Nylon-6,6 — a typical polyamide — was annealed in the swollen state in glycerol to promote the partial melting of the polymer crystal. The recrystallization or lamellar thickening of nylon-6,6 crystal following partial melting was easily induced by this annealing, and the lamellar thickness of the crystal increased stepwise by monomer unit length with increasing annealing temperature or annealing time. In addition, another distinct layer-thickening mechanism was observed which led to approximately doubling (and frequently quadrupling) the straight stem length of the lamellar crystal for all samples annealed under adequate conditions. New melting endotherms corresponding to these layer thicknesses (range of long spacings 140–180Å) were obtained by differential scanning calorimetry (d.s.c.) at temperatures ranging from 270° to 282°C. The mechanism of lamellar thickening is discussed with reference to the experimental results. 相似文献

We developed flexible displays using back‐channel‐etched In–Sn–Zn–O (ITZO) thin‐film transistors (TFTs) and air‐stable inverted organic light‐emitting diodes (iOLEDs). The TFTs fabricated on a polyimide film exhibited high mobility (32.9 cm2/Vs) and stability by utilization of a solution‐processed organic passivation layer. ITZO was also used as an electron injection layer (EIL) in the iOLEDs instead of conventional air‐sensitive materials. The iOLED with ITZO as an EIL exhibited higher efficiency and a lower driving voltage than that of conventional iOLEDs. Our approach of the simultaneous formation of ITZO film as both of a channel layer in TFTs and of an EIL in iOLEDs offers simple fabrication process. 相似文献

Extractions of five kinds of lanthanide metal ions by bis(2-ethylhexyl)phosphoric acid (DEHPA) with [1-Cn-3-methylimidazolium][PF6](Cn = C2, C4) or [1-butyl-4-methylpyridinium][PF6] were carried out under various DEHPA and HNO3 concentrations from 0 to 1 M and under different temperature conditions from 298 to 333 K. These results were compared with those using the conventional organic solvent, hexane, in terms of their distribution coefficient values. Under all of the conditions in this study, the ionic liquid system shows more than three times greater extractability for lanthanide compared to when hexane was used. The distribution coefficient of lanthanide ions decreased as the length of the alkyl chain increased from the ethyl to the butyl. In addition, the imidazolium cation generally shows a higher distribution coefficient compared to the pyridinium cation in an ionic liquid. The concentration ratio of lanthanides and DEHPA resulted in an extraction affinity transition for lanthanides. Also evaluated in this study were issues related to the selectivity associated with the lanthanide mixture and the dependency of the ionic radius during lanthanide extraction. 相似文献

Metal spinning is a plastic forming process in which a disk or tube of metal is rotated at high speed and forced onto a mandrel. It is widely used in industry as an efficient, modern and economical production technique. This research proposes to develop a versatile robotic forming method and expand the application areas of robotic manufacturing processes to the metal spinning area. A lathe-type laboratory setup has been built and an industrial robot manipulator has been used to implement the metal spinning process. Experiments have been conducted with enhanced cascaded trajectory tracking algorithms with an add-on vibration suppressor. The potential of the proposed method has been illustrated with extensive case studies using both constant and variable speed trajectory profiles. Analyses for the growth of wrinkles have been performed through the topographical measurements of the products and the forming forces have been inspected. Results indicate that the efficiency of the process can be significantly improved with suitably selected variable speed trajectory profiles and the process parameters. The developed scheme successfully reduces the excessive oscillations of the manipulator during the metal spinning process and it requires no additional hardware to employ. The investigations demonstrate the feasibility of robotic metal spinning using an industrial serial link manipulator. 相似文献

It has been reported that elongated Au nanoparticles oriented parallel to one another can be synthesized in SiO2 by ion irradiation. Our aim was to elucidate the mechanism of this elongation. We prepared Au and Ag nanoparticles with a diameter of 20 nm in an SiO2 matrix. It was found that Au nanoparticles showed greater elongated with a higher flux of ion beam and with thicker SiO2 films. In contrast, Ag nanoparticles split into two or more shorter nanorods aligned end to end in the direction parallel to the ion beam. These experimental results are discussed in the framework of a thermal spike model of Au and Ag nanorods embedded in SiO2. The lattice temperature exceeds the melting temperatures of SiO2, Au and Ag for 100 ns after one 110 MeV Br10+ ion has passed through the middle of an Au or Ag nanorod. 相似文献

The development of a sensitive pre-column derivatization high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method for determination of sucralose is reported. Sucralose is converted into a strongly ultraviolet (UV)-absorbing derivative, possessing strong absorption at 260 nm, by treatment with p-nitrobenzoyl chloride (PNBCl). Homogenized samples were dialyzed and washed with a Bond Elut ENV cartridge, then the eluate was evaporated to dryness and the residue was derivatized. Subsequently, the sucralose derivative was purified with hexane-ethyl actate (9:1) in a silica cartridge, and then the sucralose derivative was eluted with acetone. HPLC was performed on a phenyl column, using acetonitrile-water (73:27) as a mobile phase with UV detection (260 nm). The calibration curve was linear in the range of 1 microgram/mL to 50 micrograms/mL of sucralose. The recoveries of sucralose from eight kinds of foods spiked at the levels of 0.20 and 0.05 g/kg of sucralose were more than 76.2% with SD values in the range from 0.90% to 4.31%. The quantitative limit of the developed method was 0.005 g/kg for sucralose in samples. 相似文献

The tropospheric particle extinction-to-backscatter ratio, the depolarization ratio, and the water-vapor mixing ratio were measured by use of a Raman lidar and a polarization lidar during the Asian dust seasons in 2001 and 2002 in Tsukuba, Japan. The apparent (not corrected for multiple-scattering effects) extinction-to-backscatter ratios (Sp) showed a dependence on the relative humidity with respect to ice (RHice) obtained from the lidar-derived water-vapor mixing ratio and radiosonde-derived temperature; they were mostly higher than 30 sr in dry air (RHice < 50%), whereas they were mostly lower than 30 sr in ice-supersaturated air (RHice > or = 100%), where the apparent extinction coefficients were larger than 0.036 km(-1). Both regions showed mean particle depolarization ratios of 20%-22%. Comparisons with theoretical calculations and the previous experiments suggest that the observed dependence of Sp on RHice is attributed to the difference in the predominant particles: nonspherical aerosols (mainly the Asian dust) in dry air and cloud particles in ice-supersaturated air. 相似文献

Discrete variational (DV) Xα cluster method has been employed in calculating electronic structures of ZnO. Electronic structures of the bulk and the non-polar surface model clusters are calculated with inclusion of electrostatic potentials in the bulk and near the surface, and the electronic origins of experimental spectra and chemical bonds at the surface are examined in detail. The valence band structure constructed by Zn-3d and O-2p bands is much influenced by electrostatic potentials in ZnO. It is found that the reduction of an electrostatic potential near the surface gives rise to the difference of the valence band structures between in the bulk and at the surface. The calculated density of states at the non-polar surface of ZnO, where the Zn-3d and O-2p bands are more widely separated than in the bulk, is in good agreement with the experimental UPS. In addition, a Zn-O bond at the surface is found to show stronger covalency than that in the bulk, as a result of the change of the valence band structure due to the effect of the electrostatic potential. 相似文献
