In this paper, a five-level cascaded H-bridge multilevel inverters topology is applied on induction motor control known as direct torque control (DTC) strategy. More inverter states can be generated by a five-level inverter which improves voltage selection capability. This paper also introduces two different control methods to select the appropriate output voltage vector for reducing the torque and flux error to zero. The first is based on the conventional DTC scheme using a pair of hysteresis comparators and look up table to select the output voltage vector for controlling the torque and flux. The second is based on a new fuzzy logic controller using Sugeno as the inference method to select the output voltage vector by replacing the hysteresis comparators and lookup table in the conventional DTC, to which the results show more reduction in torque ripple and feasibility of smooth stator current. By using Matlab/Simulink, it is verified that using five-level inverter in DTC drive can reduce the torque ripple in comparison with conventional DTC, and further torque ripple reduction is obtained by applying fuzzy logic controller. The simulation results have also verified that using a fuzzy controller instead of a hysteresis controller has resulted in reduction in the flux ripples significantly as well as reduces the total harmonic distortion of the stator current to below 4 %.  相似文献

Although yoghurt butter oil as a fermented dairy product is widely consumed in several countries, its metabolic effects have not been fully elucidated. In this study, male Wistar rats were treated with standard diet, standard diet enriched with 10% or 20% (W/W) of either cow yoghurt butter oil (CYBO), sheep yoghurt butter oil (SYBO) or cottonseed oil (COT) for 20 weeks. Treatment of rats with CYBO or SYBO (at both concentrations) did not significantly influence haematological parameters, plasma lipids and liver histological structure. However, in contrast to popular belief, COT treatment at the higher dose induced leukocytosis, dyslipidaemia and liver steatosis.  相似文献

The aim of this work was the fabrication of cotton fabric with multifunctional properties such as photochromic, hydrophobicity, antibacterial, and ultraviolet (UV) blocking. In this regard, a mixture of silica nanoparticles with spirooxazine as a photochromic dye first applied on the cotton fabric, and then, the fabric surface was coated with an alkylsilane compound. The homogenous distribution of silica and silica/spirooxazine hybrid on the cotton fibers was established by field emission scanning electron microscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, and X-ray mapping. X-ray diffraction patterns confirmed the amorphous nature of the hybrid on the treated cotton fabric. The photochromic effect of the fabrics was measured after 5-min sunlight irradiation. Other characteristics of treated fabrics, such as antibacterial activity, hydrophobic properties, and UV-blocking activity, were also assessed. The results indicated that adding silica nanoparticles to spirooxazine had a tangible effect on photochromic activity of treated cotton fabrics and its photochromic performance was higher than that of the photochromic dye. The fabric showed stable hydrophobicity with static water contact angle values of 141.2° ± 1°. Moreover, the coated cotton fabric demonstrated proper antibacterial properties and UV-blocking activity.  相似文献

This study investigates the torsional galloping phenomenon, an instability type flow-induced oscillation, in an elastic stru-cture due to hydrodynamic loads into the water current. The structure applied here is a rectangular flat plate with an elastic axis in its mid-chord length. The elasticity is provided by torsion spring. The flat plate has only one degree of freedom which is rotation in pure yaw about its axis. It is observed that as the current speed is higher than a critical velocity, the flat plate becomes unstable. The instability leads to torsional galloping occurrence, as a result of which the flat plate begins to yaw about the elastic axis. By testing two different chord lengths each with several torsion spring rates, the flat plate behavior is investigated and three different responses are recognized. Then, a phenomenological model is developed with the original kernel in the form of the van der Pol-Duffing equa-tion. The model explains these three responses observed experimentally.  相似文献

Semiconducting‐based materials such as bismuth antimony are current thermoelectric (TE) materials of choice because of their superior TE efficiency, which can be characterized by the dimensionless figure of merit (ZT). However, factoring the cost, weight, and environmental concerns, polymeric TE material systems have become attractive alternatives despite their lower ZT values. The potential to tailor the flexibility of polymeric TE materials also represent another key advantage, especially for wearable electronics. One of the key challenges to enhance their ZT values is the need to simultaneously increase the electrical conductivity and the Seebeck coefficient, while supressing the thermal conductivity. In this research, physical foaming is suggested as an innovative and effective processing strategy to circumvent this challenge. Multi‐walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT)/high density polyethylene (HDPE) nanocomposite foams were fabricated as a case example. Experimental results showed that introducing cellular structures in MWCNT/HDPE nanocomposites, loaded with 15 wt % MWCNT, would result in a 600‐fold increase in their ZT values. This great improvement was achieved through significantly reducing their effective thermal conductivity, while simultaneously increasing their electrical conductivity and Seebeck coefficients. The findings have proven that foaming can serve as a novel strategy to enhance the efficiency of various polymeric TE materials. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Appl. Polym. Evaluating the in situ concrete compressive strength by means of cores cut from hardened concrete is acknowledged as the most ordinary method, however, it is very difficult to predict the compressive strength of concrete since it is affected by many factors such as different mix designs, methods of mixing, curing conditions, compaction, etc. In this paper, considering the experimental results, three different models of multiple linear regression model (MLR), artificial neural network (ANN), and adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) are established, trained, and tested within the Matlab programming environment for predicting the 28 days compressive strength of concrete with 173 different mix designs. Finally, these three models are compared with each other and resulted in the fact that ANN and ANFIS models enables us to reliably evaluate the compressive strength of concrete with different mix designs, however, multiple linear regression model is not feasible enough in this area because of nonlinear relationship between the concrete mix parameters. Finally, the sensitivity analysis (SA) for two different sets of parameters on the concrete compressive strength prediction are carried out.  相似文献

An optimal oxygen concentration trajectory in an isothermal OCM plug flow reactor for maximizing C2 production was determined by the algorithm of piecewise linear continuous optimal control by iterative dynamic programming (PLCOCIDP). The best performance of the reactor was obtained at 1,085 K with a yield of 53.9%; while, at its maximum value, it only reached 12.7% in case of having no control on the oxygen concentration along the reactor. Also, the effects of different parameters such as reactor temperature, contact time, and dilution ratio (N2/CH4) on the yield of C2 hydrocarbons and corresponding optimal profile of oxygen concentration were studied. The results showed an improvement of C2 production at higher contact times or lower dilution ratios. Furthermore, in the process of oxidative coupling of methane, controlling oxygen concentration along the reactor was more important than controlling the reactor temperature. In addition, oxygen feeding strategy had almost no effect on the optimum temperature of the reactor. Finally, using the optimal oxygen strategy along the reactor has more effect on ethylene selectivity compared to ethane.  相似文献
