Wireless communication in wireless mesh networks (WMNs), like other types of wireless networks, is vulnerable to many malicious activities such as eavesdropping. As one of the fundamental security technologies, pairwise key establishment has been widely studied to secure wireless communication. In this paper, we propose a new matrix-based pairwise key establishment scheme for mesh clients in WMNs. A fact in WMNs is that mesh routers are more powerful than mesh clients, in both communication and storage. Motivated by this fact, expensive operations can be delegated to mesh routers to alleviate the overhead of mesh clients when establishing pairwise keys between them. Compared with other matrix-based schemes, our scheme has significant advantages: any two mesh clients can directly establish pairwise keys while communication and storage costs of mesh clients are significantly reduced. 相似文献

The recognition and suppression of small features from B-rep models play an important role in effectively generating the qualified
mesh for analysis. This paper presents a new algorithm for recognizing small blends automatically for the purpose of mesh
generation. The algorithm first transforms the input B-rep model into an aggregation of faces. Then, each face is judged to
be a blend or not based on matching conditions. At last, the blends with larger physical sizes than a threshold value are
excluded. The innovations lie in the recognition conditions and the unique calculating procedure of the blend physical size.

This paper presents a new mesh conversion template called HEXHOOP, which fully automates a con-version from a hex-dominant
mesh to an all-hex mesh. A HEXHOOP template subdivides a hex/prism/pyramid element into a set of smaller hex elements while
main-taining the topological conformity with neighboring elements. A HEXHOOP template is constructed by assembling sub-templates,
cores and caps. A dicing template for a hex and a prism is constructed by choosing the appropriate combination of a core and caps. A template that dices a pyramid without losing conformity to the adjacent element is derived from a HEXHOOP template. Some
experimental results show that the HEXHOOP templates successfully convert a hex-dominant mesh into an all-hex mesh.

Three-dimensional mesh fusion provides an easy and fast way to create new mesh models from existing ones. We introduce a novel approach of mesh fusion in this paper based on functional blending. Our method has no restriction of disk-like topology or one-ring opening on the meshes to be merged. First of all, sections with boundaries of the under-fusing meshes are converted into implicit representations. An implicit transition surface, which joins the sections together while keeping smoothness at the boundaries, is then created based on cubic Hermite functional blending. Finally, the implicit surface is tessellated to form the resultant mesh. Our scheme is both efficient and simple, and with it users can easily construct interesting, complex 3D models. 相似文献

This paper presents a segmentation algorithm for 3D triangular mesh data. The proposed algorithm uses iterative merging of adjacent triangle pairs based on their orientations. The oversegmented regions are merged again in an iterative region merging process. Finally, the noisy boundaries of each region are refined. The boundaries of each region contain perceptually important geometric information of the entire mesh model.
