A series of chiral phosphine-phosphite ligands 1-6 have been synthesized and used in the enantioselective palladium-catalyzed reaction of rac-1,3-diphenyl-2-propenyl acetate with dimethyl malonate as nucleophile. Ligands 1a, 2, 3, 5a, 6a, and 6b have been synthesized starting from racemic tert-butylphenylphosphinoborane. The use of dynamically resolved Li phosphide (-)-sparteine provided the optically pure ligands. Crystals of the allylpalladium (6a) complex were obtained, suitable for X-ray crystal structure determination. The X-ray crystal structure of the allylpalladium (6a) complex revealed a longer palladium-carbon bond distance trans to the phosphine moiety indicating that the attack of the nucleophile takes place at the carbon trans to the phosphine moiety. This was confirmed by the fact that the phosphine moiety did not affect the enantioselectivity directly. Under mild reaction conditions, enantioselectivities up to 83% were obtained (25 degrees C) with ligand 1e. Systematic variation of the ligand bridge and the phosphite moiety showed that the configuration of the product is controlled by the atropisomerism of the biphenyl substituent at the phosphite moiety. The conformation of the biphenyl group, in turn, is controlled by the substituent at the chiral carbon in the bridge. Ligands with large bite angles yielded higher enantioselectivities. 相似文献

Eleven human hair samples were taken from the Chinese residents of Hong Kong for the study of hair trace elemental level and
environmental exposures. Absolute neutron activation analysis and Ge(Li) gamma-ray spectrometry were applied in the determination
of the trace elemental level. All results are reported in parts per million except for sulfur and oxygen which are reported
in percent. The trace element content of hair from a drug addict was found to be considerably different from other sampled
people. Comparison of the normal concentrations of the trace elements of the Chinese residents of Hong Kong was made with
those from people of various other national, socio-cultural and environmental backgrounds. It was found that together with
a few other trace elements, Ni, Sr, Zr and Hg content of the Chinese Residents of Hong Kong show a higher level than those

Peroxidation of the phenazine of beta-lapachone using m-ClC6H4CO3H-CH2Cl2 furnished a macrolactone with a rigid 10-membered ring, and the corresponding N-oxide, along with a dihydrobenzophenazine-5-one. All of the new compounds were fully characterized by spectroscopic methods, with the unambiguous assignment of the hydrogens and carbon NMR signals for the N-oxide, with the aid of 2-D NMR, mainly COSY, HMQC, HSQC and HMBC. This study identified the isoindolone ring as a scaffold for novel agents against Trypanosoma brucei rhodesiense and explored the structure-activity relationships of various aromatic ring substitutions. The compounds were evaluated in an integrated in vitro screen. Eight compounds exhibited selective activity against T. b. rhodesiense (IC50<2.2 μm ) with no detectable side activity against T. cruzi and Leishmania infantum. Compound 20 showed low nanomolar potency against T. b. rhodesiense (IC50=40 nm ) and no toxicity against MRC-5 and PMM cell lines and may be regarded as a new lead template for agents against T. b. rhodesiense. The isoindolone-based compounds have the potential to progress into lead optimization in view of their highly selective in vitro potency, absence of cytotoxicity and acceptable metabolic stability. However, the solubility of the compounds represents a limiting factor that should be addressed to improve the physicochemical properties that are required to proceed further in the development of in vivo-active derivatives. 相似文献

Abstract We report the computed equilibrium geometries and vibrational infrared frequencies of a group of thirteen mercaptans and sulfides. The computations were based on the Gaussian 86 Program Package utilizing 3-21G basis sets. The theoretical bond distances and bond angles are in agreement with the available experimental data. The agreement between computed frequencies and available experimental values seems reasonable. We also used the computations as guidelines for the assignment of available experimental infrared frequencies. We believe that it is possible to make reliable frequency predictions by combining computations with available experimental data for groups of similar molecules. However, it is necessary to introduce different correction factors for different types of vibrational modes if we use 3-21G basis sets. 相似文献

To understand the surprising behavior between the variations of the P′–P–P″ angles and the correlated variations of the O′–P–O″ ones, two lithium cyclohexaphosphate compounds Li6P6O18·3H2O and Li6P6O18 are studied by solid state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. The two compounds exhibit the same [P6O18]6− ring anions but with 3m or
internal symmetry, respectively. Such symmetries induce local distortions that are exhibited by NMR spectroscopy. One-dimensional (1D) NMR gives information on structural sites of 7Li and 31P ions and the crystallographic non-equivalencies are observed. Nevertheless, in the anhydrous compound, X-ray diffraction and NMR results do not completely agree and some discrepancy exists between the number of sites observed with the first technique and the number of lines exhibited in the NMR spectra either for 7Li or 31P nuclei. This problem is elucidated by using 2D double quantum NMR spectroscopy coupled with theoretical considerations. We find that the 31P chemical shift tensor is dependent on the deviations of the O–P–O angles from those in the regular tetrahedron. Within the same empirical model, we suggest that the surprising behavior between the variations of the P′–P–P″ and the ones of the O′–P–O″ is related to the overall charge on the PO4 group. We also find the positions of the isotropic lines for 7Li essentially depend on the site co-ordination of this nuclei. 相似文献
