A general optimization formulation for transition walking prediction using 3D skeletal model is presented. The formulation is based on a previously presented one-step walking formulation (Xiang et al., Int J Numer Methods Eng 79:667–695, 2009b). Two basic transitions are studied: walk-to-stand and slow-to-fast walk. The slow-to-fast transition is used to connect slow walk to fast walk by using a step-to-step transition formulation. In addition, the speed effects on the walk-to-stand motion are investigated. The joint torques and ground reaction forces (GRF) are recovered and analyzed from the simulation. For slow-to-fast walk transition, the predicted ground reaction forces in step transition is even larger than that of the fast walk. The model shows good correlation with the experimental data for the lower extremities except for the standing ankle profile. The optimal solution of transition simulation is obtained in a few minutes by using predictive dynamics method.  相似文献

Intrusion detection systems that have emerged in recent decades can identify a variety of malicious attacks that target networks by employing several detection approaches. However, the current approaches have challenges in detecting intrusions, which may affect the performance of the overall detection system as well as network performance. For the time being, one of the most important creative technological advancements that plays a significant role in the professional world today is blockchain technology. Blockchain technology moves in the direction of persistent revolution and change. It is a chain of blocks that covers information and maintains trust between individuals no matter how far apart they are. Recently, blockchain was integrated into intrusion detection systems to enhance their overall performance. Blockchain has also been adopted in healthcare, supply chain management, and the Internet of Things. Blockchain uses robust cryptography with private and public keys, and it has numerous properties that have leveraged security’s performance over peer-to-peer networks without the need for a third party. To explore and highlight the importance of integrating blockchain with intrusion detection systems, this paper provides a comprehensive background of intrusion detection systems and blockchain technology. Furthermore, a comprehensive review of emerging intrusion detection systems based on blockchain technology is presented. Finally, this paper suggests important future research directions and trending topics in intrusion detection systems based on blockchain technology.  相似文献

We state and prove a theorem that asserts the asymptotic stability and provides an estimate of the region of attraction of an equilibrium point of the swing equations. A version of this theorem was originally introduced by Willems; however, his justifications are sketchy and, in our opinion, require additional analysis. All the Liapunov method analyses utilized in the transient stability problem of power systems have been based on the assumed validity of this theorem. The shortcomings of the other proposed proofs in the literature is that they rely on available Liapunov theorems for which an assumption can not be verified. In contrast, the techniques used in the proof here avoid the restriction of the available Liapunov theorems; moreover, they can be extended to apply to a broader class of systems.  相似文献

Cu5Zn8 normally forms between Sn-Zn solder and Cu metallization. In this study, the growth of the intermetallic compound (IMC) layer is slowed by increasing the silver content in the Sn-8.5Zn-Ag-Al-Ga/Cu system. Experimental results showed that the total thickness of the IMC layers formed with 1.5 wt.% silver content was about half that without silver. The reduction might be due to the formation of the intermetallic compound (Ag,Cu)-Zn at the interface in addition to silver.  相似文献

In light of current calls by medical professionals to confront the global issue of obesity and related illnesses, we developed a mobile application called STEP UP that monitors physical activity and provides data that can be easily shared within a social network. We then conducted an exploratory, theoretical study based on the theory of reasoned action (TRA) followed by an experimental trial and user study. The purpose of the studies was to explore the effect of persuasive technology on physical activity behavior and to investigate its effectiveness in motivating users to use the technology to be more physically active. The application was found to have a positive effect on the participants and their level of physical activity. They enjoyed using the application and were motivated to walk more, especially when enabled to share their step counts with their friends. The social component of the application clearly enhanced users’ walking experience, as the atmosphere of friendly competition motivated them to walk more. Based on user responses, we conclude that a further enhanced application that includes chat functionality may be even more successful in supporting increased physical activity and thus healthier lifestyle.  相似文献

There are increasing challenges to Egypt’s security approach to the River Nile. The river is under immense pressure. This paper examines the significance of the Nile for Egypt and the factors and problems of diminishing its waters. It reviews Egypt’s long-time policy on the Nile and concludes that this policy is difficult to maintain in the face of the present and future challenges. It recommends a non-security multilateral solution for the benefit of all parties.  相似文献

Polyaniline–polyvinyl alcohol (PANI–PVA) composite has been electrodeposited on stainless steel surface from aqueous sulfuric acid solution of aniline monomer in presence of soluble PVA at different concentrations. The PVA increased the rate of electropolymerization where 4 g/L PVA formed a composite of 37 wt% PANI and 63 wt% PVA composition. The composite layer exhibited more adhesion to the steel surface in comparison with PANI layer but with less thermal stability. It has higher protection role for the stainless steel (SS) against general and pitting corrosion. It enhanced the passivation of the SS surface by increasing the thickness of oxide film and improving the composition.  相似文献

The protection of some poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) samples against γ rays was investigated in the absence and presence of poly(p‐sulfanilamide). Pure PMMA (without additives) and PMMA–poly(p‐sulfanilamide) blend samples were irradiated with γ rays for different exposure doses (5, 15, 25, 35, 50, 75, and 100 kGy). The viscosity‐average molecular weights were determined and thin‐layer chromatography measurements were carried out after each irradiation dose. The maximum protection against γ rays was found when 1% poly(p‐sulfanilamide) was used. The radiation chemical yield for main scission (Gs) was calculated and had lower values in the case of 1% poly(p‐sulfanilamide). The energy absorption per scission was maximum for 1% poly(p‐sulfanilamide), and this confirmed the obtained Gs data. From thin‐layer chromatography studies, it was observed that both the retention factor (Rf) values and polydispersity of the PMMA samples increased with an increasing exposure dose. The effect of γ irradiation on PMMA films doped with 1% poly(p‐sulfanilamide) was investigated with UV spectroscopy after the extraction of the additives. A change in the intensity of the absorption bands with an increasing irradiation dose was recorded.
