The mechanism of the suppression of vapor explosions by adding inversely soluble polymers in water is studied. Vapor explosion experiments and quench experiment are conducted using a silver test piece. Polymetric solution (polyethylene oxide), of concentrations from 0 to 500 wppm, whose normalized viscosity (by water) varies from 1.00 to 2.00, is used. No vapor explosion is observed in the aqueous polymer solution at a concentration higher than 200 wppm. Quench experiments using the silver test piece submerged in the polymer solution and water are performed in order to examine the stability of film boiling. The suppression of the vapor film collapse is attributed to the precipitation of polyethylene as a gel around the vapor film. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 大港油田官109-1断块稠油油藏的油井由于井筒、近井地带发生原油有机沉积,储层原油流动性差,采用多种方法都不能正常生产。为此研制了一种碱性解堵液,用于油井化学吞吐。该解堵液为复配碱和抗硬剂等添加剂的10%两性木质素表面活性剂溶液,能使玻璃片表面由亲油变强亲水,在石英上的接触角为6°(稀释至1/2和1/4浓度时为11°和12°),与羊大站原油间的界面张力为1.75×10-3~3.18×10-3mN/m。该解堵液与黏度1~50 Pa.s的不同区块稠油按体积比1∶1混合形成的乳状液,60℃、175 s-1黏度为2~6 mPa.s,在配液水矿化度高达6000mg/L以上或钙镁离子浓度高达250 mg/L时,该解堵液仍能保持对稠油的乳化降黏能力。该解堵液从实验岩心中驱出的原油量比地层水多75%,驱出液为乳状液。通过一个井例介绍了化学吞吐工艺:先用一种降黏解堵液对油井进行预处理,清洗油管、炮眼及近井地带,再注入碱性解堵液(该井例中为500 m3),注入时间约15小时,然后开井生产。2000年2月至2002年6月在16口新投产井实施化学吞吐(第一轮次),15口井有效,其中2口井先后转注水,其余13口井到2005年底仍继续产油。图1表6参5。 相似文献

Pressure‐sensitive adhesives (PSAs) have long been a problem as sticky contaminants for paper recycling mills. The main problem associated with such stickies is that the PSAs in the waste papers deposit on the felts, press rolls, and drying cylinders of paper machines, and this creates problems with paper formation, reducing the paper quality and paper machine runnability. The annual cost of stickies to the U.S. paper industry is estimated to be about $600,000,000–650,000,000. To solve this problem, a series of cationic water‐soluble/dispersible PSAs have been synthesized by the free‐radical solution polymerization of butyl acrylate and [3‐(methacryloylamino)propyl]trimethylammonium chloride in ethanol. The PSA end‐use properties, repulpability in paper recycling, and the effects on the properties of recycled paper products have been studied. The cationic PSAs can be dissolved or dispersed in water if the cationic charge density in the PSA backbone is controlled, and so they do not deposit as stickies during recycling and papermaking processes. Because the PSAs are cationically charged, they can easily be removed from the papermaking system by adsorption onto the negatively charged fibers and fine surfaces. Before 12 months of age, infants have difficulties coordinating and sequencing their movements to retrieve an object concealed in a box. This study examined (a) whether young infants can discover effective retrieval solutions and consolidate movement coordination earlier if exposed regularly to such a task and (b) whether different environments, indexed by box transparency, would impact the rate of learning and time of discovery of these solutions. Infants (N=12) were presented with an object retrieval task every week from 6 1/2 months of age until they were able to retrieve the toy from the box using coordinated two-handed patterns for 3 weeks. To reach that criterion, infants tested with an opaque box took 2 1/2 months and infants tested with a semitransparent box took 1 1/2 months. Both groups outperformed age-matched controls who received a one-time exposure to the task. To confirm the reliability of the theory of phase equibria of multicomponent polymer 1/multicomponent polymer 2 systems (i.e. quasi-binary systems) and the method of computer experiment based on this theory (Brit. Polym. J., 23 (1990)285; 23 (1990)299; Polym. Int., 29 (1992)219), could point curves (CPC), two-phase volume ratios ( R ) and critical solution points (CSP) have been determined experimentally for the quasi-binary mixtures of poly(ethylene oxide) (M¯w = 647, M¯w/M¯n = 1.15; M¯w and M¯n, the weight-average and numberaverage molecular weights, respectively) and poly(propylene oxide) (M¯w = 2028, M¯w/M¯n = 1.08; and Mw = 2987, Mw/Mn = 1.13). The hydroxyl end groups of both polymers were methoxylated in advance by the Cooper & Booth method (Polymer, 18 (1977)164). The thermodynamic interaction parameter between both polymers, χ12, and the concentration dependence parameters for the above quasi-binary systems were determined by the method proposed in a previous paper (Brit. Polym. J., 23 (1990)299). CPC, R and CSP values calculated on the basis of the theory are in good agreement with the values determined experimentally. 相似文献
