The heat kernel on H-type groups

In this paper we present an explicit calculation of the heat kernel for the sub-Laplacian on an H-type group by using irreducible unitary representations of and the heat kernel for the associated Hermite operator.

     

Numerical methods based on multipoint Hermite interpolating polynomials for solving the Cauchy problem for stiff systems of ordinary differential equations

Families of A-, L-, and L(δ)-stable methods are constructed for solving the Cauchy problem for a system of ordinary differential equations (ODEs). The L(δ)-stability of a method with a parameter δ ∈ (0, 1) is defined. The methods are based on the representation of the right-hand sides of an ODE system at the step h in terms of two-or three-point Hermite interpolating polynomials. Comparative results are reported for some test problems. The multipoint Hermite interpolating polynomials are used to derive formulas for evaluating definite integrals. Error estimates are given.

讨论固定设计点部分线性模型Yn,j=xn,jβ g（tn,j） En,jj=1,2,…;n,其中（xn,j,tn,j）∈R×[0,1]是非随机的固定设计点,β是待估计的本知参数,g（.）是定义在[0,1]则上的未知的光滑函数,{En,j}是长程相依的随机误差．本文在一定的正则性条件下得到了部分线性模型中参数β和函数g(.)的估计的弱相合性、均方相合性和收敛速度,同时得到了这些估计的渐近表示和渐近分布．本文所得到的结果与独立和弱相依情形下的结果有很大的差别．     

The convolution theorem and the Franck–Condon integral

The convolution theorem is used to evaluate the Franck–Condon integral. It is shown that this integral becomes the matrix element between two “squeezed” states. This enables one to evaluate the integral by using boson operators. In addition, a general method is developed to obtain integrals involving Hermite polynomials with a displaced argument. In particular, the two‐center matrix element _g〈m|f(x_e)|n〉_e, is obtained, where f(x_e)=exp(Dx+Fx_e). ©1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Int J Quant Chem 75: 11–15, 1999     

一种高精度的修正Hermite-ENO格式

设计一种基于三单元具有六阶精度的修正Hermite-ENO格式（CHENO）,求解一维双曲守恒律问题.CHENO格式利用有限体积法进行空间离散,在空间层上,使用ENO格式中的Newton差商法自适应选择模板.在重构半节点处的函数值及其一阶导数值时,利用Taylor展开给出修正Hermite插值使其提高到六阶精度,并设计了间断识别法与相应的处理方法以抑制间断处的虚假振荡;在时间层上采用三阶TVD Runge-Kutta法进行函数值及一阶导数值的推进.其主要优点是在达到高阶精度的同时具有紧致性.数值实验表明对一维双曲守恒律问题的求解达到了理论分析结果,是有效可行的.
