Word prediction methodologies depend heavily on the statistical approach that uses the unigram, bigram, and the trigram of words. However, the construction of the N-gram model requires a very large size of memory, which is beyond the capability of many existing computers. Beside this, the approximation reduces the accuracy of word prediction. In this paper, we suggest to use a cluster of computers to build an Optimal Binary Search Tree (OBST) that will be used for the statistical approach in word prediction. The OBST will contain extra links so that the bigram and the trigram of the language will be presented. In addition, we suggest the incorporation of other enhancements to achieve optimal performance of word prediction. To enhance the binding and quality of enrobed buffalo meat cutlets (EBMC), a meat emulsion at 0%, 15%, 20% and 25% replaced the cooked meat in the formulation. Emulsion containing products had significantly higher moisture contents and texture scores compared to the control. Emulsion at 20% level could be incorporated in enrobed buffalo meat cutlets to enhance their quality. Addition of 1% egg white powder improved the quality of EBMC compared to control, while a 3% level had adverse effect on the sensory attributes despite giving higher product yield and lower shrinkage. Cutlets with refined wheat flour had significantly higher protein and fat contents. It had also higher acceptability followed by corn flour, potato starch and tapioca flour. TBARS of enrobed samples remained lower than controls throughout the storage period. Mesophilic count remained below log3cfu/g for both samples during storage. Uncoated products and enrobed products were acceptable up to 10th and 15th day, respectively. Enrobing of buffalo meat cutlets improved their acceptability and shelf life under refrigeration storage. 相似文献

Here we present a new method for providing nanostructured drug-loaded polymer films which enable control of film surface morphology and delivery of therapeutic agents. Silicon wafers were employed as models for implanted biomaterials and poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) nanoparticles were assembled onto the silicon surface by electrostatic interaction. Monolayers of the PLGA particles were deposited onto the silicon surface upon incubation in an aqueous particle suspension. Particle density and surface coverage of the silicon wafers were varied by altering particle concentration, incubation time in nanoparticle suspension and ionic strength of the suspension. Dye loaded nanoparticles were prepared and assembled to silicon surface to form nanoparticle films. Fluorescence intensity measurements showed diffusion-controlled release of the dye over two weeks and atomic force microscopy (AFM) analysis revealed that these particles remained attached to the surface during the incubation time. This work suggests that coating implants with PLGA nanoparticles is a versatile technique which allows drug release from the implant surface and modulation of surface morphology. 相似文献

This paper suggests a novel compression scheme for small text files. The proposed scheme depends on Boolean minimization of binary data accompanied with the adoption of Burrows-Wheeler transformation (BWT) algorithm. Compression of small text files must fulfil special requirements since they have small context. The use of Boolean minimization and Burrows-Wheeler transformation generate better context information for compression with standard algorithms. We tested the suggested scheme on collections of small and medium-sized files. The testing results showed that proposed scheme improve the compression ratio over other existing methods. 相似文献

The storage and retrieval of multimedia has become a requirement for many information systems. This paper presents a comprehensive survey of image search engines, with many clarifying comments. First, we looked at image search engine architecture, followed by the role of the crawler in detecting images. We reviewed the common World Wide Web based systems for image retrieval developed in research institutions and in commercial business.
