Favipiravir is a potential antiviral medication that has been recently licensed for Covid-19 treatment. In this work, a gadolinium-based magnetic ionic liquid was prepared and used as an extractant in dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction (DLLME) of favipiravir in human plasma. The high enriching ability of DLLME allowed the determination of favipiravir in real samples using HPLC/UV with sufficient sensitivity. The effects of several variables on extraction efficiency were investigated, including type of extractant, amount of extractant, type of disperser and disperser volume. The maximum enrichment was attained using 50 mg of the Gd-magnetic ionic liquid (MIL) and 150 μl of tetrahydrofuran. The Gd-based MIL could form a supramolecular assembly in the presence of tetrahydrofuran, which enhanced the extraction efficiency of favipiravir. The developed method was validated according to US Food and Drug Administration bioanalytical method validation guidelines. The coefficient of determination was 0.9999, for a linear concentration range of 25 to 1.0 × 105 ng/ml. The percentage recovery (accuracy) varied from 99.83 to 104.2%, with RSD values (precision) ranging from 4.07 to 11.84%. The total extraction time was about 12 min and the HPLC analysis time was 5 min. The method was simple, selective and sensitive for the determination of favipiravir in real human plasma.  相似文献

A sensitive and rapid Spectrofluorimetric method for the determination of guanethidine sulphate, guanfacine hydrochloride, guanoclor sulphate and guanoxan sulphate in tablets and spiked human serum and urine samples is described. The method is based on the reaction of monosubstituted guanidino compounds in an aqueous potassium hydroxide solution with benzoin, in the presence of -mercaptoethanol and sodium sulphite. Highly fluorescent derivatives were obtained, with excitation and emission maximum wavelengths around 325 and 430 nm, respectively. In optimal reaction conditions, the linearity ranges were 0.04–0.28 g/ml, with relative standard deviations less than 2%. The method has been successfully applied to the determination of these drugs in tablets. The results are highly correlated with the B.P. method. Chloroform (or for guanoxan dichloromethane) was used to extract the drugs from serum and urine at basic pH, followed by the proposed fluorimetric method. The limit of detection is 0.02 g/ml for the selected drugs.  相似文献

A novel monolithic stationary phase having long alkyl chain ligands (C17) was introduced and evaluated in capillary electrochromatography (CEC) of small neutral and charged species. The monolithic stationary phase was prepared by the in situ copolymerization of pentaerythritol diacrylate monostearate (PEDAS) and 2-acrylamido-2-methyl-1-propanesulfonic acid (AMPS) in a ternary porogenic solvent consisting of cyclohexanol/ethylene-glycol/water. While AMPS was meant to support the electroosmotic flow (EOF) necessary for transporting the mobile phase through the monolithic capillary, the PEDAS was introduced to provide the nonpolar sites for chromatographic retention. Monolithic columns at various EOF velocities were readily prepared by conveniently adjusting the amount of AMPS in the polymerization solution as well as the composition of the porogenic solvent. The monolithic stationary phases thus obtained exhibited reversed-phase chromatography behavior toward neutral solutes and yielded a relatively strong EOF. For charged solutes (e.g., dansyl amino acids), nonpolar as well as electrostatic interaction/repulsion with the monoliths were observed in addition to electrophoretic migration. Therefore, for charged solutes, selectivity and migration can be readily manipulated by changing various parameters including the nature of the monolith and the composition of the mobile phase (e.g., pH, ionic strength and organic modifier). Ultrafast separation on the time scale of seconds of 17 different charged and neutral pesticides and metabolites were performed using short capillary columns of 8.5 cm x 100 microm ID.  相似文献

Despite the extensive use of carbon steel in all industrial sectors, particularly in the petroleum industry, its low corrosion resistance is an ongoing problem for these industries. In the current work, two malonyl dihydrazide derivatives, namely 2,2’-malonylbis (N-phenylhydrazine-1-carbothiamide (MBC) and N’1, N’3-bis(-2-hydroxybenzylidene) malonohydrazide (HBM), were examined as inhibitors for the carbon steel corrosion in 1.0 M HCl. Both MBC and HBM were characterised using thin-layer chromatography, elemental analysis, infrared spectroscopy, and nuclear magnetic resonance techniques. The corrosion tests were performed using mass loss measurements, polarisation curves, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. It is obtained from the mass loss studies that the optimal concentration for both inhibitors is 2.0 × 10−5 mol/L, and the inhibition efficiencies reached up to 90.7% and 84.5% for MBC and HBM, respectively. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and potentiodynamic polarisation (PDP) indicate an increased impedance in the presence of both MBC and HBM and mixed-type inhibitors, respectively. Both inhibitors can mitigate corrosion in the range of 298–328 K. Values of free energy changes obtained from the Langmuir model suggest that the inhibitors suppress the corrosion process principally by chemisorption. The computational investigations were conducted to identify the factors connected with the anti-corrosive properties of the examined inhibitors.  相似文献

New imidazoles were easily prepared from 2,3‐diamino‐1,4‐naphthoquinone and stoichiometric quantities of the appropriate aldehydes in dimethyl sulfoxide as a solvent. The reaction proceeded for few hours. The procedure can be generalized to different classes of aldehydes. 2‐Methyl‐1H‐naphtho[2,3‐d]imidazole‐4,9‐dione was also obtained in good yield during refluxing of 2,3‐diaminonaphthoquinone in acetic acid. The effective width concept has been widely used in engineering practice for the computation of ultimate strength of slender members. Many design codes employ this concept in order to compensate for the stiffness reduction in the post-buckling state. Extensive work was done to develop effective width equations for plates under uniform compression, while little attention has been given for plates under non-homogeneous in-plane loading. North American, British and European design codes provide only expressions for the computation of the elastic buckling loads for plates under this load combination, while the effective width calculation is based on the uniformly compressed plates. It will be shown that due to the non-uniformity of the applied load, the stress characteristics in the post-buckling state are different from the uniform compression case, thus requiring special treatments. The paper presents analytical closed form expressions for the computation of effective width of thin plates under non-homogeneous in-plane loading. The longitudinal edges are assumed to be straight and free to translate in the plane of the plate. The proposed expressions are very useful for limit state design of slender I-sections of beam columns or channel sections under this general type of loading. They enable the designers to compute the effective width of the section with the aid of simple formulas that, for design purposes, are suitable for hand-calculation and avoid the cost and effort that any numerical non-linear analysis may require.  相似文献
