Daily impact of climate on the pattern of urban family life : Indigenous courtyard houses of Baghdad regions of the hot-dry climates Part I: Daily shifts or daily movements in summer

During the day, there are considerable variations in the climatic factors prevailing in these regions. This is especially so during the 24-hour daily cycle of the long, hot and dry summer (mid-May to midOctober). Such climatic conditions have had a considerable impact on the daily living pattern of family life in the same season, particularly in the urban areas. During the same 24-hour cycle, they have compelled the inhabitants to shift their living activities both vertically in section and horizontally in plan; they do this in pursuit of more acceptable, if not, desirable internal thermal environmental ambience.     

Ratings of Therapist Dynamic Activities and Alliance Early and Late in Psychotherapy.

The present study examines the concurrent and predictive relationships between therapist psychodynamic-interpersonal activity and therapist-rated alliance. Ratings from 45 patient and therapist dyads engaged in short term psychodynamic psychotherapy from a point early (3rd or 4th session) and late (the session at which 90% of the treatment was completed) in treatment were used. The results suggest that therapists who have positive views of the alliance early in treatment also have positive views of the alliance later in treatment. Therapists who used psychodynamic-interpersonal activities early in treatment also made use of psychodynamic-interpersonal activities later in treatment. Moreover, the use of psychodynamic-interpersonal activities early in treatment was positively related to both global and specific aspects of therapist-rated alliance late in treatment. 四种国民常用饮水中非挥发性有机物及其致突变活性的比较研究

比较我国居民常用饮水种类自来水、净化水(自来水经净水器过滤)、凉开水(自来水经煮沸后冷却)、纯净水(自来水经以反渗透为主的多重工艺处理)的非挥发性有机物(NOP)污染状况及其致突变活性。结果表明,四种水中检测到的NOP种类分别为自来水39种,净化水40种,凉开水20种,纯净水8种;毛细色谱显示的NOP总丰面积值依次为5.62×109,5.57×109,2.65×109,1.87×109。四种水的移码型及碱基置换型致突变活性依次为:自来水>净化水>凉开水>纯净水,其中自来水在相当1L、2L、4L水量的剂量均为阳性致突变活性,而纯净水在同样的剂量均为阴性。

Design,Synthesis, and Biological Evaluation of Novel 6H-Benzo[c]chromen-6-one Derivatives as Potential Phosphodiesterase II Inhibitors

Urolithins (hydroxylated 6H-benzo[c]chromen-6-ones) are the main bioavailable metabolites of ellagic acid (EA), which was shown to be a cognitive enhancer in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. As part of this research, a series of alkoxylated 6H-benzo[c]chromen-6-one derivatives were designed and synthesized. Furthermore, their biological activities were evaluated as potential PDE2 inhibitors, and the alkoxylated 6H-benzo[c]chromen-6-one derivative 1f was found to have the optimal inhibitory potential (IC₅₀: 3.67 ± 0.47 μM). It also exhibited comparable activity in comparison to that of BAY 60-7550 in vitro cell level studies.     

Facile Deposition of Silver Nanoparticles on Photonic Cellulose Nanocrystals Films: A Study on Solvent Stability and Post Antibacterial Activity

Cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs) incorporated with silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) photonic films have drawn considerable attention due to their plasmonic chiroptical activity. However, the exploitation of some fundamental properties for practical use such as the affinity analysis of metal nanoparticles attached to the surface of photonic films according to the solvent compatibility and antibacterial activity under physical conditions has yet not been studied. Hence, a facile process of in situ deposition of AgNPs into the chiral structure of CNC films is proposed. CNC photonic films, cross-linked by glutaraldehyde are prepared. This interaction generated the solvents-stable photonic film with a considerable amount of unreacted aldehyde functional groups that facilitates the reduction of Ag salt to AgNPs. The formed AgNPs in the photonic films show excellent stability over immersion in various polar and non-polar solvents. The post-solvent treated photonic films display excellent contact-based antibacterial behavior against gram-negative Escherichia coli.     

远红外丙纶的性能研究

系统测试了采用共混纺丝法研制出的远红外丙纶及织物的物理机械性能、远红外发射性能、保温性能、耐洗涤性能和抗菌性能，并对用远红外丙纶加工的护腿的医疗保健作用进行了临床检测。进而讨论了远红外丙纶及织物的医疗保健作用机理。     

纳米TiO_2改性苯丙乳液内墙涂料的研究

采用物理掺和法,在苯丙乳液中加入锐钛型纳米TiO2,制成内墙涂料,进行抑菌试验和甲醛降解实验研究,分析了纳米TiO2的光催化原理和抗菌机理。结果表明,随着TiO2含量增加,甲醛降解能力和抗菌性能增强,当TiO2含量为4%时效果最好。     

抗菌灭病毒涂料的研制及表征

在评价多种杀菌剂的抗病毒性能的基础上,筛选出杀菌和抗病毒性能均优异的功能助剂三氯苯基马来酰亚胺,用以研制成一种杀菌灭病毒功能内墙涂料。
