Mechanically responsive surfaces that allow to switch reversibly from a hydrophobic to a hydrophilic substrate are reported. The surfaces are constituted of polyelectrolyte multilayers deposited on modified charged silicone sheets. n bilayers of poly(allylamine)-Nafion (PAH-Naf) and m bilayers of poly(allylamine)-poly(acrylic acid) (PAH-PAA) composed the multilayers. A (PAH-Naf)(n) film possesses a water contact angle of around 105 degrees, whereas the contact angle of a (PAH-Naf)(4)-(PAH-PAA)(m) multilayer is around 50 degrees. When such a film with m < 5 and terminated by PAA is stretched out, its water contact angle increases up to around 100 degrees. Successive elongation/retraction cycles allow the water contact angle to alternate reversibly between 100 and 57 degrees indicating the reversible mechanical responsive nature of the film.  相似文献

Treatment of R = -CH(2)X (X = halogen) derivatives of the type [RCo(III)(LNH-py)(HLNH-py)](+), where HLNH-py = 2-(2-pyridyl-ethyl)amino-3-butanone oxime and LNH-py its conjugated base with diluted NaOH, afforded a new complex containing a three-membered ring by a pathway involving the intramolecular nucleophilic addition of an equatorial nitrogen donor to the axial carbon. The X-ray analysis reveals a highly distorted structure. The C-Co-N angle is acute (42.8 degrees ) with the distortion of the coordination sphere concentrated in the Co-C axial and Co-N bonds, which move away from the pseudo-octahedral positions in the CH(2)X parent complex to form the C-N bond of the metallocycle. Kinetic studies of the formation of this novel complex starting from [(XCH(2)Co(III)(LNH-py)(HLNH-py)](+) (X = Cl,Br,I) showed that the metallocycle formation rates increase in the order Cl < Br < I. Kinetic data are consistent with a mechanism involving an intermediate species resulting from the deprotonation of an amine equatorial nitrogen in a rapid preequilibrium, followed by the slow step of the ring closure.  相似文献

The guest-induced synthesis of a molecular box from methylaquacobaloxime and 1,4-phenylenebisboronic acid, with pyrazine (pz) as guest, is described. The resulting supramolecular species was characterized by X-ray structural analysis, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy, and low-resolution electrospray ionization (ES) mass spectrometry. The assembly was monitored by a time dependent 1H NMR experiment, which showed that the guest thermodynamically drives the assembly of the host. The effectiveness of pyrazine in this role arises from its having both the correct geometry and a sufficiently low pKa value. Several other ditopic ligands were tested, but none led to formation of an analogous product. However, a second supramolecular species was formed in the case of ethylenediamine (en). X-ray structural analysis and 1H and 13C spectroscopy revealed that this is closely related to the first, with a phenyl side removed and the pz bridge substituted by the en bridge.  相似文献

One hundred and one volatile compounds, reported in literature as powerful odorants of wine, were quantified by Gas Chromatography-Selective Ion Monitoring/Mass Spectrometry (GC-SIM/MS) in Primitivo, Aglianico, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon red wines. Wine samples were extracted by 3 different extraction methods: 1) separation of the alcoholic fraction from the aqueous phase by salting-out and subsequent extraction by liquid-liquid micro-extraction with 1,1,2-trichlorotrifluoroethane (Freon 113); 2) extraction by liquid-liquid micro-extraction with dichloromethane; 3) solid phase extraction (SPE cartridge: 800 mg of LiChrolut EN resin) with pentane-dichloromethane (20:1) and dichloromethane. The selection of the ion fragments used for quantification was directly performed on a red wine sample. For each compound the area of the corresponding peak was normalized respect to the peak of the internal standard and then interpolated in a calibration curve obtained analysing a model wine solution (water, ethanol, tartaric acid and known amounts of analytes and of internal standard). The methods showed a good linearity: r2>0.990, except for farnesol (isomer a and c), octanal, decanal, furaneol and phenylacetic acid with 0.966 < or = r2 < or = 0.990. The 7 most powerful odorants were: beta-damascenone, acetaldehyde, maltol, ethyl 2-methylbutanoate, ethyl 3-methylbutanoate, 3-methylbutanoic acid and acetal; 7 other slightly less important were: ethyl hexanoate, ethyl acetate, 1-octen-3-ol, butanoic acid, rose oxide, furaneol and sotolon. The Aglianico wines were characterised by the major fermentation compounds (esters, fatty acids and 2-phenylethanol), beta-damascenone, beta-ionone and linalool. The Primitivo wines were characterized by furaneol, methoxypyrazine, gamma-nonalactone and acetaldehyde, while Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot wines principally by cask derivates (vanillin, (Z) 3-methyl-gamma-octalactone [(Z) wiskylactone], maltol and eugenol), some aldehydes and 3-isopropyl-2-methoxypyrazine.  相似文献

Measurements by capillary electrophoresis (CE) of bacitracin A(1) effective mobility at different pH values permitted to estimate the five acidic dissociation constants and the Stokes radii at different protonation stages of the macrocyclic dodecapeptide. The pK(a) values were 3.6 and 4.4 for the two carboxylic groups of the lateral chains of D-Asp-11 and D-Glu-4, respectively, 6.4 for the aza-atom of the imidazole ring of His-10, 7.6 for the amino group of N-terminal Ile-1 and 9.7 for the delta-amino group of D-Orn-7, very close to the values obtained by other researchers by titration experiments. In agreement with a rigid macrocyclic structure the Stokes radii of different protonated forms ranged only between 14.3 and 14.8 A. Best fitting procedures performed on experimental mobility measured at two different pH values (5.50 and 6.72) in the presence of increasing Zn(+2) concentration allowed confirming the model that assumes the binding of Zn(+2) to P(0) peptide form with a 1.5 x 10(3) M(-1) intrinsic association constant. Following to Zn(+2) binding, the pK(a) of the amino group of N-terminal Ile-1 is shifted from 7.6 to 5.9 and the Stokes radius is reduced of about 3 A. The mean charge of the bacitracin A(1)-Zn(+2) complex resulted +1.67 and +1.12 at pH 5.50 and 6.72, respectively. These results suggest that the amino group of N-terminal Ile-1 is not essential for Zn(+2) binding.  相似文献

The electronic structure of adenosylcobalamin (B12 coenzyme, AdoCbl) has been calculated by a density functional method, using the orthogonalized linear combination of the atomic orbital method (OLCAO). Since a fixed accurately determined geometry was needed in such calculations, the crystal structure of adenosylcobalamin has been redone and refined to R = 0.065, using synchrotron diffraction data. Comparison with the recently reported electronic structures of cyano- (CNCbl) and methylcobalamin (MeCbl) shows that the net charges and bond orders vary only on the axial donors. The values in the three cobalamins suggest that the Co-C bond in MeCbl has a strength similar to that in AdoCbl, but it is significantly weaker that that in CNCbl. Present results are compared with those previously reported for the analogous corrin derivatives; i.e., simplified cobalamins with the side chains a-f replaced by H atoms. Despite a qualitative agreement, a discrepancy in the calculated HOMO-LUMO gap is found.  相似文献
