This article addresses a new dynamic optimization problem (DOP) based on the Predator-Prey (PP) relationship in nature. Indeed, a PP system involves two adversary species where the predator’s objective is to hunt the prey while the prey’s objective is to escape from its predator. By analogy to dynamic optimization, a DOP can be seen as a predation between potential solution(s) in the search space, which represents the predator, and the moving optimum, as the prey. Therefore we define the dynamic predator-prey problem (DPP) whose objective is to keep track of the moving prey, so as to minimize the distance to the optimum. To solve this problem, a dynamic approach that continuously adapts to the changing environment is required. Accordingly, we propose a new evolutionary approach based on three main techniques for DOPs, namely: multi-population scheme, random immigrants, and memory of past solutions. This hybridization of methods aims at improving the evolutionary approaches ability to deal with DOPs and to restrain as much as possible their drawbacks. Our computational experiments show that the proposed approach achieves high performance for DPP and and competes with state of the art approaches.  相似文献

The initial fretting damage in a glass/PMMA contact was investigated by means of experiments and numerical (F.E.M.) simulations. Both micro-crack nucleation at the contact edges and particle detachment were identified on the PMMA's surface. Micro-crack initiation was related to the combination of high tensile stresses and positive hydrostatic pressures which are known to enhance crazing. During the early stages of the fretting tests, the distribution of the detached particles within the contact was correlated to the spatial distribution of the cumulative interfacial energy dissipated by friction. As the number of cycles was increased, it was observed that detached particles moved toward the middle of the contact. On the basis of FEM simulations, this particle displacement within the contact was attributed to the existence of differential micro-displacements during the fretting cycle.  相似文献

Dynamic optimization problems (DOPs) have attracted considerable attention due to the wide range of problems they can be applied to. Lots of efforts have been expended in modeling dynamic situations, proposing algorithms, and analyzing the results (too often in a visual way). Numeric performance measurements and their statistical validation have been however barely used in the literature. Most of works in DOPs report only the best-of-generation fitness, due to its simplicity of computation. Although this measure indicates the best algorithm in terms of fitness, it does not provide any details about the actual strength and weakness of each algorithm. In this article, we conduct a comparative study among algorithms of different search modes via several performance measures to demonstrate their relative advantages. We discuss the role of using different performance measures in drawing balanced conclusions about algorithms for DOPs.  相似文献

In this work, a modified parallel-disks configuration on a strain-controlled ARES rheometer (TA Instrument) was used to study the evolution of the electrical resistivity at rest and during oscillatory shearing of a co-continuous immiscible polymer blend morphology based on polypropylene and /polymethyl(methacrylate) (PP/PMMA) in which various amounts (0–3 wt%) of multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) were added. The co-continuity of both PP and PMMA phases allowed the buildup of a conductive network due to the preferential localization of the conductive MWCNT at the interface between PP and PMMA. Under a stepwise increase of the oscillatory strain amplitude below a critical value (γc = 6.3%), a significant decrease in the electrical resistivity was observed for MWCNT concentrations above the percolation threshold (0.3 wt%) due to the conductive paths induced by both thermal (Brownian) motion and oscillatory shearing. However, for deformation amplitudes higher than γc, the resistivity increased due to the destruction of the MWCNT paths induced by the large deformation imposed on the PP/PMMA interface. These observations were also confirmed by the evolution of the storage modulus (G′) which remained constant for γc < 6.3% (linear viscoelastic regime), while the values decreased above γc due to the destruction of the system's morphology.  相似文献

In this work, the effect of Détente Instantanée Contrôlée (DIC) (French for instant controlled pressure drop) on the total polyphenol, flavonoids, α-tocopherol contents, and antioxidant activities of olive leaves was studied. Olive leaf extracts were pre-treated at one cycle DIC under 0.1 MPa pressure for 11 s and followed by an extraction with 95% ethanol at 55 °C during 3 h. The phenolic compounds, flavonoïds, oleuropein, and α-tocopherol contents were determined, showing 66.63 mg gallic acid equivalent (GAE)/g db, 12 mg catechin equivalent (CE)/g db, 43.9 mg/g db, and 0.15 mg/g db for the untreated leaves against 239.37 mg GAE/g db, 28 mg CE/g db, 70.3 mg/g db, and 0.59 mg/g db for DIC-treated leaves, respectively. Therefore, DIC allows more availability of bioactive compounds contributing to a high antiradical activity (DPPH) compared to a synthetic antioxidant butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT). Both extracts showed a total antioxidant capacity (method of phosphomolybdenum) greater than that of the standard BHT. Likewise, both extracts have a reducing power (FRAP test) significant concentration-dependent. The DIC-treated leaves showed a higher antioxidant capacity compared to that of untreated leaves. Thus, DIC could be an effective treatment to promote the extraction of bioactive molecules of high antioxidant activities from olive leaves.  相似文献

This paper presents a comparative study of sliding mode, artificial neural network and model reference adaptive speed observers for a speed sensorless permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) in wind energy conversion system (WECS). Wind velocity and position sensorless operating methods for wind generation system using observer are proposed only by measuring phase voltages and currents. Maximum wind energy extraction is achieved by running the wind turbine generator in variable-speed mode. In addition the three speed observers are compared to verify the robustness against parameter variations.  相似文献
