Effects of ami-25 on liver vessels and tumors on T1-weighted turbo-field-echo images: Implications for tumor characterization

This study was devoted to tumor differentiation in liver MR T1-weighted imaging with superparamagnetic iron oxide (SPIO). Twenty-one patients with 40 liver lesions were studied at 1.5 T. Before and at least 45 minutes after SPIO administration, turbo-field-echo (TFE) T1-weighted, TFE T1 × T2*-weighted (MXT), and fat-suppressed turbo-spin-echo T2-weighted images were acquired. A quantitative analysis was performed blindly. On TFE T1-weighted images, the signal enhancement was ?33% ± 12 for the liver, ?24% ± 2 for adenomas and focal nodular hyperplasia, +60% ± 33 for the hemangiomas; metastases and cyst enhancement were not significant. After SPIO on TFE T1-weighted images, the hemangioma-to-liver signal ratio (149% ± 18) was definitely higher than the mean metastasis-to-liver signal ratio (90% ± 16). This T1-related differentiation ability lacked dramatically on TFE MXT images and, in one case, was reduced on post-SPIO TFE T1-weighted images by a long imaging delay after SPIO administration (2 hours).     

防晒制剂皮肤安全性的实验研究

目的 :探讨同一系列不同SPF(sunprotectionfactor)防晒制剂对皮肤的安全性 ,筛选安全有效的防晒制剂配方。方法 :选用白化豚鼠背部去毛 ,分别涂抹SPF值为 15、2 8、30 +三种防晒制剂 ,以UV光源照射 ,波长为 32 0～4 0 0nm ,强度为 ( 16 8± 2 )mW/cm2 。结果 :三种不同SPF防晒制品对实验动物皮肤各时相点反应积分为 ,SPF15组为0 ;SPF2 8组为 1;SPF30 +组为 3。结论 :三种不同SPF值产品对皮肤的光毒性有一定差异 ,提示SPF值在 2 8以内的防晒制剂皮肤安全性较好 ,SPF30 +的防晒制剂对皮肤有一定光毒刺激反应。     

View ordering for magnetization prepared steady state free precession acquisition: application in contrast-enhanced MR angiography.

Magnetization prepared segmented acquisition requires a view order that maximizes signal contrast during the acquisition of the central portion of k-space. Steady state free precession (SSFP) acquisition further requires a view order that minimizes changes in phase-encoding gradients from one repetition to the next in order to minimize eddy current artifacts. In this article, optimal view ordering schemes satisfying these two requirements are formulated and applied to inversion prepared 3D SSFP contrast-enhanced MR angiography (MRA). Experiments on phantoms and pigs demonstrated improved background suppression and reduced image artifacts.     

Chromatic pattern-reversal electroretinograms (ChPERGs) are spared in multiple system atrophy compared with Parkinson’s disease

Abstract Idiopathic Parkinson’s disease (IPD) patients have abnormal visual evoked potentials (VEPs) and pattern electroretinograms (PERGs), attributed to dopaminergic transmission deficiency in visual pathway, probably the retina. VEP abnormalities are not reported in multiple system atrophy (MSA). The aim of this study was to investigate and compare chromatic (Ch) red-green (R-G) and blue-yellow (B-Y), and luminance yellow-black (Y-Bk) PERGs in patients with MSA and IPD. We investigated 6 MSA patients (mean age: 62±7.4 years) not undergoing any pharmacological treatment, as well as 12 early IPD patients (mean age: 60.1±8.3 years) and 12 age-matched normal observers. ChPERGs were recorded monocularly in response to full-field equiluminant R-G, B-Y and Y-Bk horizontal gratings. In MSA only responses to R-G stimuli showed minimal insignificant changes (slight but not significant amplitude reduction without any significant latency delay); no significant abnormality was detected for B-Y and luminance Y-Bk stimuli. By contrast, in IPD all responses were reduced in amplitude and delayed in latency, above all for B-Y stimuli. Present data indicate that both chromatic and achromatic PERGs are virtually unaffected in MSA, whereas in early IPD they are clearly impaired, suggesting different pathogenic retinal mechanisms and a useful simple tool for distinguishing MSA from IPD.     

经皮血管内栓塞颅内动静脉畸形（附38例治疗效果观察）

经皮血管内采用氰基丙烯酸异丁脂（ＩＢＣＡ）栓塞治疗３８例颅内动静脉畸形（ＡＶＭ）病人。其中８例达到１００％完全栓塞，栓塞面积大于７５％的１０例，大于５０％者１１例；余下９例栓塞面积小于５０％，１９例以出血为首发症状，１１例以癫痫为首发症状，６例神经功能障碍，２例以头痛为主要症状。栓塞术后发生并发症５例，占１３％，无死亡病例。本文讨论了超选插管技术问题、Ａｍｙｔａｌ试验假阴性、导管粘连及正常灌注压突破。     

Seborrhoeic Dermatitis: Treatment with Anti-Mycotic Agents

In order to elucidate the effectiveness of anti-mycotics in treating seborrhoeic dermatitis, an attempt was made to isolate Malassezia from seborrhoeic lesions of patients of seborrhoeic dermatitis. The results revealed that, in male patients, 46/49 cases were positive for Malassezia furfur on the face and 30/48 cases were positive for M. furfur on the scalp. In female patients, 7/13 cases were positive for M. furfur on the face, and 6/17 cases were positive for M. furfur on the scalp. Anti-mycotic agents were excellent in 50% and good in 31% of the spore-positive cases, yielding an overall efficacy rate of 81%. In contrast, the treatment of the face with vehicle alone showed only one excellent result out of 8 cases. Although clinical improvement was rapid on the side treated with a topical corticosteroid in the half-side-test, numerous fungal elements remained. While the improvement with anti-mycotic agents was slower than that with the corticosteroid, clinical improvement became evident by the third week of administration and fungal elements disappeared.     

912抗肿瘤作用机理的初步探讨

作者对912的抗肿瘤作用机理进行了初步探讨。观察到912对癌细胞的移植量以及不同的服用时间均表现出不同的抑瘤效应。将服用912后的小鼠的脾细胞与肿瘤细胞混合后再接种,肿瘤生长明显抑制。912对实验肿瘤动物的外周血白细胞分类、巨噬细胞的吞噬功能和E玫瑰花形成也有一定的影响。     

Flecainide

Flecainide. Flecainide is a Class IC antiarrhythmic agent whose primary electrophysiologic effect is a slowing of conduction in a wide range of cardiac tissues. It is well absorbed and effective in suppressing isolated premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) or nonsustained ventricular arrhythmia but has only a modest efficacy when electrophysiologic testing is used as an endpoint. Us adverse effect on mortality in the CAST trial suggested a propensity to proarrhythmia-a phenomenon to which the Class IC agents appear particularly prone. Despite the applicability of the CAST study only to patients with a prior myocardial infarction, there has been a shift away from flecainide in ventricular arrhythmia, but the low noncardiac side effect profile of the agent allows for its continued use in a wide variety of supraventricular arrhythmias. 新螯合剂对铍中毒的解毒和促排效果

本文报道了新蟹合剂8102,S186对铍中毒动物的解毒和促排作用,并与811,DTPA 进行比较,大、小鼠BeSO_4中毒后,给予不同剂量的螯合剂解毒,结果表明,8102,S186对铍中毒动物的解毒效果均优于后两种,对大鼠的解毒作用8102优于S186,但S186对小鼠的解毒作用优于8102。螫合剂对大鼠BeSO_4染毒的排铍效果实验结果证明:各螫合剂的排铍效果强弱:8102>S186>811>DTPA。8102和S186对大鼠急性铍中毒有明显的排铍效果,若染毒前1h 或延迟4h 给药,仍有显著的排铍作用,但低于即刻用药组的效果。8102对亚急性染毒带铍状态亦有较高促排铍的作用。     

硝基化合物还原、氢化的研究 Ⅳ.用Fe~(3+)催化转移氢化3,3′-二硝基-4,4′-二氨基二苯醚

以Fe~(3+)代替Pd-C和Raney Ni为催化剂、水合肼为供氢体、3,3′-二硝基-4,4′-二氨基二苯醚为受氢体、甲醇为溶剂,进行催化转移氢化反应,产物3,3′,4,4′-四氨基二苯醚(TADPO)质量好,得率可达80%。此外,还对反应温度、时间、以及水合肼、催化剂、溶剂用量,水合肼浓度、催化剂重复使用等影响因素进行了研究,获得了较佳工艺条件。本法制得的TADPO与均苯四甲酸二酐缩聚可制得性能良好的聚眯唑吡咙。
