In this paper we analyze and implement a second-order-in-time numerical scheme for the three-dimensional phase field crystal (PFC) equation. The numerical scheme was proposed in Hu et al. (2009), with the unique solvability and unconditional energy stability established. However, its convergence analysis remains open. We present a detailed convergence analysis in this article, in which the maximum norm estimate of the numerical solution over grid points plays an essential role. Moreover, we outline the detailed multigrid method to solve the highly nonlinear numerical scheme over a cubic domain, and various three-dimensional numerical results are presented, including the numerical convergence test, complexity test of the multigrid solver and the polycrystal growth simulation.  相似文献

Classical analysis of high‐efficiency power amplifiers (PA) is usually based on ideal voltage and current waveforms limited to optimal states. A transistor's nonlinear I‐V curves are not usually taken into consideration because of their complexity. With a computer‐aided calculation tool developed herein, a direct waveform determination method involving nonlinear I‐V curves is realized. Using this approach and simplified I‐V curves, a PA's extended theoretical performance from the back‐off region to saturation can be investigated. If using practical dc I‐V curves, this method can also give good performance analysis results even at microwave frequency. Numerical examples of different PA settings are given to verify this method. Nonlinear calculations, harmonic balance simulations, and measurements of a class‐E PA operating at 3 GHz are shown with consistent results to prove this waveform determination method.  相似文献

The governing equation for sediment pollutions was derived based on the turbulent diffusion of pollutants in shallow lakes. Coupled with shallow water equations, a depth-averaged 2-D flow and water quality model was developed. By means of the conservation law, a proposed differential equation for the change of sediment pollutants was linked to the 2-D equations. Under the framework of the finite volume method, the Osher approximate Riemann solver was employed to solve the equations. An analytical resolution was used to examine the model capabilities. Simulated results matched the exact solutions especially well. As an example, the simulation of CODMn in the Wuli Lake, a part of the Taihu lake, was conducted, which led to reasonable results. This study provides a new approach and a practical tool for the simulation of flow and water quality in shallow lakes.  相似文献

This paper studies the hydrodynamic performance of a channel type planing trimaran. A numerical simulation is carried out based on a RANS-VOF solver to analyze the hydrodynamic performance of the channel type planing trimaran. A series of hydrodynamic experiments in towing tank were carried out, in which both the running attitude and the resistance performance of the trimaran model were recorded. Some hydrodynamic characteristics of the channel type planning trimaran are shown by the results. Firstly, the resistance declines significantly, with the forward speed across the high-speed resistance peak due to the combined effects of the aerodynamic and hydrodynamic lifts. Secondly, the resistance performance is influenced markedly by the longitudinal positions of centre of the gravity and the displacements. Besides, the pressure distribution on the hull and the two-phase flow in the channel are discussed in the numerical simulations.  相似文献

Haze is an atmospheric phenomenon which diminishes visibility in outdoor images. Algorithms based on dark channel prior (DCP) and haze line prior are found to be effective for dehazing images. These two methods make use of the Laplacian matrix, which is computationally complex, memory intensive and slow, thus making it impossible to use them on high-resolution (large) images. Multiple strategies have been suggested in the literature to speed up dehazing process by avoiding the Laplacian matrix, but these methods compromise on the quality of dehazing. We propose an effective modular method which divides the input image into blocks and processes each block independently. This makes it possible to use our method for dehazing large images retaining Laplacian matting and thus ensuring the output image quality. This division results in the possibility of assuming local values of atmospheric light. We show that this approach results in better dehazing in the local regions. The effectiveness of the proposed modular architecture is tested also on a learning based method. The output of the modular method is compared with those of different state-of-the-art dehazing methods for multiple quality parameters. Toward this, we have created a dataset of hazy natural outdoor images of large size.  相似文献

Ecolego软件已广泛应用于放射性废物处置场的安全评价中,其提供了十余种解法器供用户使用,但不同解法器的性能相差较大,在安全评价中如何选取适宜的解法器给用户造成了困扰。本研究在对各解法器特点进行论述的基础上,利用Ecolego 6.5提供的解法器对瑞典高放废物处置安全评价模型进行测试,结果表明NDF解法器在地质圈及总模型计算耗时最少,BDF及RADAU5解法器分别在近场模型及生物圈模型耗时最少;Rosenbrock与TR-BDF2解法器计算结果稳定。综合计算耗时与求解精度考虑,在类似瑞典高放废物处置场地的安全评价模拟中,推荐使用TR-BDF2解法器。  相似文献

OFF, an open source (free software) code for performing fluid dynamics simulations, is presented. The aim of OFF is to solve, numerically, the unsteady (and steady) compressible Navier–Stokes equations of fluid dynamics by means of finite volume techniques: the research background is mainly focused on high-order (WENO) schemes for multi-fluids, multi-phase flows over complex geometries. To this purpose a highly modular, object-oriented application program interface (API) has been developed. In particular, the concepts of data encapsulation and inheritance available within Fortran language (from standard 2003) have been stressed in order to represent each fluid dynamics “entity” (e.g. the conservative variables of a finite volume, its geometry, etc…) by a single object so that a large variety of computational libraries can be easily (and efficiently) developed upon these objects. We present the key points of FIT approach followed by an illustration of the structure and the properties of the FIT-type matrix. 处理底坡项是计算浅水动力学的重要任务之一。针对传统的底坡项处理技术在大起伏地形上的不足,通过计算底坡项对水深和动量通量的影响,并进行相应的分解,构造了集成底坡项的近似Riemann求解器。该求解器具有强和谐性,即能保持任意流速下的恒定流状态。同时,能保证水深计算值非负,有利于计算的稳定性。考虑了干湿界面中固壁、漫流等情况,适应动边界模拟。算例研究结果表明,该求解器能准确地处理底坡项,保证水深非负,和谐性好,激波捕获能力强,适应干湿界面计算,可模拟复杂混合流态问题,因而具有较好的推广应用价值。  相似文献
