The present paper deals with the modeling of wind turbine generation systems. The model of a doubly fed induction generator, along with the corresponding converter, crow bar protection and electrical grid is described. The different level control strategies both in normal operation and under voltage dig conditions are discussed, including speed control, torque and reactive power control for the rotor-side converter, reactive and DC voltage control for the grid-side converter and the corresponding current loops control. The results obtained with simulations are compared to experimental data obtained from voltage sags provoked to real wind turbines. 相似文献

In this paper we introduce a new method to describe dynamical patterns of the real exchange rate co-movements time series and to analyze contagion in currency crisis. The method combines the tools of symbolic time series analysis with the nearest neighbor single linkage clustering algorithm. Data symbolization allows us obtaining a metric distance between two different time series that is used to construct an ultrametric distance. By analyzing the data of various countries, we derive a hierarchical organization, constructing minimal-spanning and hierarchical trees. From these trees we detect different clusters of countries according to their proximity. We show that this methodology permits us to construct a structural and dynamic topology that is useful to study interdependence and contagion effects among financial time series. 相似文献

In this paper, we propose a multiresolution approach for surface reconstruction from clouds of unorganized points representing an object surface in 3-D space. The proposed method uses a set of mesh operators and simple rules for selective mesh refinement, with a strategy based on Kohonen's self-organizing map (SOM). Basically, a self-adaptive scheme is used for iteratively moving vertices of an initial simple mesh in the direction of the set of points, ideally the object boundary. Successive refinement and motion of vertices are applied leading to a more detailed surface, in a multiresolution, iterative scheme. Reconstruction was experimented on with several point sets, including different shapes and sizes. Results show generated meshes very close to object final shapes. The purpose of this paper is to provide guidelines for building a word alignment evaluation scheme. The notion of word alignment quality depends on the application: here we review standard scoring metrics for full text alignment and give explanations on how to use them better. We discuss strategies to build a reference corpus, and show that the ratio between ambiguous and unambiguous links in the reference has a great impact on scores measured with these metrics. In particular, automatically computed alignments with higher precision or higher recall can be favoured depending on the value of this ratio. Finally, we suggest a strategy to build a reference corpus particularly adapted to applications where recall plays a significant role, like in machine translation. The manually aligned corpus we built for the Spanish-English European Parliament corpus is also described. This corpus is freely available. 相似文献

Annual anomalies of Lambertian equivalent reflectivity (LER) retrieved from the total ozone mapping spectrometer spanning the period November 1978–November 2005 were studied in the Southern Hemisphere, in a region bounded by 0° S and 60° S, and their trends were estimated. With the exception of few regions where the variable may represent the contribution of both cloudiness and snow, trends in LER anomalies provided an evolution of total cloudiness. On average, the study region experienced a net increase in LER values of 0.78 reflectivity units (RU) decade?1; if only significant trend values are considered this figure increased to 1.18 RU decade?1. The region that showed the largest upward trend, up to 4 RU decade?1, was located over the eastern Pacific, off the coasts of Chile and Peru, where the presence of marine stratocumulus is frequent. Despite the overall positive trend there were regions that yielded a negative one, most notably the tropical latitudes of South America and Africa. The yearly zonal means also showed a positive trend at all latitudes, but significance occurred beyond 20° S only. Correlation maps between LER anomalies and five different circulation indices were also introduced. The indices with the highest and lowest number of significant correlation values were the Madden–Julian oscillation at 70° E and the quasi-biennial Oscillation, respectively. 相似文献

The accumulation of anthocyanins in grape skin and their evolution during ripening were evaluated in Monastrell grapes grown at four different sites growing season. Of the different techniques used for this purpose, we used one chromatographic [high‐performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)] and three spectrophotometric (Saint‐Cricq, Fragoso‐García and Lamadon) methods. The grapes from two of the sites (Agüeros and Rubializas) presented much higher values of anthocyanin (1279 and 1207 mg kg?1 respectively) compounds than the grapes from the other two sites. Of the different methods used, HPLC proved to be an invaluable tool for identifying and quantifying individual anthocyanins in a sample, while the Fragoso‐García technique was the best of the spectrophotometric methods for laboratories that do not have access to HPLC equipment. Application of principal component determination (PCA) to our experimental data resulted satisfactory classification of wines in terms of their geographical origin. High correlation coefficients were observed among the different spectrophotometric techniques (0.88 between Fragoso‐García and Saint Cricq; and 0.92 between Lamadon and Saint Cricq) and lower coefficients between HPLC and the spectrophotometric techniques. 相似文献

This paper introduces local distance-based generalized linear models. These models extend (weighted) distance-based linear models first to the generalized linear model framework. Then, a nonparametric version of these models is proposed by means of local fitting. Distances between individuals are the only predictor information needed to fit these models. Therefore, they are applicable, among others, to mixed (qualitative and quantitative) explanatory variables or when the regressor is of functional type. An implementation is provided by the R package dbstats, which also implements other distance-based prediction methods.
