目的:探讨高分辨率CT(HRCT)对颞部疾病的检查价值。方法:对43例颞部疾病患者行常规CT和高分辨率CT(HRCT)检查所获图像对比分析,并讨论HRCT的检查技术和图像后处理。结果:HRCT对病变的显示率及病变引起骨质破坏的程度,病变边缘,轮廓的显示均明显优于常规CT,尤其能清楚显示常规CT难以显示的中耳及内耳的细微结构,结论:高分辨率CT是颞部疾病的首选检查方法,使用高分辨率CT对颞部疾病的检查给临床提供更多,更准确的诊断信息。  相似文献

Intratemporal vascular tumors: detection with CT and MR imaging   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The diagnostic contributions of computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance (MR) imaging were compared in 12 patients with benign intratemporal vascular tumors (hemangioma or vascular malformation). The tumors included six in the internal acoustic canal and six in the geniculate ganglion region. Clinical and histologic correlations were made. Two of the six patients with tumors in the internal acoustic canal underwent CT, and both required gas cisternography to show the tumor. Five patients in that group underwent MR imaging, and all five studies showed the tumor. All six patients with geniculate ganglion tumors underwent CT. Results in one study were questionable, and five showed the tumor. Five patients in this group underwent MR imaging, but the MR findings were positive in only two cases. MR imaging should therefore be performed before CT in the evaluation of facial nerve dysfunction, as it demonstrated all tumors in the internal acoustic canal and some in the geniculate ganglion region. If MR findings are negative, CT should then be performed to rule out a possible geniculate ganglion lesion.  相似文献

目的:评价螺旋CT在诊断肺动脉栓塞中的作用。方法:16例肺动脉栓塞患者行螺旋CT肺动脉造影 (SCTA)检查,层厚3mm,扫描时间0.8s,对比剂注射速度3.5ml/s,总量100ml,扫描延迟时间15s。结果:16例 共644支,其中134支肺动脉及分支显示了栓塞,占20.8%。228支肺段肺动脉中,有56支显示肺动脉栓塞,占分 析肺动脉支的24.5%。204支亚段肺动脉中37支显示肺动脉栓塞,占分析肺动脉支15.4%。肺动脉栓塞的CT形 态:①直接征象为不同程度的肺动脉分支内充盈缺损。中心型充盈缺损17支,偏心型充盈缺损44支,附壁血栓型 34支,完全阻塞型39支。②间接征象胸膜下肺梗死灶,内乳动脉一侧增粗,肺纹理稀少,胸水,肺动脉高压。结论: 螺旋CT肺动脉造影是诊断肺动脉栓塞的快速、有效、无创伤的诊断方法。  相似文献

Beginning in the late 1980s, after a long period of declining interest in home care for the terminally ill, several projects and experiments were initiated in the Netherlands. This article describes this trend and provides background information on the Dutch health services, a definition of terminal home care, and statistical information about the different types of home care in the Netherlands. Findings from 3 recent studies of these projects and experiments are presented along with the guidelines for providing good terminal home care formulated by the Dutch Health Council in 1991.  相似文献

目的探讨骨巨细胞瘤的MRI表现特点及其病理基础。资料与方法搜集经手术病理证实的12例骨巨细胞瘤患者资料,分析其MRI征象并与病理结果对照。结果T1WI上肿瘤实体表现为低、等信号,T2WI上为不均匀高信号,Gd-DTPA增强扫描呈中度到明显强化。此外,MRI还可显示肿瘤内坏死、出血、含铁血黄素沉着等。结论MRI能够提供比较全面的影像学信息,可提高对骨巨细胞瘤诊断的准确性。  相似文献

We studied the association between deprivation and survival from breast cancer in 29,676 women aged 30 and over who were diagnosed during the period 1980-89 in the area covered by the South Thames Regional Health Authority. The measure of deprivation was the Carstairs Index of the census enumeration district of each woman''s residence at diagnosis. We studied the impact of stage at diagnosis, morphology and type of treatment on this association, with the relative survival rate and the hazard ratio as measures of outcome. There was a clear gradient in survival, with better survival for women from more affluent areas. At all ages, women in the most deprived category had a 35% greater hazard of death than women from the most affluent areas after adjustment for stage at diagnosis, morphological type and type of treatment. In younger women (30-64 years), the survival gradient by deprivation category cannot be explained by these prognostic factors. In older women (65-99 years), part of the unadjusted gradient in survival can be explained by differences in the stage of disease: older women in the most deprived category were more often diagnosed with advanced disease. Other factors, so far unidentified, are responsible for the gradient in breast cancer survival by deprivation category. The potential effect on breast cancer mortality of eliminating the gradient in survival by deprivation category is substantial (7.4%). In women aged 30-64 years, 10% of all deaths within 5 years might be avoidable, while in older women this figure is 5.8%.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Nephropathy is the most severe complication of diabetes mellitus. We investigated the effect of exogenous growth hormone (GH) administration on renal function and matrix deposition in the streptozotocin (STZ) model of type I-diabetic rat. METHODS: Adult female STZ-diabetic rats (D), non-diabetic control rats injected with saline (C) and control and diabetic rats injected with bovine GH for 3 months (CGH and DGH, respectively) were used. RESULTS: The usual renal hypertrophy seen in D animals was more pronounced in the DGH group. Creatinine clearance increased only in the D rats, but not in the other groups, including DGH. Albuminuria was observed in the D animals but was significantly elevated in the DGH group. Glomeruli from DGH animals showed more extensive matrix accumulation (manifested as an increase in mesangial/glomerular area ratio). Renal extractable insulin-like growth factor (IGF-I) mRNA was decreased in the D and DGH groups, but renal IGF-I protein was not significantly increased. Renal IGF binding protein-1 was increased in the D groups and further increased in the DGH group, at both the mRNA and protein levels. CONCLUSIONS: GH-treated diabetic rats had less hyperfiltration and more albuminuria, concomitant with more glomerular matrix deposition, when compared with regular diabetic animals. This was associated with a significant increase in renal IGFBP-1, and dissociated from IGF-I changes. Thus, in this model, GH exacerbates the course of diabetic kidney disease.  相似文献

While an unstable CTG triplet repeat expansion is responsible for myotonic dystrophy, the mechanism whereby this genetic defect induces the disease remains unknown. To detect proteins binding to CTG triplet repeats, we performed bandshift analysis using as probes double- stranded DNA fragments having CTG repeats [ds(CTG)6-10] and single- stranded oligonucleotides having CTG repeats ss(CTG)8 or RNA CUG triplet repeats (CUG)8. The source of protein was nuclear and cytoplasmic extracts of HeLa cells, fibroblasts and myotubes. Proteins binding to the double-stranded DNA repeat [ds(CTG)6-10], were inhibited by nonlabeled ds(CTG)6-10, but not by a non-specific DNA fragment (USF/AD-ML). Another protein binding to ssCTG probe and RNA CUG probe was inhibited by nonlabeled (CTG)8 and (CUG)8. Nonlabeled oligos with different triplet repeat sequences, ss(CAG)8 or ss(CGG)8, did not inhibit binding to the ss(CTG)8 probe. However, when labeled as probes, the (CAG)8 and (CGG)8 bound to proteins distinct from the CTG proteins and binding was inhibited by nonlabeled (CAG)8 or (CGG)8 respectively. The protein binding only to the RNA repeat (CUG)8 was inhibited by nonlabeled (CUG)8 but not by nonlabeled single- or double-stranded CTG repeats. Furthermore, the CUG-BP exhibited no binding to an RNA oligonucleotide of triplet repeats of the same length but having a different sequence, CGG. The CUG binding protein was localized to the cytoplasm, whereas dsDNA binding proteins were localized to the nuclear extract. Thus, several trinucleotide binding proteins exist and their specificity is determined by the triplet sequence. The novel protein, CUG-BP, is particularly interesting since it binds to triplet repeats known to be present in myotonin protein kinase mRNA which is responsible for myotonic dystrophy.   相似文献

Although regulatory compliance in academic research is enforced by law to ensure high quality and safety to participants, its implementation is frequently hindered by cost and logistical barriers.
