Systematic convergence of nonlinear stochastic estimators on the Special Orthogonal Group SO(3)

This paper introduces two novel nonlinear stochastic attitude estimators developed on the Special Orthogonal Group with the tracking error of the normalized Euclidean distance meeting predefined transient and steady‐state characteristics. The tracking error is confined to initially start within a predetermined large set such that the transient performance is guaranteed to obey dynamically reducing boundaries and decrease smoothly and asymptotically to the origin in probability from almost any initial condition. The proposed estimators produce accurate attitude estimates with remarkable convergence properties using measurements obtained from low‐cost inertial measurement units. The estimators proposed in continuous form are complemented by their discrete versions for the implementation purposes. The simulation results illustrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed estimators against uncertain measurements and large initialization error, whether in continuous or discrete form.     

Handover and Uplink Power Control Performance in the 3.84 Mcps TDD mode of UTRA Network

In this article we consider the performance of the 3.84 Mcpstime-division duplex (TDD) mode of UTRA (Universal TerrestrialRadio Access) network. We emphasize two of the radio resourcemanagement algorithms, handover and uplink power control, whoserole in the overall system performance is studied extensively.First, a handover algorithm used in WCDMA (Wideband Code DivisionMultiple Access) standard is considered in a TDD-mode operation.This gives rise to a careful setting of different handoverparameters, and the evaluation of the effects to the systemperformance. Secondly, the specified uplink power controlalgorithm is considered. Since it is based on several user-mademeasurements which may involve both random and systematic errors acareful study about the suitability of the power control scheme iscarried out.

地理空间信息网格调度技术，要比传统的高性能计算中的调度技术复杂，原因是如果将全部网格资源作为一个应用程序的调度和执行目标，必将导致通信延迟、成本昂贵、执行低效等。为此，综合考虑应用程序特性、机器特性等，研究设计了地理空间信息网格高性能调度技术中的应用程序调度模型，包括地理空间信息网格应用程序分析；资源特性分析；应用程序分解；性能预测；资源调度；机器选择；任务映射；任务调度；任务调度器和调度器管理模块。以实现为不同的应用程序匹配不同的计算资源，提高计算资源的利用率和应用程序的执行效率。     

Reciprocal Relationships Between Collective Efficacy and Team Performance in Women's Ice Hockey.

This study examined reciprocal relationships between collective efficacy and team performance over a season of competition in women's intercollegiate ice hockey within weekends where the opponent was constant for 2 games. Collective efficacy beliefs within 12 teams were assessed prior to both games for at least 7 weekends. Team performance indexes produced an overall measure of performance for each game. The average influence of Saturday collective efficacy on Saturday performance was moderate and positive after controlling for Friday performance. The average influence of Friday performance on Saturday collective efficacy was small and positive after removing the influence of Friday collective efficacy from Friday performance. 高抗挤厚壁套管的性能及应用效果评价

中原油田套管损坏的主要原因是现有套管强度不够,无法抵抗盐膏层段的巨大外挤力。开发了TP130TT型高抗挤厚壁套管,其强度能很好地抵抗盐膏层巨大外挤力。实验室试验表明,各项性能指标达到了设计要求,现场使用取得了很好的效果,解决了中原油田盐膏层段套管强度不足的难题。     

Evaluation of performance enhancing proxies in internet over satellite

Performance enhancing proxies (PEPs) are widely used to improve the performance of TCP over high delay‐bandwidth product links and links with high error probability. In this paper we analyse the performance of using TCP connection splitting in combination with web caching via traces obtained from a commercial satellite system. We examine the resulting performance gain under different scenarios, including the effect of caching, congestion, random loss and file sizes. We show, via analysing our measurements, that the performance gain from using splitting is highly sensitive to random losses and the number of simultaneous connections, and that such sensitivity is alleviated by caching. On the other hand, the use of a splitting proxy enhances the value of web caching in that cache hits result in much more significant performance improvement over cache misses when TCP splitting is used. 孤岛油田西区聚合物驱开发研究

孤岛油田西区注聚区1997年3月投入注聚后，高渗层得到有效封堵，吸水剖面得到明显改善。注聚期间，通过实施注聚区外围水井降水或停注、油井放大生产压差和调整注聚井注入速度等开发措施，扩大了聚合物波及体积，聚合物驱取得了明显效果。
