The edge computing model offers an ultimate platform to support scientific and real-time workflow-based applications over the edge of the network. However, scientific workflow scheduling and execution still facing challenges such as response time management and latency time. This leads to deal with the acquisition delay of servers, deployed at the edge of a network and reduces the overall completion time of workflow. Previous studies show that existing scheduling methods consider the static performance of the server and ignore the impact of resource acquisition delay when scheduling workflow tasks. Our proposed method presented a meta-heuristic algorithm to schedule the scientific workflow and minimize the overall completion time by properly managing the acquisition and transmission delays. We carry out extensive experiments and evaluations based on commercial clouds and various scientific workflow templates. The proposed method has approximately 7.7% better performance than the baseline algorithms, particularly in overall deadline constraint that gives a success rate.

The thermal, spectroscopic and electrochemical behavior of some novel ferrocene-containing polyesteramides and their siloxane-based block copolymers are described in the present study. The thermal properties of the organometallic materials were investigated by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and compared with their terephthaloyl- and isophthaloyl-based organic analogues. The energies of activation of pyrolysis for the polymeric materials were calculated using Horowitz and Metzger method. The spectroscopic and electrochemical properties of the organometallic polymeric materials were examined by means of UV-visible (UV) and cyclic voltammetric (CV) studies. The interactions of these materials with ds.DNA (extracted from chicken blood) were also investigated.  相似文献

Proximate compositions, amino acid compositions and fatty acid compositions of fish roe have been measured and compared. Glutamic acid, aspartic acid, lysine, and serine have been the major amino acids. However, Imperial-type caviar has also included higher amounts of tryptophan (p < 0.05). Essential /Nonessential (E/NE) ratio has been found to be between 0.93 - 1.23, and n3/n6 ratio has been found to be 2.56–8.06. Major fatty acids were C16:0, C18:1 n9c, C16:1 n7, C20:5n3, and C22:6 n3. Fish roes contain high amount of lipids and energy, however, they are also rich sources of unsaturated fatty acids, proteins and amino acids.  相似文献

The resistance of asphalt pavements to traffic loading and environmental deterioration depends on the mechanical coupling of the selected bitumen–aggregate material, bitumen–aggregate interfacial properties, and cohesion of bitumen. Studies have shown that bitumen–aggregate bond strength strongly depends on the composition of the two components, and the extent of exposure to moisture. For satisfactory performance of bituminous pavements, there is a need to choose suitable combinations of bitumen and aggregate materials. This paper evaluates the adhesion of different bitumen–aggregate combinations in dry and wet conditions in the form of pull-off tensile strength using bitumen bond strength (BBS) test. Tests were carried out after conditioning the selected combinations for 24, 48, and 72 h. The results indicated that the bond strength reduces with the passage of time for the samples exposed to moisture while it increases if samples are left in the dry condition. Results show that the strength values are also affected by the aggregates’ nature. Samples containing basic aggregates showed good results in comparison to the acidic aggregates under moisture conditioning. Significance of aggregates type, bitumen type, curing condition, and curing time on pull-off tensile strength of bitumen–aggregate samples was also studied. Curing condition showed maximum significance on bond strength.  相似文献

Electrochemical (EC) quantification of 11-Mercaptoundecylferrocene (thiolated-ferrocene substrate, Fc-SH) onto gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) was carried out through cyclic voltammetric (CV) investigations in different base electrolyte aqueous media on glassy carbon (GC) electrode. The electrochemical data including peak current, peak potential values revealed the Fc-SH–AuNPs redox system to be adsorption controlled in terms of self assembled monolayers (SAMs). The electrochemically generated SAMs were found quite stable as these maintained the redox activity upto 3 months after repeated CV scans at 298 K. The overall output of this research can be utilized in two ways: application of electroactivity and stability of these SAMs in detection of biologically important molecules and also towards the development of EC biosensors.  相似文献

In this work, the viscosity effect to the dynamic characteristics of a continuous-flow agitated tank cooled by jacket were studied both experimentally and theoretically. The mathematical model of this tank was developed and it was solved with Laplace transformation. Theoretical results were compared with the experimental data

To see the effect of the viscosity change in the feed fluid to the transient behaviour of the tank, step changes were given to the feed and coolant flow rates at different glycerin concentrations.
