Summary The gravimetric estimation of mercury(II) and bismuth(III) has been carried out on a mg scale usingp-mercaptoacetamidophenetidine as the precipitant. The reagent has the required aqueous solubility and is superior to the commonly used analytical reagents of the mercaptan family. The complexes of the reagent with mercury(II) and bismuth(III) are obtained in pure state, definite in composition and stable in hot acid media.
Zusammenfassung Die gravimetrische Bestimmung von Hg(II) und Bi(III) mit p-Mercaptoacetamidophenetidin als Fällungsmittel wurde ausgearbeitet. Dieses Reagens ist den üblicherweise verwendeten Merkaptanen überlegen. Die KomplexVerbindungen mit Hg und Bi erhält man rein und in definierter Zusammensetzung. Sie sind gegenüber heißer Säure beständig.

Here we have investigated the influence of magnetic field and confinement potential on nonlinear optical property, third harmonic generation (THG) of a parabolically confinement quantum dot in the presence of Rashba spin orbit interaction. We have used density matrix formulation for obtaining optical properties within the effective mass approximation. The results are presented as a function of confining potential, magnetic field, Rashba spin orbit interaction strength and photon energy. Our results indicate that an increase of Rashba spin orbit interaction coefficient produces strong effect on the peak positions of THG. The role of confinement strength and spin orbit interaction strength as control parameters on THG have been demonstrated.  相似文献

An automorphism α of a group G is called a commuting automorphism if each element x in G commutes with its image α(x) under α. Let A(G) denote the set of all commuting automorphisms of G. Rai [Proc. Japan Acad., Ser. A 91 (5), 57–60 (2015)] has given some sufficient conditions on a finite p-group G such that A(G) is a subgroup of Aut(G) and, as a consequence, has proved that, in a finite p-group G of co-class 2, where p is an odd prime, A(G) is a subgroup of Aut(G). Let G be a finite non-abelian p-group, where p is a prime. Let Autc(G) and Autz(G) respectively denote the group of all class preserving and central automorphisms of G. We give a necessary and sufficient condition for G such that Autc(G) = Autz(G) and classify all finite non-abelian p-groups G with elementary abelian or cyclic center such that Autc(G) = Autz(G). We also characterize all finite p-groups G of order ≤ p 7 such that Autz(G) = Autz(G) and complete the classification of all finite p-groups of order ≤ p 5 for which there exist non-inner class preserving automorphisms.  相似文献

Background  

The anticancer drug, 6-mercaptopurine (6MP) is subjected to metabolic clearance through xanthine oxidase (XOD) mediated hydroxylation, producing 6-thiouric acid (6TUA), which is excreted in urine. This reduces the effective amount of drug available for therapeutic efficacy. Co-administration of allopurinol, a suicide inhibitor of XOD, which blocks the hydroxylation of 6MP inadvertently enhances the 6MP blood level, counters this reduction. However, allopurinol also blocks the hydroxylation of hypoxanthine, xanthine (released from dead cancer cells) leading to their accumulation in the body causing biochemical complications such as xanthine nephropathy. This necessitates the use of a preferential XOD inhibitor that selectively inhibits 6MP transformation, but leaves xanthine metabolism unaffected.  相似文献

We have synthesized iron oxide nanoparticles coated with a monolayer of dextran, with molecular weights of the polymer between 5 and 670 kDa. Transmission electron microscopy images confirm that the hard core has a crystalline diameter of approximately 12 nm. The hydrodynamic diameters of these coated nanoparticles in solution measured using dynamical light scattering and estimated from magnetic susceptibility studies vary from near 90 nm for the lightest polymer to 140 nm for the heaviest polymer. Conversely, fluorescence correlation spectroscopy measurements yield a diameter of approximately 55 nm for the 15?C20 kDa dextran coated nanoparticles, which is consistent with the expected value estimated from the sum of the hard-core diameter and monolayer dextran coating. We discuss the implications of this discrepancy for applications involving polymer-coated magnetic nanoparticles.  相似文献
