Al-SBA-15 of varying Si/Al ratios in the range 11.4–78.4 was synthesized using tri-block copolymer P123. The calcined materials were examined by XRD, pore size distribution, surface area, 27Al NMR spectroscopy. The acidity and acid strength distribution were studied using microcalorimetric adsorption of NH3. The acidic properties were also examined by cumene cracking reaction as a function of Si/Al ratios. Systematic variation of acidity and activity was observed as a function of Si/Al ratio. The initial heats of NH3 adsorption correlated well with activity indicate that acid sites with ΔH > 100 kJ/mole is responsible for cumene cracking activity. Linear correlations were obtained with total acidity and cumene cracking activities. The tetrahedral aluminum was found to be responsible for the observed acidities and catalytic activities.  相似文献

A new series of liquid crystalline polymers containing aromatic triad ester mesogen and 1,1′‐disubstituted ferrocene as a nonmesogenic unit along with polymethylene spacer was synthesized. The polymer was synthesized by a room temperature polycondensation reaction between bis(4‐chloroformyl phenyloxy alkyl ferrocene dicarboxylate) and quinol. The alkyl groups have been varied by an even number of methylene groups with a range from two to ten groups. All the polymers were found to possess liquid crystalline properties. The identification of the mesophase is more transparent with an increase in the spacer. The thermal characteristics were studied using thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The results reveal that the thermal stability of the polymers was decreased with increasing spacer length. The Tg, Tm, and Ti of the polymers decreased with increasing methylene groups. The incorporation of the ferrocene moiety also has a considerable effect on the glass transition temperature. This paper presents a novel transceiver architecture for in-band full duplex radio. A transceiver for full duplex radio requires a self-interference (SI) canceler to remove the SI occurring from the transmitter to the receiver, and a full duplex transceiver generally has two SI cancelers: one at the analog RF stage and the other at the baseband stage. The output from the SI canceler at the RF stage includes much residual SI, and it decreases the number of bits allocated to the analog baseband signal at the analog-to-digital converter. A 1-tap analog baseband SI canceler that uses a replica signal including only the direct path component of the residual SI has been presented for preventing degradation. However, the architecture cannot remove the SI well due to the high Ricial K-factor. To address the problem, the presented architecture has an SI canceler at the analog baseband stage, and this canceler employs a replica signal that is output from a digital-to-analog converter. Because the replica signal is generated in the digital domain, the architecture can generate a multipath replica signal, and improved performance can be expected. Numerical and theoretical analyses are shown to validate the effectiveness of the presented architecture.

Dye-sensitized solar cells with natural dyes extracted from rose petals   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Nanocrystalline TiO2 dye-sensitized solar cells have been fabricated using TiO2 photoelectrode sensitized using the extracts of red rose and table rose as natural sensitizers and their characteristics have been studied. The extracts having anthocyanin pigment (pelargonidin, peonidin and cyanidin), which have hydroxyl and carboxylic groups in the molecule can attach effectively to the surface of TiO2 film. The solar cell constructed using the red rose sensitized TiO2 photo-electrode exhibited a short-circuit photocurrent of 4.57 mA/cm2 and a power conversion efficiency of 0.81 % and that of table rose sensitized TiO2 photo-electrode exhibited a short-circuit photocurrent of 4.23 mA/cm2 and a power conversion efficiency of 0.67 %. Natural dye sensitized TiO2 photo electrodes present the prospect to be used as an environment-friendly, low-cost alternative system.  相似文献

These days’ speech processing devices like voice-controlled devices, radio, and cell phones have gained more popularity in the area of military, audio forensics, speech recognition, education and health sectors. In the real world, speech signal during communication always contains background noise. The main task of speech related applications is voice activity detection (VAD) which include speech communication, speech recognition, and speech coding. Noise-reduction schemes for speech communication may increase the quality of speech and improve working efficiency in military aviation. Most of the developed algorithms can improve the quality of speech but unable to remove the background noise from the speech. This study provides researchers with a summary of the challenges in speech communication with background noise and provides research directions in the area of military personnel and workforces who work in noisy environments. Results of the study reveal that the DSP-based voice activity detection and background noise reduction algorithm reduced the spurious values of the speech signal.  相似文献

Chryseobacterium meningosepticum is an uncommon human pathogen, which is an inhabitant of soil and water. It should be included in the list of suspected nosocomial infections, especially in patients with immunocompromised status. C. meningosepticum infections are not common but are clinically important because the organism is naturally resistant to multiple antibiotics. We report a case where the bacterium was isolated from the pleural fluid from a chronic kidney disease patient on hemodialysis, who developed pneumonia with complicated parapneumonic effusion. To the best of our knowedge, this is the first case where C. meningosepticum is isolated from the pleural effusion, from India.  相似文献

A library of 3,4‐(methylenedioxy)aniline‐derived semicarbazones was designed, synthesized, and evaluated as monoamine oxidase (MAO) and acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitors for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. Most of the new compounds selectively inhibited MAO‐B and AChE, with IC50 values in the micro‐ or nanomolar ranges. Compound 16 , 1‐(2,6‐dichlorobenzylidene)‐4‐(benzo[1,3]dioxol‐5‐yl)semicarbazide presented a balanced multifunctional profile of MAO‐A (IC50=4.52±0.032 μm ), MAO‐B (IC50=0.059±0.002 μm ), and AChE (IC50=0.0087±0.0002 μm ) inhibition without neurotoxicity. Kinetic studies revealed that compound 16 exhibits competitive and reversible inhibition against MAO‐A and MAO‐B, and mixed‐type inhibition against AChE. Molecular docking studies further revealed insight into the possible interactions within the enzyme–inhibitor complexes. The most active compounds were found to interact with the enzymes through hydrogen bonding and hydrophobic interactions. Additionally, in silico molecular properties and ADME properties of the synthesized compounds were calculated to explore their drug‐like characteristics.  相似文献
