In this paper, we will prove some uniqueness theorems of meromorphic functions whose derivatives share four distinct small functions. The results in this paper improve those given by R. Nevanlinna, L. Yang, G.D. Qiu, and other authors. An example is provided to show that the results in this paper are best possible.  相似文献

In this paper, we give some conditions to assure that the equation P(X)=Q(Y) has no meromorphic solutions in all K, where P and Q are polynomials over an algebraically closed field K of characteristic zero, complete with respect to a non-Archimedean valuation. In particular, if P and Q satisfy the hypothesis (F) introduced by H. Fujimoto, a necessary and sufficient condition is obtained when deg P=deg Q. The results are presented in terms of parametrization of a projective curve by three entire functions. In this way we also obtain similar results for unbounded analytic functions inside an open disk.   相似文献

We consider the spatially homogeneous Landau equation of kinetic theory, and provide a differential inequality for the Wasserstein distance with quadratic cost between two solutions. We deduce some well-posedness results. The main difficulty is that this equation presents a singularity for small relative velocities. Our uniqueness result is the first one in the important case of soft potentials. Furthermore, it is almost optimal for a class of moderately soft potentials, that is for a moderate singularity. Indeed, in such a case, our result applies for initial conditions with finite mass, energy, and entropy. For the other moderately soft potentials, we assume additionally some moment conditions on the initial data. For very soft potentials, we obtain only a local (in time) well-posedness result, under some integrability conditions. Our proof is probabilistic, and uses a stochastic version of the Landau equation, in the spirit of Tanaka [H. Tanaka, Probabilistic treatment of the Boltzmann equation of Maxwellian molecules, Z. Wahrsch. Verw. Geb. 46 (1) (1978-1979) 67-105].  相似文献

The authors study an inverse problem for a fractional integrodifferential equation, which aims to determine simultaneously two time varying coefficients, a kernel function and a source function, from the additional integral overdetermination condition. By using the fixed point theorem in suitable Sobolev space, the global existence and uniqueness results of this inverse problem are obtained.  相似文献

We consider congestion games on networks with nonatomic users and user-specific costs. We are interested in the uniqueness property defined by Milchtaich (2005) as the uniqueness of equilibrium flows for all assignments of strictly increasing cost functions. He settled the case with two-terminal networks. As a corollary of his result, it is possible to prove that some other networks have the uniqueness property as well by adding common fictitious origin and destination. In the present work, we find a necessary condition for networks with several origin–destination pairs to have the uniqueness property in terms of excluded minors or subgraphs. As a key result, we characterize completely bidirectional rings for which the uniqueness property holds: it holds precisely for nine networks and those obtained from them by elementary operations. For other bidirectional rings, we exhibit affine cost functions yielding to two distinct equilibrium flows. Related results are also proven. For instance, we characterize networks having the uniqueness property for any choice of origin–destination pairs.  相似文献

This paper deals with the linear theory of isotropic micropolar thermoviscoelastic materials. When the dissipation is positive definite, we present two uniqueness theorems. The first one requires the extra assumption that some coupling terms vanish; in this case, the instability of solutions is also proved. When the internal energy and the dissipation are both positive definite, we prove the well-posedness of the problem and the analyticity of the solutions. Exponential decay and impossibility of localization are corollaries of the analyticity.  相似文献

We prove the Strong Maximum Principle (SMP) under suitable assumptions for a class of quasilinear parabolic problems with the p  -Laplacian, p>1p>1, on bounded cylindrical domains of RN+1RN+1,

with nonnegative initial–boundary conditions and λ≤0λ0, and we give some counterexamples to the SMP if some of our assumptions are violated.
