This paper presents an automatic segmentation algorithm for video frames captured by a (monocular) webcam that closely approximates depth segmentation from a stereo camera. The frames are segmented into foreground and background layers that comprise a subject (participant) and other objects and individuals. The algorithm produces correct segmentations even in the presence of large background motion with a nearly stationary foreground. This research makes three key contributions: First, we introduce a novel motion representation, referred to as "motons," inspired by research in object recognition. Second, we propose estimating the segmentation likelihood from the spatial context of motion. The estimation is efficiently learned by random forests. Third, we introduce a general taxonomy of tree-based classifiers that facilitates both theoretical and experimental comparisons of several known classification algorithms and generates new ones. In our bilayer segmentation algorithm, diverse visual cues such as motion, motion context, color, contrast, and spatial priors are fused by means of a conditional random field (CRF) model. Segmentation is then achieved by binary min-cut. Experiments on many sequences of our videochat application demonstrate that our algorithm, which requires no initialization, is effective in a variety of scenes, and the segmentation results are comparable to those obtained by stereo systems.  相似文献

当前处理器由于较高的能量消耗。导致处理器热量散发的提高及系统可靠性的降低,已经成为目前计算机领域较为关心的问题.然而目前一些有效降低能量消耗的技术大多针对单处理器系统,较少考虑多处理器系统.本文提出的调度算法针对多处理器系统,以最短任务优先调度为基础,结合其它有效技术,如共享空闲时间回收等,使得实时任务在其截止期内完成的同时能够有效地减低整个系统的能量消耗.针对独立任务集及具有依赖关系的任务集,本文提出两种算法:STFBA1及STFBA2(Shortest Task First—Based Algorithm).与目前所知的有效算法相比,我们的算法具有更好的性能(调度长度及能量消耗).  相似文献

The 99m Tc-pyrimidine-4,5-diamine (99m Tc-PyDA) complex was prepared. The yield under the optimum conditions (5 mg of PyDA, pH 8, 25 μg of SnCl2·2H2O) was 96 ± 3%. The complex is stable in vitro for 24 h. The complex was tested on mice as potential marker for tumor hypoxia imaging. The complex showed high tumor hypoxia uptake with the target/nontarget (T/NT) ratio as high as ~3.  相似文献

A disadvantage of selective laser melting (SLM) processes for the manufacture of large parts is their slow build time per unit volume. A hybrid route is to generate core simple shapes traditionally, for example by machining, followed by adding final features by SLM. Here the mechanical integrity of such hybrid parts is studied, choosing the building of AlSi10Mg by SLM on a machined AA6082 base, in the shape of a tensile test piece, as a simple example. These materials are chosen for their relevance to lightweight parts. As-built parts fail at the SLM/machined interface but standard heat treatments transfer failures to the machined material. Optimised SLM processing conditions and microstructures of the SLM and interfacial regions are reported.  相似文献

Potentiodynamic polarization and cyclic voltametry measurements were employed to study the effect of topical fluoride preparations on corrosion of silver amalgam alloy in synthetic saliva and aqueous fluoride solutions. Results support that small amounts of copper and indium alloyed to silver – tin amalgam enhance corrosion resistance considerably. Indiloy shifts both the open circuit potential and the anodic polarization curve to more positive potential values, this lead to a decreases in the current density. The weak activity of Indiloy as compared with Spheraloy is attributed to the fact that the amount of γ2 phase (tin–mercury) present in the former is much lesser than that present in the latter. Findings also show that fluoride solutions (NaF, SnF and SnF + HCI) enhance the dissolution rate of the investigasted alloys and the polarization curves illustrate the appearance of an active – passive transitions. This behaviour was discussed on the basis of complex formation. Cyclic voltammograms confirm the results obtained from the potentiodynamic polarization measurements and elucidate the anodic oxidation peaks of silver oxide and copper verifying the proposed mechanism.  相似文献

当前处理器由于较高的能量消耗,导致处理器热量散发的提高及系统可靠性的降低,同时任务实际运行中的错误也降低了系统的可靠性.因此同时满足节能性及容错性已经成为目前计算机领域较为关心的问题.提出的调度算法针对实时多处理器计算环境,以执行时间最短的任务优先调度为基础,结合其他有效技术(共享空闲时间回收及检查点技术),使得实时任务在其截止期内完成的同时,能够动态地降低整个系统的能量消耗及动态容错.针对独立任务集及具有依赖关系的任务集,提出两种算法:STFBA1及STFBA2(shortest task first based algorithm).通过实验与目前所知的有效算法相比,算法具有更好的性能(调度长度及能量消耗)及较低的通信时间复杂度.  相似文献

Prospective beneficial effects of mixtures of temperature-adaptive solid lubricants (ZnO–MoS2) on mechanical and tribological properties of M50 alloy steel were investigated at temperatures from 25 to 800 °C. ZnO and MoS2 were mixed with M50 (designated as M) to create composites MZ (M50 steel plus ZnO), MM (M50 steel plus MoS2), and MZM (M50 steel plus both additives). Sliding friction and wear experiments were performed at different temperatures using a pin-on-disk at a sliding speed of 0.2 m s?1 and a load of 12 N. Silicon nitride and M50 steel were used as the pin materials. In order to understand the friction and wear behavior of composites, analyses of their surfaces were done using XRD, EPMA, FESEM, EDS line/mapping, and XPS tests. A dynamic simulation model based on the finite element method was built to simulate the different stresses on the contact pairs. Results elucidated that MZM attained the least friction (0.17), compared to M (0.40), MZ (0.26), or MM (0.29) at 800 °C. The increase in surface roughness of MZM due to sliding was reduced by 37.3% compared to that of MZ (11.9%) or MM (22.7%). The good lubricating behaviors were referred to the synergetic effects of ZnO, MoS2, and formed lubricating components on worn surfaces.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Plant essential oils are widely used as fragrances and flavours. Therefore, the essential oils from the leaves of Cinnamomum pubescens Kochummen (CP) and the whole plant of Etlingera elatior (EE) were investigated for their antioxidant, antibacterial and phytochemical properties. RESULTS: CP and EE were found to contain appreciable levels of total phenolic contents (50.6 and 33.41 g kg?1 as gallic acid equivalent) and total flavonoid contents (205.6 and 244.8 g kg?1 as rutin equivalent), respectively. DPPH free radical scavenging activity of CP is superior to EE (P < 0.05) showing IC50 of 77.2 and 995.1 µg mL?1, respectively. Methicillin‐resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Bacillus subtilis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Salmonella choleraesuis were tested against CP and EE. Only MRSA was the most susceptible bacteria to CP. GC/MS studies resulted in the identification of 79 and 73 compounds in CP and EE, respectively. The most abundant components of EE included β‐pinene (24.92%) and 1‐dodecene (24.31%). While the major compound in CP were 1,6‐octadien‐3‐ol,3,7‐dimethyl (11.55%), cinnamaldehyde (56.15%) and 1‐phenyl‐propane‐2,2‐diol diethanoate (11.38%). CONCLUSION: This study suggests that the essential oils from Cinnamomum pubescens Kochummen and Etlingera elatior could be potentially used as a new source of natural antioxidant and antibacterial in the food and pharmaceutical industries. We present an algorithm for creating realistic animations of characters that are swimming through fluids. Our approach combines dynamic simulation with data-driven kinematic motions (motion capture data) to produce realistic animation in a fluid. The interaction of the articulated body with the fluid is performed by incorporating joint constraints with rigid animation and by extending a solid/fluid coupling method to handle articulated chains. Our solver takes as input the current state of the simulation and calculates the angular and linear accelerations of the connected bodies needed to match a particular motion sequence for the articulated body. These accelerations are used to estimate the forces and torques that are then applied to each joint. Based on this approach, we demonstrate simulated swimming results for a variety of different strokes, including crawl, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. The ability to have articulated bodies interact with fluids also allows us to generate simulations of simple water creatures that are driven by simple controllers.  相似文献
