Trichosporon beigelii SBUG 752 was able to transform diphenyl ether. By TLC, HPLC, GC, GC-MS, NMR- and UV-spectroscopy, several oxidation products were identified. The primary attack was initiated by a monooxygenation step, resulting in the formation of 4-hydroxydiphenyl ether, 2-hydroxydiphenyl ether and 3-hydroxydiphenyl ether (48:47:5). Further oxidation led to 3,4-dihydroxydiphenyl ether. As a characteristic product resulting from the cleavage of an aromatic ring, the lactone of 2-hydroxy-4-phenoxymuconic acid was identified. The possible mechanism of ring cleavage to yield this metabolite is discussed.  相似文献

2-Chloro-4-methylphenoxyacetate is not a growth substrate for Alcaligenes eutrophus JMP 134 and JMP 1341. It is, however, being transformed by enzymes of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid metabolism to 2-chloro-4-methyl-cis, cis-muconate, which is converted by enzymatic 1,4-cycloisomerization to 4-carboxymethyl-2-chloro-4-methylmuconolactone as a dead end metabolite. Chemically, only 3,6-cycloisomerization occurs, giving rise to both diastereomers of 4-carboxychloromethyl-3-methylbut-2-en-4-olide. Those lactones harbonring a chlorosubstituent on the 4-carboxymethyl side chain were surprisingly stable under physiological as well as acidic conditions.  相似文献

Sunflower is one of the most important oilseed crops, which is grown in many countries. Increasing demand to use sunflower oil has expanded the under cultivation area throughout the world. Sunflower viruses have been reported as one of the pathogens that reduce the quantity and the quality of this product in a number of countries. In our research to study the occurrence and distribution of viruses in sunflower fields of Iran, 562 samples were collected from different fields in Kerman and Isfahan provinces during growing seasons from 2009 to 2011. Potato virus Y (PVY), Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV) and Tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV) were detected by double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Also, numbers of samples were positive for infection to potyviruses (except PVY) in antigen-coated-plate enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay test using potyviruses general antiserum. Infected plants had symptoms like mosaic, yellowing, deformation, necrotic and chlorotic lesions and mottling on leaves and stunting. The infection rates of potyviruses, PVY, CMV and TSWV in Isfahan province were 33, 22, 4.18 and 3.25% of collected samples, respectively. The corresponding rates for samples from Kerman province were 15, 5, 0.8 and 0.4% of collected samples. According to these results, viral infection in Isfahan province was more than surveyed in Kerman province during the mentioned period of three years. Furthermore, generally there was a decrease in the percentage of viral infection during this three growing seasons in both provinces. This is the first report of the detection of CMV and TSWV in sunflower fields of Isfahan and Kerman and first report of PVY in Isfahan.  相似文献

Grazer control of periphyton biomass has been addressed in numerous experimental studies in all kinds of aquatic habitats. In this meta‐analysis, the results of 865 experiments are quantitatively synthesized in order to address the following questions: (i) Do lotic, lentic, and marine ecosystems differ in their degree of grazer control of periphyton biomass? (ii) Which environmental variables affect the degree of grazer control? (iii) How much does the result of these experiments depend on facets of experimental design? Across all ecosystems, the grazers removed on average 59% of the periphyton biomass, with grazing being significantly stronger for laboratory (65%) than for field (56%) experiments. Neither field nor lab experiments showed a significant difference among lotic, lentic, and coastal habitats. Among different taxonomic consumer groups, crustaceans (amphipods and isopods) and trichopteran larvae removed the highest proportion of periphyton biomass. Grazer effects increased with increasing algal biomass, with decreasing resource availability and with increasing temperature, especially in field experiments. Grazer effects also increased with increasing total grazer biomass in field experiments but showed the opposite trend in lab experiments, indicating a tendency toward overcrowded lab experiments. Other aspects of experimental design, such as cage type, size, and duration of the study, strongly affected the outcome of the experiments, suggesting that much care has to be placed on the choice of experimental design.  相似文献

Zusammenfassung In Brasilien verwenden einige Vogelarten die roßhaarähnlichen Rhizomorphen der PilzgattungMarasmius zum Nestbau. Dieses Material, das nicht mit verwitterten Ranken der BromelieTillandsia usneoides verwechselt werden darf, ist ebenso zur Auspolsterung der Nestmulde in offenen Napfnestern (Roßhaarkissen!) wie als Binde- und Flechtmaterial zum Befestigen von Nestern im Gezweig und zur Herstellung von geschlossenen Beutelnestern dienlich. Die weite Verbreitung vonMarasmius pilzen mit Roßhaarmyzelien macht die Verwendung dieser Fäden als Baumaterial in Vogelnestern auch in anderen tropischen Gebieten der Erde wahrscheinlich. Anhangweise wird ein Niststoff behandelt, der aus pilzüberzogenen Reisern besteht. Dieses Material wirkt anscheinend durch seine kalkweiße Farbe anziehend auf manche Vogelarten.Mit 4 Abbildungen  相似文献

Cell-based assays (CBA) have increased the sensitivity of the neuromyelitis optica (NMO)-IgG/aquaporin-4-antibody detection compared to classical tissue-based indirect assays. We describe the sensitivity of an optimized immunohistochemistry (IHC-o) to detect NMO-IgG/aquaporin-4-antibody in comparison with that of two CBA: an in-house (CBA-ih) and a commercial (CBA-c) assay (Euroimmun, Germany). Coded serum from 103 patients with definite NMO and 122 inflammatory controls were studied by IHC-o, CBA-ih, and CBA-c. IHC-o used the same protocol described to detect antibodies against cell surface antigens. CBA-ih used live cells transfected with the aquaporin-4-M23-isoform. The sensitivity of the IHC-o was 74.8% (95% confidence interval [CI] 65-83) and was similar to that of the CBA-ih 75.7% (95% CI 66-84) and the CBA-c 73.8% (95% CI 64-82). The specificity of the three assays was 100% (95% CI 97-100). Interassay concordance was high, 100 of 103 samples were coincident in all techniques. The optimized immunohistochemistry proves to be as sensitive and specific as the cell-based assays. This assay extends the available tools for NMO-IgG/aquaporin-4-antibody detection.  相似文献
