The transitional isoelectric focusing (IEF) process (the course of pH gradient formation by carrier ampholytes (CAs) and the correlation of the focusing time with CA concentration) were investigated using a whole-column detection capillary isoelectric focusing (CIEF) system. The transitional double-peak phenomenon in IEF was explained as a result of migration of protons from the anodic end and hydroxyl ions from the cathodic end into the separation channel and the higher electric field at both acidic and basic sides of the separation channel. It was observed that focusing times increase logarithmically with CA concentration under a constant applied voltage. The correlation of focusing time with CA concentration was explained by the dependence of the charge-transfer rate on the amount of charged CAs within the separation channel during focusing.  相似文献

The database of the relative retention times (RRTs) of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) reported in literature was used to calculate the retention indices (RIs) of all 209 PCB congeners on temperature programmed capillary column Rtx-5. Calculation of retention indices was based on reference series of seven congeners (PCB IUPAC Nos. 18, 52, 101, 143, 185, 203 and 206) that exhibit linear relative retention time behaviour as a function of chlorine number. The calculated indices were compared to those determined in our laboratory as well as to those obtained by other authors. The proposed indices system was applied for identification individual congeners in mixture of Aroclors 1242:1254:1260, using only reference series of PCBs.  相似文献

通过恒电量脉冲技术测定Q235碳钢在天然海水中腐蚀过程的电化学动力学参数. 分别利用不同极化幅度的恒电量瞬态响应分析获得极化电阻和Tafel斜率, 进而计算腐蚀电流icorr. 并对比了恒电量方法和考虑扩散影响的稳态极化曲线方法的测量结果. 结果表明, 采用恒电量强极化积分算法(CPSI)获得的Tafel斜率与极化曲线方法有很好的相关性. 同时, CPSI测定的阴极Tafel斜率符合氧还原反应的理论Tafel斜率值. 因此, 采用恒电量瞬态响应测量大大减小了浓差极化的影响, 有利于快速测定电荷传递和扩散传质混合控制下腐蚀过程的电化学动力学参数.  相似文献

 为了探寻电流脉冲泄流时,设备的接地是否有效可靠,用FDTD法分析了脉冲泄流时均一土壤、分层土壤及局部改善土壤的电导率对冲击接地阻抗(TGR)的影响。结果表明:大地电导率对冲击接地阻抗的影响很大;对均一土壤,TGR随大地电导率的增大而减小,大地电导率越大,TGR对接地体的埋深越不敏感。对分层土壤,接地体要埋在大地电导率大的土壤层中,且不要靠近交界面;局部改善大地导电性能对降低TGR效果明显,TGR对改善区域的体积非常敏感,而当电导率大于一定值时,大地电导率的再增加,对TGR的影响不明显。  相似文献

Titania (TiO2) photocatalysts, each embedded with one of six metals (Ag, Ce, Co, Fe, Mg, and Mn), were prepared using a simplified ultrasonic process. The characteristics of the prepared metal-embedded TiO2 (metal–TiO2) were determined using transmission electron microscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction spectroscopy, photoluminescence emission spectroscopy, UV–visible spectroscopy, and nitrogen adsorption–desorption. Except for Co–TiO2, the metal–TiO2 photocatalysts showed improved performance for the decomposition of gaseous benzene and toluene, which are two of the most problematic indoor air pollutants that can cause a variety of adverse health symptoms, under daylight lamp irradiation. Photocatalytic activity was greatest for the Mg–TiO2 sample, followed by, in order, the Ag–TiO2, Ce–TiO2, Fe–TiO2, Mn–TiO2, unmodified TiO2, and Co–TiO2 samples. Although Mg–TiO2 showed the least redshift in its light absorption and the highest electron–hole recombination rate among the metal–TiO2 photocatalysts, it yielded the highest photocatalytic activity, likely because of its increased adsorption capacity and anatase composition. The degradation of benzene and toluene over Mg–TiO2 improved as ultrasound treatment amplitude increased from 20 to 37 μm, then decreased gradually as amplitude was further increased to 49 μm. Degradation efficiency also improved as ultrasound operation time increased from 30 to 60 min, then decreased gradually as amplitude was further increased to 90 min. Overall, this process could be utilized to prepare metal–TiO2 photocatalysts with improved performance for the decomposition of gas phase pollutants under daylight lamp irradiation.  相似文献

We report a facile synthesis of Au tetrahedra in high purity and with tunable, well‐controlled sizes via seed‐mediated growth. The success of this synthesis relies on the use of single‐crystal, spherical Au nanocrystals as the seeds and manipulation of the reaction kinetics to induce an unsymmetrical growth pattern for the seeds. In particular, the dropwise addition of a precursor solution with a syringe pump, assisted by cetyltrimethylammonium chloride and bromide at appropriate concentrations, was found to be critical to the formation of Au tetrahedra in high purity. Their sizes could be readily tuned in the range of 30–60 nm by simply varying the amount of precursor added to the reaction solution. The current strategy not only enables the synthesis of Au tetrahedra with tunable and controlled sizes but also provides a facile and versatile approach to reducing the symmetry of nanocrystals made of a face‐centered cubic lattice.  相似文献

It is of engineering importance to accurately predict the surface cooling characteristics in bath quenching of metals and alloys. In this investigation, the surface cooling characteristics in quenching of Wolfson probe are estimated with reasonable accuracy by solving an inverse heat conduction problem. Regularization method is used for smoothening the input temperature measurements at probe center, for superior inversion estimates. The reverse pool-boiling curve is captured on bath quenching characteristic, plotted as cooling velocity versus surface temperature. The prime advantage is the bypassing of convection coefficients, which are uncertain in pool boiling.  相似文献

The automatic optimization of flow control devices is a delicate issue because of the drastic computational time related to unsteady high‐fidelity flow analyses and the possible multimodality of the objective function. Thus, we experiment in this article the use of kriging‐based algorithms to optimize flow control parameters because these methods have shown their efficiency for global optimization at moderate cost. Navier–Stokes simulations, carried out for different control parameters, are used to build iteratively a kriging model. At each step, a statistical analysis is performed to enrich the model with new simulation results by exploring the most promising areas, until optimal flow control parameters are found. This approach is validated and demonstrated on two problems, including comparisons with similar studies: the control of the flow around an oscillatory rotating cylinder and the reduction of the intensity of a shock wave for a transonic airfoil by adding a bump to the airfoil profile. Extending fixed‐grid time integration schemes for unsteady CFD applications to moving grids, while formally preserving their numerical stability and time accuracy properties, is a nontrivial task. A general computational framework for constructing stability‐preserving ALE extensions of Eulerian multistep time integration schemes can be found in the literature. A complementary framework for designing accuracy‐preserving ALE extensions of such schemes is also available. However, the application of neither of these two computational frameworks to a multistage method such as a Runge–Kutta (RK) scheme is straightforward. Yet, the RK methods are an important family of explicit and implicit schemes for the approximation of solutions of ordinary differential equations in general and a popular one in CFD applications. This paper presents a methodology for filling this gap. It also applies it to the design of ALE extensions of fixed‐grid explicit and implicit second‐order time‐accurate RK (RK2) methods. To this end, it presents the discrete geometric conservation law associated with ALE RK2 schemes and a method for enforcing it. It also proves, in the context of the nonlinear scalar conservation law, that satisfying this discrete geometric conservation law is a necessary and sufficient condition for a proposed ALE extension of an RK2 scheme to preserve on moving grids the nonlinear stability properties of its fixed‐grid counterpart. All theoretical findings reported in this paper are illustrated with the ALE solution of inviscid and viscous unsteady, nonlinear flow problems associated with vibrations of the AGARD Wing 445.6.
