研究了脉冲激发下单个半导体量子点中单光子发射的统计特性.在旋转波近似条件下,由系统粒子数演化主方程并结合量子回归理论推导了二阶相关函数的运动方程,利用此方程讨论了二阶相关函数随输入脉冲面积的关系.在窄脉冲宽度的脉冲激发下,单光子的发射概率p和效率η都随着强度的增强而产生振荡.研究表明,采用窄脉冲宽度,当输入脉冲面积在π附近时可以得到较高的单光子发射效率.

We investigate theoretically the population dynamics and the second-order correlation functions of photon emissions from the biexciton-exciton system of a single quantum dot with excitation from pulses to continuous wave. The dynamic equations of the correlation functions are deduced by applying quantum regression theorem to optical Bloch equations. The photon transport properties in one-dimensional coupled-resonator waveguide embedded with a quantum dot molecule are investigated. The calculations reveal that one can control the photon transport by using a gate electric field. The phase shift and group velocity delay of the transmitted single photon are discussed. 研究了脉冲激光激发下半导体量子点激子Rabi振荡中多能级过程引起的退相干特性.运用多能级粒子数运动方程组,分别计算和分析了三种多能级过程(双激子、浸润层泄漏以及俄歇俘获过程)对量子点中Rabi振荡衰减的影响.分析表明,双激子的影响在激发脉冲的脉宽较长时(>5ps)可以忽略;浸润层的泄漏虽然使得激子基态上粒子数振荡的振幅随着激发场的增强而减小,但是同时也导致了振荡平均值的减小;分析和讨论了两种俄歇俘获方式对激子振荡和复合发光的影响.

Voltage-controlled quantum dynamics of two quantum-dot molecules (QDMs) embedded in two separated photonic crystal cavities are theoretically investigated. We show numerically that generation of entangled states and population transfer between the two QDMs can be realized with the same coupling parameters. We theoretically design a single-mode plasmonic ring nanocavity. Based on the plasmonic cavity, the exciton dynamics between two identical quantum dots (QD-p, QD-q) coupled to the nanocavity are investigated. It is shown that the coupling factors gi (i = p, q) between QD-i and surface plasmons are both equal to 12.53meV in our model and exeiton population swap between the two QDs can be realized. The periods and amplitudes of population oscillations can be modified by the coupling factors. 利用全量子力学的方法从理论上研究了利用经典光场相干控制半导体量子点-金属纳米线复合体系中表面等离子体传输特性. 计算中假设金属纳米线表面等离子体具有线性色散关系,半导体量子点具有梯形三能级结构. 分析表明:通过加或不加经典光场,可以控制表面等离子体被反射还是透射;加上光场后,反射峰、透射峰的位置以及两反射峰之间的距离都可以由经典光场控制.

We investigate the effect of decoherence from a spin environment on the quantum channel capacity.Our results imply that the time evolution of the quantum channel capacity depends on the number of freedom degrees of the environment,the tunneling element,the initial state of the environment,and the system-environment coupling strength.From the analysis,we find that the strong tunneling elements and the weak coupling strength can enhance the quantum channel capacity while the environment with a large number of freedom degrees and the strong coupling strength will shrink it. 相似文献
