In this paper, we study the positive steady states of a prey-predator model with diffusion throughout and a non-monotone conversion rate under the homogeneous Dirichlet boundary condition. In this paper, minimax principles are explored for elliptic mixed hemivariational–variational inequalities. Under certain conditions, a saddle-point formulation is shown to be equivalent to a mixed hemivariational–variational inequality. While the minimax principle is of independent interest, it is employed in this paper to provide an elementary proof of the solution existence of the mixed hemivariational–variational inequality. In this paper, we derive uniqueness and stability results for surface tensors. Further, we develop two algorithms that reconstruct shape of n-dimensional convex bodies. One algorithm requires knowledge of a finite number of surface tensors, whereas the other algorithm is based on noisy measurements of a finite number of harmonic intrinsic volumes. The derived stability results ensure consistency of the two algorithms. Examples that illustrate the feasibility of the algorithms are presented. 相似文献

In this paper, the authors consider the asymptotic synchronization of a linear dissipative system with multiple feedback dampings. They ?rst show that under the observability of a scalar equation, Kalman’s rank condition is su?cient for the uniqueness of solution to a complex system of elliptic equations with mixedobservations. The authors then establish a general theory on the asymptotic stability and the asymptotic synchronization for the corresponding evolutional system subjected to mixed dampings of various natures. We prove the well-posedness of a general evolution reaction–nonlocal diffusion problem under two sets of assumptions. In the first set, the main hypothesis is the Lipschitz continuity of the range kernel and the bounded variation of the spatial kernel and the initial datum. In the second set of assumptions, we relax the Lipschitz continuity of the range kernel to Hölder continuity, and assume monotonic behavior.
