Improving performance characteristics of semiconductor sensors based on adsorption SnO2 using photons stimulation

The paper considers the possibility of increasing the sensitivity of semiconductor adsorption sensors using photon laser stimulation of low power. The results of experiments on the detection of vapors of malonic ester to semiconductor sensors manufactured on the basis of tin dioxide with various doping impurities with the use of laser irradiation and without it. The mechanism of photon stimulation was proposed and its effect was examined on the kinetics of adsorption and an increase the indicator effect.     

Filled latex composites with high dielectric constant, based on dispersed ferroelectrics

The possibility of controlling the physicochemical properties of suspensions and the electrical properties of filled latex composites containing dispersed ferroelectrics was examined. The use of ferroelectrics as fillers allows preparation of polymeric composites with high dielectric constant ? and low dielectric loss, used, e.g., for the development of dielectric functional layers of electroluminescence light sources.     

Sorption of Iron(II) on Ferromanganese Nodules

The dynamic capacity, specific surface area, grindability, and wearability of filter materials based on pyrolusite were determined. Conducting polymeric composites based on butadiene-acrylonitrile latex

The possibility of controlling the physicochemical and electric properties of conducting latex composites based on butadiene-acrylonitrile latex and carbon fillers, using data on the content of active centers on the filler surface and their distribution with respect to donor-acceptor properties, was examined. To make the fillers compatible with the latexes and prevent their coagulation, the fillers were modified with Leukanol.     

Isotherm of Pb-Na cation exchange on iron-manganese concretions

Isotherm of Pb²⁺ and Na²⁺ cation exchange on iron-manganese concretions was studied. The ion exchange was described by a modified Langmuir equations. The limiting sorption and apparent ion-exchange constant were calculated.     

Crystal structures of ruthenium(III) cis- and trans-trifluoroacetylacetonate

Single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis is used to determine the structures of ruthenium(III) cis and trans trifluoroacetylacetonate at a temperature of 150 K. The crystallographic data for cis-C₁₅H₁₂F₉O₆Ru are: a = 8.6562(3) Å, b = 12.6941(3) Å, c= 17.8776(5) Å, β = 93.129(1)°, P2₁/n space group, V = 1961.51(10) ų, Z = 4, d _x =1.897 g/cm³, R = 0.0565. For trans C₁₅H₁₂F₉O₆Ru they are: a = 13.4060(3) Å, b = 14.5946(3) Å, c = 20.1316(4) Å, Pcab space group, V = 3938.85(14) ų, Z = 8, d _x = 1.890 g/cm³, R = 0.0840. Both structures are molecular and built of neutral molecules; the metal atom coordinates six atoms of oxygen of three ligands of β-diketone. The R—O distances in cis Ru(tfac)₃ lie between 1.99 Å and 2.03 Å; in trans Ru(tfac)₃, 1.99 Å and 2.02 Å. The molecules in the crystal are bonded only by van der Waals interactions; in the structures of the cis and trans forms, the six shortest Ru…Ru distances lie within the limits of 7.601-8.656 Å and 7.326–7.714 Å respectively.     

Exchange Isotherm of Strontium(II) and Iron(III) Ions on Clay

Joint sorption of Sr^{2 +} and Fe^{3 +} ions on blue Cambrian clay was studied. A relationship between the isotherm of ideal ion exchange and the Langmuir sorption isotherm was revealed. The apparent constant and Gibbs energy of exchange of Sr^{2 +} and Fe^{3 +} ions on blue Cambrian clay were calculated.
