Recovery of online service is an issue in need of study. The current study empirically examines (1) the relationships among perceived justice, satisfaction with recovery of online service and repurchase intention of online service/failure encounters; and (2) the moderating effects of transaction frequency on these relationships. The current study collects 187 self-administered questionnaires to gather customers’ perceptions of actual online service/failure encounters. Research findings demonstrate that distributive justice, interactional justice and procedural justice can positively lead to satisfaction with recovery of online service and repurchase intention toward online service. These results further show that customers with low transaction frequency tend to focus more on interactional justice to establish their satisfaction with recovery of online service. On the other hand, customers with high transaction frequency focus more on procedural justice.  相似文献

Extreme environments are often faced in energy, transportation, aerospace, and defense applications and pose a technical challenge in sensing. Piezoelectric sensor based on single-crystalline AlN transducers is developed to address this challenge. The pressure sensor shows high sensitivities of 0.4–0.5 mV per psi up to 900 °C and output voltages from 73.3 to 143.2 mV for input gas pressure range of 50 to 200 psi at 800 °C. The sensitivity and output voltage also exhibit the dependence on temperature due to two origins. A decrease in elastic modulus (Young's modulus) of the diaphragm slightly enhances the sensitivity and the generation of free carriers degrades the voltage output beyond 800 °C, which also matches with theoretical estimation. The performance characteristics of the sensor are also compared with polycrystalline AlN and single-crystalline GaN thin films to investigate the importance of single crystallinity on the piezoelectric effect and bandgap energy-related free carrier generation in piezoelectric devices for high-temperature operation. The operation of the sensor at 900 °C is amongst the highest for pressure sensors and the inherent properties of AlN including chemical and thermal stability and radiation resistance indicate this approach offers a new solution for sensing in extreme environments.  相似文献

Based on the fabrication of Ag nanoparticles (NPs) with controlled geometry and surface density on an InGaN/GaN quantum well (QW) epitaxial structure, which contains indium-rich nano-clusters for producing localized states and free-carrier (delocalized) states in the QWs, and the characterization of their localized surface plasmon (LSP) coupling behavior with the carriers in the QWs, the interplay behavior of LSP coupling with carrier delocalization in the QWs is demonstrated. By using the polystyrene nanosphere lithography technique with an appropriate nanosphere size and adjusting the post-fabrication thermal annealing condition, the induced LSP resonance wavelength of the fabricated Ag NPs on the QW sample can match the QW emission wavelength for generating the coherent coupling between the carriers in the QWs and the induced LSP. The coupling leads to the enhancement of radiative recombination rate in the QWs and results in increased photoluminescence (PL) intensity, red-shifted PL spectrum, reduced PL decay time, and enhanced internal quantum efficiency. It is found that the observed effects are mainly due to the LSP coupling with the delocalized carriers in the QWs.  相似文献

HoloTabletop is a low-cost holographic-like tabletop interactive system. This system analyzes user’s head position and gaze location in a real time setting and computes the corresponding anamorphic illusion image. The anamorphic illusion image is displayed on a 2D horizontally-located monitor, yet offers stereo vision to the user. The user is able to view and interact with the 3D virtual objects without wearing any special glasses or devices. The experimental results and user studies verify that the proposed HoloTabletop system offers excellent stereo vision while no visual fatigue will be caused to human eyes. This system is a great solution for many interactive applications such as 3D board games and stereo map browsing.  相似文献

Different electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection schemes have been investigated to find the optimal ESD protection design for an analog input/output (I/O) buffer in 0.18-/spl mu/m 1.8- and 3.3-V CMOS technology. Three power-rail ESD clamp devices were used in power-rail ESD clamp circuits to compare the protection efficiency in analog I/O applications, namely: 1) gate-driven NMOS; 2) substrate-triggered field-oxide device, and 3) substrate-triggered NMOS with dummy gate. From the experimental results, the pure-diode ESD protection devices and the power-rail ESD clamp circuit with gate-driven NMOS are the suitable designs for the analog I/O buffer in the 0.18-/spl mu/m CMOS process. Each ESD failure mechanism was inspected by scanning electron microscopy photograph in all the analog I/O pins. An unexpected failure mechanism was found in the analog I/O pins with pure-diode ESD protection design under ND-mode ESD stress. The parasitic n-p-n bipolar transistor between the ESD clamp device and the guard ring structure was triggered to discharge the ESD current and cause damage under ND-mode ESD stress.  相似文献

Rescue work is one of the main objectives of firefighting. To minimize casualties and financial losses, fire service agencies consider sufficient water supply for fire suppression to be the key among the many factors affecting firefighting. The difficulty of collecting water usage data from actual fire scenes has confined the research on water allocation for firefighting in either domestic or international arena mostly to theoretical studies. Consequently, the use of firefighting water resources often follows empirical methods or related government legislation, rather than being an effective practice verified by in-depth field investigation. This study, based on fire engineering theory, employs heat release rate combined with uncertainty analysis to develop a model for estimating water requirements for firefighting. Using firefighting cases at Taoyuan County in Taiwan, R.O.C., a quantitative analysis of the field data was integrated with uncertainty analysis to evaluate the suitability and uncertainty of the proposed firefighting water supply model. The result indicates that the proposed model of firefighting water requirements can effectively reflect water demand in an actual fire incident. Among the 100 cases tested, the actual firefighting water consumptions are averaged as 44.2 metric tons whereas the mean difference between the derived water requirements and the actual amount is approximately ±15 metric tons.  相似文献

This work presents an audio watermarking scheme using minimum-amplitude scaling on the optimized lowest-frequency coefficients in the wavelet domain. Signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), bit-error-rate (BER) and Perceptual Evaluation of Audio Quality (PEAQ) are commonly utilized performance indexes in measuring the fidelity, robustness and quality of watermarking algorithms. However, there is a tradeoff relationship between audio quality and robustness. To overcome the drawback, this paper aims in proposing an optimization-based scaling scheme using optimal modification of low-frequency amplitude in the wavelet domain. A function connecting the multi-coefficients, composed of arbitrary scaling on the lowest DWT coefficients, and the group SNR of these coefficient is derived. Karush-Kuhn-Tucker (KKT) theorem and minimum length play two essential roles to obtain the optimal modification of low-frequency amplitude with optimal scaling factors. Furthermore, the almost invariant feature of these optimized scaling factors hold demonstrates resistance to amplitude modification manipulation. To practically evaluate the watermarked audio quality, an objective measurement using the PEAQ is also performed as well. Experimental results confirm that the embedded audio in the proposed method has high SNR, low BER, and good PEAQ, indicating strong robustness against various attacks, such as re-sampling, amplitude modification, and mp3 compression.

This paper proposes a novel, low cost, and portable 360-degree cylindrical interactive autostereoscopic 3D display system. The proposed system consists of three parts: the optical architecture (for back-projecting image correctly on the cylindrical screen), the projection image transformation workflow (for image rectifying and generating multi-view images), and the 360-degree motion detection module (for identifying viewers’ locations and providing the corresponding views). Based on the proposed design, only one commercial micro projector is employed for the proposed cylindrical screen. The proposed display offers great depth perception (stereoacuity) with a special designed thick barrier sheet attached to the screen. The viewers are not required to wear special glasses and within appropriate range (< 5m) the viewers can view the screen at any distance and angle. The user study verified that the proposed display offers satisfactory depth perception (binocular parallax, shading distribution, and linear perspective) for various viewing distances and angles without noticeable discomfort. The production cost of the current prototype is about USD$ 300. With mass production, the unit cost is expected to decline to within USD$60. The proposed display system has the advantages of ease of use, low production cost, high portability and mobility. The proposed system is suitable for application such as museum virtual exhibition, remote meeting, multi-user online game, etc. We believe that the proposed system is very promising for the market of low-cost portable 360-degree interactive autosereoscopic displays.  相似文献
