Compression tests of deformation and fracture behavior of wheat grains were carried out at different loading rates that varied from 0.02 to 0.11 mm s–1. The contact model originally developed for the spherical particles was adapted to describe the deformation and fracture behavior of elliptical wheat grains. The coefficient of linear thermal expansion of single-crystal SmS has been measured in the temperature range 300–850 K by dilatometry and X-ray diffraction. It is shown that the difference in the results obtained by these two methods is due to the heating-induced formation of SmS phases with small lattice parameters (5.62–5.8 Å) close to that for the metallic SmS phase. 相似文献

BACKGROUND: There is a more and more interest regarding methods of obstetric analgesia and anesthesia while there is a lack of epidemiological data about local experiences. METHODS: This survey on obstetric anesthesia and analgesia in Abruzzo and Molise is based on data obtained from questionnaires of 28 questions sent to all the departments of anesthesiology in the two regions. DISCUSSION: Out of 24 questionnaires sent, 18 were returned. By analysing the replies obtained in this investigation it is clearly pointed out how the possibility of having peridural analgesia during labor is often not available. In fact, only one center is able to guarantee an operative service 24 hours a day. Many colleagues have reported this deficit and in order to improve the situation they have proposed to activate chargeable services for labor analgesia and to increase the staff of anesthetists. Also the data concerning treatment of post vaginal delivery pain are not satisfactory. With regard to the Caesarean sections, locoregional anesthesia is performed in 24% of all cases, while the highest scores are registered in the hospitals of Castel di Sangro and L'Aquila, where general anesthesia is practically never employed. Merely in 67% of all patients postoperative analgesia is carried out on a regular basis. CONCLUSIONS: The data obtained only confirm the extent of a well-known problem. In spite of the growing interest by the medical community, the attention shown for obstetric anesthesia and analgesia is, nevertheless, insufficient, especially due to financial and organizational problems which prevent from establishing a permanent pain therapy center. 相似文献

The task of segmentation of brain regions affected by ischemic stroke is help to tackle important challenges of modern stroke imaging analysis. Unfortunately, at the moment, the models for solving this problem using machine learning methods are far from ideal. In this paper, we consider a modified 3D UNet architecture to improve the quality of stroke segmentation based on 3D computed tomography images. We use the ISLES 2018 (Ischemic Stroke Lesion Segmentation Challenge 2018) open dataset to train and test the proposed model. Interpretation of the obtained results, as well as the ideas for further experiments are included in the paper. Our evaluation is performed using the Dice or f1 score coefficient and the Jaccard index. Our architecture may simply be extended to ischemia segmentation and computed tomography image identification by selecting relevant hyperparameters. The Dice/f1 score similarity coefficient of our model shown 58% and results close to ground truth which is higher than the standard 3D UNet model, demonstrating that our model can accurately segment ischemic stroke. The modified 3D UNet model proposed by us uses an efficient averaging method inside a neural network. Since this set of ISLES is limited in number, using the data augmentation method and neural network regularization methods to prevent overfitting gave the best result. In addition, one of the advantages is the use of the Intersection over Union loss function, which is based on the assessment of the coincidence of the shapes of the recognized zones. 相似文献

NbO3 − y/2 (0 ≤ y ≤ 0.20) ceramics and identified a complicated sequence of phase transformations within the homogeneity range of sodium niobate
(y ≤ 0.10), accompanied by anomalous variations in its physical properties. At low y values, discontinuous secondary recrystallization occurs. We conclude that dielectric effects above the Curie temperature
are related to the electrical conductivity of the material and that those at low temperatures are governed by the motion of
domain walls and interfaces. The temperature-dependent structural, dielectric, and thermophysical properties of the materials
