An approximate biogenic contribution of minor elements to sapropel of Lake Kirek in West Siberia is estimated using the “model
of direct inheritance” of their composition in plankton by OM of bottom sediments (Yudovich and Ketris, 1990). It is shown
that the lifetime accumulation of P, Br, and Zn in copepod zooplankton of Lake Kirek notably affects the concentration of
these elements in sapropelic mud (biogenic contribution is approximately 95–53%). The biogenic share of other elements in
these sediments is substantially lower: approximately 30% for Sr and Ba; 26–16% for Ca, Pb, Cd, Cu, K, Mg, and Cr; and no
more than 5% for As, Co, Fe, Ni, Ti, Y, and Mo. 相似文献

Automated search for star clusters in J, H, K

data from 2MASS catalog has been performed using the method developed by Koposov et al. (2008). We have found and verified
153 new clusters in the interval of the galactic latitude −24° < b < 24°. Color excesses E(B − V), distance moduli and ages were determined for 130 new and 14 yet-unstudied known clusters. In this paper, we publish a catalog
of coordinates, diameters, and main parameters of all the clusters under study. A special web-site available at has been developed to facilitate dissemination and scientific usage of the results. 相似文献

We present U B V I CCD photometric observations obtained in the field of open clusters SAI 63 and SAI 75. CCD optical data obtained for the first time for these clusters are used to derive the fundamental parameters of the clusters. Stellar surface density profile indicates that radii of SAI 63 and SAI 75 are ~3′.5 and 2′.5 respectively. The reddenings E(B?V) are 0.44±0.05 and 0.34±0.05 mag for SAI 63 and SAI 75 respectively while the corresponding distances are 2.2 ± 0.2 and 3.5±0.3 kpc. An age of 450 ± 50 Myr for SAI 63 and 90 ± 10 Myr for SAI 75 is determined using the theoretical isochrones of Z=0.019. Our analysis shows that reddening law is normal towards SAI 75. 相似文献

A complex of analytical methods (atomic absorption spectroscopy AAS, synchrotron radiation X-ray fluorescence SR-XRF, and instrumental neutron activation analysis INAA) were used for analyses of 40 trace elements. In compliance with the conventional biogeochemical methods, enrichment factors EF were calculated for plankton relative to the average concentrations of elements in continental clay (shale) preliminarily normalized to Sc. In order to understand the concentration specifics of trace elements in living organisms inhabiting aquatic ecosystems of variable salt composition and geochemical characteristics, chemical speciation of elements was calculated for the brines of salt lakes by the WATEQ4F and Selektor-S computer programs. The enrichment of plankton in Hg in Lake Bol’shoe Yarovoe is caused not only by the chemistry of the mineralized brine (bittern), as follows from the Hg speciation in it, but also by anthropogenic contamination (Hg-bearing wastes from the Altaikhimprom chemical plants in the town of Yarovoe). 相似文献

The results of studies of the hydrobiological regime of three sapropel lakes in Novosibirsk region in 2012 are presented. The biological production of the examined lakes, the composition and biomass of dominating species–producers of organic matter (phyto- and zooplankton, macrophytes) is determined, and the sedimentation rate of plankton and phytodetritus is estimated. The obtained results provide improved estimates of the contribution of aquatic organisms of different trophic levels to the processes of sedimentation and formation of sapropel in different types of lakes. 相似文献

Detailed estimates of seismotectonic strain (STS) characteristics are obtained for the upper crust from focal mechanisms of numerous earthquakes (M ≥ 1) in the northern and axial parts of the Tajik Depression (the Garm area, Tajikistan). It is shown that, in the majority of cases, a close interrelation exists between tectonic structures and the STS type. Changes in the STS characteristics in various areas of the depression admit a reasonable geological interpretation. Based on geological, seismological, and geodetic data, a unified scheme of deformation of layered rocks of the Tajik Depression is presented. The main factor controlling the deformation process is the extrusion of the rocks in the axial part of the depression in the NNW and SSE directions (with the formation of imbricate thrusts) and in the WSW direction. The latter case is characterized by left-lateral motions in fault zones in the south of the depression (including the Darvaz fault) and by right-lateral motions in northern zones (the Peter the First Range) located from seismological data. In our opinion, such expulsion is caused mainly by an increase of the volume of layered rocks in the Tajik Depression, apparently due to deep fluids penetrating into these rocks and supplying additional mineral material. However, it is also possible that the region is influenced, to an extent, by the general subhorizontal N-S compression associated with the convergence of the Indian and Eurasian lithospheric plates in accordance with the concept of plate tectonics. 相似文献
