Mapping functional requirements first to specifications and then to code is one of the most challenging tasks in software development. Since requirements are commonly written in natural language, they can be prone to ambiguity, incompleteness and inconsistency. Structured semantic representations allow requirements to be translated to formal models, which can be used to detect problems at an early stage of the development process through validation. Storing and querying such models can also facilitate software reuse. Several approaches constrain the input format of requirements to produce specifications, however they usually require considerable human effort in order to adopt domain-specific heuristics and/or controlled languages. We propose a mechanism that automates the mapping of requirements to formal representations using semantic role labeling. We describe the first publicly available dataset for this task, employ a hierarchical framework that allows requirements concepts to be annotated, and discuss how semantic role labeling can be adapted for parsing software requirements.  相似文献

In this paper, a 9-bit 1.3 GS/s single channel SAR ADC is presented. In conventional SAR ADCs, the capacitive DAC size grows exponentially with respect to converter resolution. This results in both signal bandwidth and conversion speed reduction. The proposed architecture implements binary search through a redundant capacitive DAC for the 5 first MSBs and through programmable comparator thresholds for the remaining 4 LSBs. The DAC capacitance at the front-end remains small enough to achieve high sampling rate with increased input bandwidth. Two asynchronously clocked alternate comparators are used additionally to improve conversion speed. The ADC is designed and simulated in 28 nm FD-SOI CMOS. It consumes 4.1 mW from a 1 V supply, while achieving a SNDR of 52.1 dB and a Figure-of-Merit of 11.4 fJ/conversion-step.  相似文献

In the present work the problem of determining the probabilistic structure of the dynamical response of nonlinear systems subjected to general, external, stochastic excitation is considered. The starting point of our approach is a Hopf-type equation, governing the evolution of the joint, response–excitation, characteristic functional. Exploiting this equation, we derive new linear partial differential equations governing the joint, response–excitation, characteristic (or probability density) function, which can be considered as an extension of the well-known Fokker–Planck–Kolmogorov equation to the case of a general, correlated excitation and, thus, non-Markovian response character. These new equations are supplemented by initial conditions and a marginal compatibility condition (with respect to the known probability distribution of the excitation), which is of non-local character. The validity of this new equation is also checked by showing its equivalence with the infinite system of moment equations. The method is applicable to any differential system, in state-space form, exhibiting polynomial nonlinearities. In this paper the method is illustrated through a detailed analysis of a simple, first-order, scalar equation, with a cubic nonlinearity. It is also shown that various versions of Fokker–Planck–Kolmogorov equation, corresponding to the case of independent-increment excitations, can be derived by using the same approach.

A numerical method for the solution of these new equations is introduced and illustrated through its application to the simple model problem. It is based on the representation of the joint probability density (or characteristic) function by means of a convex superposition of kernel functions, which permits us to satisfy a priori the non-local marginal compatibility condition. On the basis of this representation, the partial differential equation is eventually transformed to a system of ordinary differential equations for the kernel parameters. Extension to general, multidimensional, dynamical systems exhibiting any polynomial nonlinearity will be presented in a forthcoming paper.  相似文献

We report the experimental realization of efficient tunable nanosources of second harmonic light with individual multiresonant log-periodic optical antennas. By designing the nanoantenna with a bandwidth of several octaves, simultaneous enhancement of fundamental and harmonic fields is observed over a broad range of frequencies, leading to a high second harmonic conversion efficiency, together with an effective second order susceptibility within the range of values provided by widespread inorganic crystals. Moreover, the geometrical configuration of the nanoantenna makes the generated second harmonic signal independent from the polarization of the fundamental excitation. These results open new possibilities for the development of efficient integrated nonlinear nanodevices with high frequency tunability.  相似文献

In this work, we show that identical TiO2-based memristive devices that possess the same initial resistive states are only phenomenologically similar as their internal structures may vary significantly, which could render quite dissimilar switching dynamics. We experimentally demonstrated that the resistive switching of practical devices with similar initial states could occur at different programming stimuli cycles. We argue that similar memory states can be transcribed via numerous distinct active core states through the dissimilar reduced TiO2-x filamentary distributions. Our hypothesis was finally verified via simulated results of the memory state evolution, by taking into account dissimilar initial filamentary distribution.  相似文献

This paper focuses on the knowledge representation framework utilized by an integrated wastewater treatment expert system for diagnosing operational problems of an activated sludge plant. The system deals with events that may occur in all the units of an activated sludge plant and exploits on-line measurements, observations formed from data provided by laboratory analyses and empirical observations in an integrated manner. The system provides assistance to human experts to control the activated sludge process. It has been tested and evaluated in the pilot activated sludge plant of the Water and Air Quality Laboratory in the University of the Aegean.  相似文献

Flexible electronics have seen extensive research over the past years due to their potential stretchability and adaptability to non-flat surfaces. They are key to realizing low-power sensors and circuits for wearable electronics and Internet of Things (IoT) applications. Semiconducting metal-oxides are a prime candidate for implementing flexible electronics as their conformal deposition methods lend themselves to the idiosyncrasies of non-rigid substrates. They are also a major component for the development of resistive memories (memristors) and as such their monolithic integration with thin film electronics has the potential to lead to novel all-metal-oxide devices combining memory and computing on a single node. This review focuses on exploring the recent advances across all these fronts starting from types of suitable substrates and their mechanical properties, different types of fabrication methods for thin film transistors and memristors applicable to flexible substrates (vacuum- or solution-based), applications and comparison with rigid substrates while additionally delving into matters associated with their monolithic integration.  相似文献

In this work the problem of targeted energy transfer (TET) from a linear medium to a nonlinear attachment is studied in the presence of stochasticity. Using a Green’s function formulation, complexification-averaging technique and diffusion approximation we derive a complex, nonlinear, Ito stochastic differential equation that governs the slow dynamics of the system. Through the numerical solution of the corresponding Fokker-Planck-Kolmogorov (FPK) equation we study the optimal regime of TET and its robustness to stochasticity for the case of nonlinear interactions of the nonlinear attachment with a single mode of the linear system. The probabilistic analysis reveals that in the presence of stochasticity the optimal TET regime, predicted in the deterministic theory, is not only preserved but also is enhanced due to the interaction of nonlinearity and stochasticity.  相似文献

Any element or mechanism that can cause a spatial variation of charge density can contribute to the dielectric susceptibility of a structure. Particularly, we focus on metal-insulator-semiconductor (MIS) structures that support interfacial polarisation. Since energy storage and dissipation are two aspects of the same phenomenon, the attainable large effective electric permittivity of such structures is accompanied by comparably large dielectric losses that prohibit practical application in monolithic-microwave integrated circuits (MMICs). The authors present a process technique for developing gold nanodots buried in the insulating medium that confine the electric field within the oxide layer, that is prohibiting E-field penetration to the substrate, which is rather lossy. Measured results demonstrate that the proposed structure exhibits an almost identical effective electric permittivity with a standard MIS, nonetheless the losses are decreased.  相似文献
