature dependent interaction of all the components: steel beams, concrete slab and steel connectors. These last are considered of finite stiffness, and a proper account is given to the combined effect of thermal degradation of the properties, and stress amplification caused by the differential thermal expansion across the interface.The proposed method compares very well with some experimental fire tests of simply supported and framed composite beams. Due to its relative simplicity and speed, it can be used for design purposes in evaluating the critical temperature in terms of critical deflection. Finally we recall that the method is capable of dealing with every type of fastening distribution, such as discontinuous or variable length. 相似文献

本文应用d'Alembert-Lagrange原理,对由基座、(n-1)个柔性连杆及端部负载组成,相互用柱铰连接的柔性链式多体系统进行建模;对在空间技术中,具有一刚杆,两柔杆加上刚性负载所组成的三维机械臂系统,采用Gear算法进行数值仿真。仿真结果比较符合实际,从而在柔性多体系统的数学模型为刚性常微分方程的情况下,为解决其数值仿真问题,特别是三维问题的数值仿真取得了进展。 相似文献
