The structural changes within the Silver iodide (AgI) and Copper iodide (CuI) induced by pressure have been investigated using an effective interaction potential. CuI and AgI in their parent zinc blende (ZnS) to rock salt (NaCl) through an intermediate structure have been reported. The calculated values for the phase transition pressures and associate volume collapses are generally in good agreement with measured data.   相似文献

The influence of irradiation by electrons with an energy of 8 MeV, at dose intervals between 1013 and 2×1018el/cm2, on the properties of impurity doped, high-temperature superconductor YBa2Cu3−x M x O y (M = Fe, Ni; x=0; x=0:01) ceramics has been studied. It has been established that, as the irradiation dose is increased, the onset temperature of the transition to the superconducting state (T c on ), and the intergranular weak link coupling temperature between granules (T m J ), exhibit an oscillation around their initial values of approximately about 1–1.5 K. This oscillation indicates that the process of radiation defect formation in HTSC occurs in multiple stages. It was also found that the critical current (J c )decreases with an increase of the irradiation dose, and exhibits a local minimum at a dose of 8×1016el/cm2coinciding with minima for T c on and T m J at this dose. It was found that the introduction of Fe atoms to the ceramic decreases T m J , while introducing Ni atoms decreases both T c on and T m J ; it is suggested that this is a result of Ni substitution of Cu both in Cu2 plane sites and Cu1 chain sites. The introduction of Ni causes a large change in the intergranular critical current density, J c . A critical irradiation dose is obtained (2×1018)after which all HTSC parameters strongly decrease, i. e. the superconductivity of HTSC is destroyed.   相似文献

Geocenter motion (GCM) is one important topic for constructing and maintaining the terrestrial reference frame and its applications. GCM is studied from CHAMP with the multi-step approach in this paper. Geometric orbits of CHAMP in 2001–2006 are precisely determined with the kinematic method only from the satellite-borne GPS zero-difference data. Then a GCM time series is estimated from the precise kinematic orbits based on the theory of satellite dynamics to fit the CHAMP’s real geometric orbits. We compare the series with the geocenter series used in ITRF2005. Then the GCM series are analyzed with Fourier transform and wavelet transformation. The mean motions within 6 years in TX, TY and TZ directions are respectively 0.8 mm, 2.2 mm, and 7.9 mm. The trends of GCM in the three directions are 0.495 mm/a, −0.004 mm/a, and 1.309 mm/a, respectively. The long-term movement (2001–2006) indicates that the crustal figure is changing. The seasonal variations are the main component which may be excitated by the mass redistribution of Earth’s fluid layer, e.g. ocean, atmosphere and continental water. The inter-annual variations are also found in the GCM series measured with CHAMP. We extend the above results to ideals of a reduced ring such that is Noetherian. We prove that a reduced ring is Noetherian if each prime ideal of has a power that is finitely generated. For each with , we establish existence of a -dimensional integral domain having a nonfinitely generated maximal ideal of height such that is -generated.

We review our recent work in the implementation of optical single-sideband (OSSB) modulation and in the application of this modulation format to microwave photonics and optical testing systems. We have developed an enhanced OSSB modulator for wide-band operation, the so-called bidirectional OSSB modulator, and a simplification of this scheme for narrow-band applications. These OSSB modulators are based on the use of a standard single-electrode Mach-Zehnder electro-optic modulator (MZ-EOM) and passive fiber-optic components. In both designs, the OSSB operation is shown to be independent of the MZ-EOM bias. Therefore, the optical modulation depth at the output of the device can be enhanced using minimum transmission biasing to provide suppression of the optical carrier. Finally, we demonstrate the application of OSSB modulators to the improvement of microwave/millimeter-wave subcarrier multiplexing fiber-optic links and to narrow-band fiber radio systems. In addition, we analyzed the feasibility and the limitations of an optical vector network analysis technique based on OSSB modulation that can provide sub-picometer wavelength resolution.  相似文献

Investigations of GaAs-IMPATT diodes as self-pumped frequency doublers are carried out both, theoretically and experimentally. Optimization criterions are specified and first experimental results are presented. 1 mW output power has been achieved in the harmonic mode at 210 GHz.  相似文献
