Trans FA (TFA), solid fat contents (SFC), and slip melting points of 12 different tub and stick margarines marketed in Turkey were examined in this study. No trans isomers were found in four margarines, which suggests they were formulated from interesterified or blended fats and oils. The products with no TFA generally had more short-chain saturated FA, which suggests coconut oil-based oil components. TFA content of the other 10 products varied from 7.7 to 37.8%. Compared to the products formulated in North America, Turkish margarines contain more TFA and have higher SFC.  相似文献

The dynamics of free radical polymerization of styrene and on-line control of temperature in a cooling jacketed batch polymerization reactor is investigated. The benzoyl peroxide initiator is introduced into the reactor once at the beginning of the reaction to obtain the desired monomer conversion and the desired average chain length in a minimum reaction time. The optimal constant set temperature, which is generally realized in industrial applications, and the set profile are used as two different optimal operating conditions. The temperature control of the polymerization reactor is achieved experimentally and theoretically. The control of nonlinear systems has progressed considerably, and various nonlinear process model based control techniques have appeared in the literature. The problem is how to tune the controller in order to obtain comparable closed loop responses. Generic model control (GMC) is applied and the performance of the control results are compared with the previously published control results.  相似文献

In this study, multiwall carbon nanotube (MCNT)‐supported Pd (Pd/MWCNT) catalysts are prepared by using NaBH4 reduction method. In order to maximize the oxidation and reduction of H2SO4, synthesis conditions (Pd ratio, molar ratio of NaBH4/K2PdCl4, volume of deionized water, and duration of agitation) are optimized by using response surface methodology (RSM). The optimum synthesis conditions are determined as 58.2% of Pd by weight, 154.6 molar ratio of NaBH4 to K2PdCl4, 19.48 mL of deionized water, and 186.16 min of agitation duration. The effect of electrochemical measurement conditions on the oxidation kinetics of Pd/MWCNT is also investigated by RSM. The optimum electrochemical measurement conditions are found as 10 μL of catalyst mixture, 90°C of H2SO4 solution, and 5.5 M H2SO4. The Pd/MWCNT, Pd50Ag50/MWCNT, and Pd65.6Ag33.6Cr0.80/MWCNT catalysts prepared under optimized conditions are characterized by using X‐ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, N2 adsorption‐desorption, and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. The crystallite sizes of these catalysts are found as 4.85, 5.66, and 5.26 nm for Pd/MWCNT, Pd50Ag50/MWCNT, and Pd65.6Ag33.6Cr0.80/MWCNT catalysts, respectively. Isotherms of all these catalysts are found to be similar to Type V isotherms with H3 hysteresis loop. The average particle size of Pd50Ag50/MWCNT and Pd65.6Ag33.6Cr0.80/MWCNT catalysts are determined as 5.2 and 9.2 nm, respectively. Electrochemical performance of as‐prepared catalysts is evaluated by using cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry. The formic acid electrooxidation (FAEO) activities are found as 18.9, 27.8, and 51.6 mA/cm2 for Pd/MWCNT, Pd50Ag50/MWCNT, and Pd65.6Ag33.6Cr0.80/MWCNT, respectively. Pd65.6Ag33.6Cr0.80/MWCNT shows the highest activity and stability. Optimization of synthesis conditions and electrochemical measurement parameters allow us to obtain very good electrochemical activity and stability for FAEO reaction compared with anode catalysts in the literature.  相似文献

The millimeter-wave spectrum above 70 GHz provides a cost-effective solution to increase the wireless communications data rates by increasing the carrier wave frequencies. We report on the development of two key components of a wireless transmission system, a high-speed photodiode (HS-PD) and a Schottky Barrier Diode (SBD). Both components operate uncooled, a key issue in the development of compact modules. On the transmitter side, an improved design of the HS-PD allows it to deliver an output RF power exceeding 0 dBm (1 mW). On the receiver side, we present the design process and achieved results on the development of a compact direct envelope detection receiver based on a quasi-optical SDB module. Different resonant (meander dipole) and broadband (Log-Spiral and Log-Periodic) planar antenna solutions are designed, matching the antenna and Schottky diode impedances at high frequency. Impedance matching at baseband is also provided by means of an impedance transition to a 50 Ohm output. From this comparison, we demonstrate the excellent performance of the broadband antennas over the entire E-band by setting up a short-range wireless link transmitting a 1 Gbps data signal.  相似文献

In this experimental study, the usability of waste marble dust (WMD) as an additive material in blended cement has been investigated. For this purpose, waste marble dust added cements (WMDCs) have been obtained by intergrinding WMD with Portland cement clinker at different blend ratios: 2.5%, 5.0%, 7.5% and 10% by weight. 40 × 40 × 160 mm mortar prisms have been produced with the obtained cements. Strength tests have been carried out on mortar specimen at 7, 28, and 90 days. WMDCs have been compared to each other as well as to control cements of CEM I and CEM II with respect to their physical, chemical and mechanical properties. Obtained results showed that WMDCs conform to EN 197-1 standard and thus 10% WMD can be used as an additive material in cement manufacturing.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel universal receiver baseband approach is introduced. The chain includes a post-mixer noise shaping blocker pre-filter, a programmable-gain post mixer amplifier (PMA) with blocker suppression, a differential ramp-based novel linear-in-dB variable gain amplifier and a Sallen–Key output buffer. The 1.2-V chain is implemented in a 65-nm CMOS process, occupying a die area of 0.45 mm2. The total power consumption of the baseband chain is 11.5 mW. The device can be tuned across a bandwidth of 700-KHz to 5.2-MHz with 20 kHz resolution and is tested for two distinct mobile-TV applications; integrated services digital broadcasting-terrestrial ISDB-T (3-segment f c = 700 kHz) and digital video broadcasting-terrestrial/handheld (DVB-T/H f c = 3.8 MHz). The measured IIP3 of the whole chain for the adjacent blocker channel is 24.2 and 24 dBm for the ISDB-T and DVB-T/H modes, respectively. The measured input-referred noise density is 10.5 nV/sqrtHz in DVB-T/H mode and 14.5 nV/sqrtHz in ISDB-T mode.  相似文献

The sterol and wax content of solvent extracted (SEHO) and cold pressed hazelnut oils (CPHO) were compared. A total of 48 samples from 19 hazelnut varieties were collected for two successive crop years from four different geographical districts in Turkey. Hazelnuts were processed to oil with a laboratory scale press, than the remaining oil in cake was extracted with n‐hexane. CPHO and SEHO were evaluated for their wax, sterol and squalene contents. Results showed that sterol, squalene and wax contents of all individual cultivars were higher in SEHO than those of CPHO, indicating the higher solubility of these compounds in solvent. Total sterol contents ranged between 1088.56 (Kargalak)—1609.39 mg/kg (Mincane) for CPHO and 1590.86 (Çak?ldak)—2897.26 mg/kg (Mincane) for SEHO. Hazelnut oils were found to be richer of C36‐38 esters than C40‐46 group. Total wax content was between 24.19 (Kargalak)—94.58 mg/kg (Ku?) for CPHO and 81.46 (Kargalak)—160.92 mg/kg (Akçakoca) for SEHO. The squalene amounts of the samples obtained by hexane extraction were between 499.75 (Allahverdi)—885.36 mg/kg (Cavcava), while it varied between 288.55 (Kargalak)—647.68 mg/kg (Mincane) in cold pressed oils. Significant and obvious variations between SEHO and CPHO were verified by principal component and hierarchical cluster analysis. Geographical discrimination was also achieved by discriminant analysis.  相似文献

A three-dimensional buckling delamination problem for a rectangular sandwich plate made from elastic and viscoelastic materials is studied. It is supposed that the plate contains interface embedded rectangular cracks and that the edge-surfaces of these cracks have initial infinitesimal imperfections. The evolution of these initial imperfections with an external bi-axial compressed force (for the case where the materials of the layers of the plate are elastic) or with duration of time (for the case where the materials of the layers of the plate are viscoelastic) is investigated. The corresponding boundary value problem is formulated within the framework of the piecewise homogeneous body model with the use of three-dimensional geometrically nonlinear field equations of the theory of viscoelastic bodies. This problem is solved by employing boundary form perturbation techniques, Laplace transform and FEM. According to the initial imperfection criterion, the values of the critical parameters are determined. Numerical results on the critical force and critical time are presented and discussed. In particular, it is established that the values of the critical forces obtained for the buckling delamination around the rectangular embedded interface cracks are significantly greater than those obtained for the corresponding edge and band cracks.  相似文献
