Algebraic-geometric (AG) codes over finite fields with respect to the Lee metric have been studied. A lower bound on the minimum Lee distance is derived, which is a Lee-metric version of the well-known Goppa bound on the minimum Hamming distance of AG codes. The bound generalises a lower bound on the minimum Lee distance of Lee-metric BCH and Reed-Solomon codes, which have been successfully used for protecting against bitshift and synchronisation errors in constrained channels and for error control in partial-response channels. 相似文献

Cirus, a 40 MW t, vertical tank type research reactor, having wide range of research facilities, was commissioned in the year 1960. This research reactor, situated at Mumbai, India has been operated and utilized extensively for isotope production, material testing and neutron beam research for nearly four decades. With a view to assess the residual life of the reactor, detailed ageing studies were carried out during the early 1990s. Based on these studies, refurbishment of Cirus for its life extension was taken up. During refurbishment, additional safety features were incorporated in various systems to qualify them for the current safety standards. This paper gives the details of the operating experiences, utilization of the reactor along with methodologies followed for carrying out detailed ageing studies, refurbishment and safety upgradation for its life extension. 相似文献

The paper presents families of quadriphase sequences derived from maximal length sequences over having good correlation properties. These are: (i) families of quadriphase sequences of period from maximal length sequences over ; each family consisting of sequences, (ii) families of quadriphase sequences of period from interleaved maximal length sequences over ; each family consisting of sequences. Such sequences are of interest in quadriphase modulated code division multiple access communication systems,
where it is desirable to have large sets of sequences that possess low value of , the maximum magnitude of the periodic crosscorrelation and out of phase auto-correlation values. The sequences over are viewed as trace functions of appropriately chosen unit elements of Galois extension rings of . Quadriphase sequences are then obtained from sequences, by a quadriphase mapping, , from to roots of unity, given by, ; where and . Periodic correlation properties (correlation values and their distribution) of the quadriphase sequences are obtained by
using an Abelian association scheme on the elements of the corresponding Galois extension ring of . The majority of the families of sequences derived are optimal with respect to the Welch lower bound on ; the rest being suboptimal with bounded by , where is the period\newpage of the sequences. However nearly half of the sequences in these families are balanced.

The B-spline functions are used to develop recursive algorithms for the efficient implementation of two-dimensional linear digital image filters. These filters may be spatially varying. The B-splines are used in a representation of the desired point spread function. We show that this leads to recursive algorithms and hardware implementations which are more efficient than either direct spatial domain filter realizations or FFT implementations. The Z-transform is used to develop a discrete version of Duhamel's theorem. A computer architecture for B-spline image filters is proposed and a complexity analysis and comparison to other approaches is provided. 相似文献

The article investigates an integrated multi-layer supply chain model consisting of supplier, manufacturer and retailer while supply disruption, machine breakdown, safety stock, maintenance breakdown occur simultaneously. At beginning of the production, manufacturer keeps some raw materials in stock received from second supplier at high price, as safety stock due to supply disruption of first supplier. Corrective maintenance is done immediately to restore its normal stage when machine breakdown occurs. Stock out situations at manufacturer and retailer are considered due to disruption of production for machine breakdown. The integrated expected costs of the chain in centralized (collaborating) and decentralized (Stakelberg approach) system are compared. Al2 O3 and SiC composite materials have been produced from mixtures of aluminosilicates (both natural minerals and synthetic) and carbon as precursor materials. These composites are produced by heating a mixture of kaolinite (or synthetic aluminosilicates) and carbon in stoichiometric proportion above 1550°C, so that only Al2 O3 and SiC remain as the major phases. A similar process has also been used for synthesizing other composite powders having mixtures of Al2 O3 , SiC, TiC, and ZrO2 in different proportions (all compounds together or selective mixtures of some of them), as desired. The microstructure of hot-pressed dense compacts, produced from these powders, revealed that the SiC phase is distributed very homogeneously, even occasionally within Al2 O3 grains on a nanosize scale. The homogeneous distribution of SiC particles within the system produced high fracture toughness of the hot-pressed material (KIC ∼ 7.0 MPa · m1/2 ) and having Vicker's hardness values greater than 2000 kgf/mm2 . 相似文献

8‐hydroxy‐5‐azoquinolinephenylacrylate‐formaldehyde (8H5AQPA‐F) macromonomer was prepared from acryloylchloride, with condensation products of 8‐hydroxy‐5‐azoquinolinephenol‐formaldehyde, and polymerized in DMF at 70°C using benzoyl peroxide as free radical initiator. Poly(8H5AQPA‐F) was characterized by infrared and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopic techniques. Polychelates were obtained in alkaline solution of polymeric ligand, with the aqueous solution of Cu(II) and Ni(II). Elemental analysis of polychelates suggests that the metal to ligand ratio is about 1:2. The polymer metal complexes were also characterized by IR, XRD, magnetic moments, and thermal analysis. High-resolution solid-state 13C-NMR has been used to study the phase separation and molecular motion in two series of polyurethane foams. These two series differ by one possessing the additive of lithium chloride, LiCl. NMR relaxation times can map the motion throughout the polymer molecule and detect changes in that motion arising from either microseparation or phase mixing between the different segments. There are only slight changes in the soft segment T1p(13C) values as well as an increase in the hard segment T1p(1H) values with increase in the hard segment content for the foams studied. The T1p(1H) and T1p(13C) values do indicate that the phase separation of the hard and soft segments is similar for all foams. A decrease in the T1p(1H) and T1p(13C) values with increasing LiCl content indicates that the motion of the soft segments is restricted more by the hard segments. Software testing plays a pivotal role in entire software development lifecycle. It provides researchers with extensive opportunities to develop novel methods for the optimized and cost-effective test suite Although implementation of such a cost-effective test suite with regression testing is being under exploration still it contains lot of challenges and flaws while incorporating with any of the new regression testing algorithm due to irrelevant test cases in the test suite which are not required. These kinds of irrelevant test cases might create certain challenges such as code-coverage in the test suite, fault-tolerance, defects due to uncovered-statements and overall-performance at the time of execution. With this objective, the proposed a new Modified Particle Swarm optimization used for multi-objective test suite optimization. The experiment results involving six subject programs show that MOMPSO method can outer perform with respect to both reduction rate (90.78% to 100%) and failure detection rate (44.56% to 55.01%). Results proved MOMPSO outperformed the other stated algorithms. 相似文献
