Integrated Automation System for Rare Earth Countercurrent Extraction Process

Lower automation level in industrial rare-earth extraction processes results in high production cost, inconsistent product quality and great consumption of resources in China. An integrated automation system for extraction process of rare earth is proposed to realize optimal product indices, such as product purity, recycle rate and output. The optimal control strategy for output component, structure and function of the two-gradcd integrated automation system composed of the process management grade and the process control grade were discussed. This system is successfully applied to a HAB yttrium extraction production process and was found to provide optimal control, optimal operation, ontimal management and remarkable benefits.     

YAG：Ce Phosphors for WLED via Nano-Pesudoboehmite Sol-Gel Route

The sub-micron sized YAG ： Ce phosphors were synthesized via a modified sol-gel method by peptizing nano-pesudoboehmite particulate. It is found that YAG phase from the dried gel powders appears at 1000 ℃ then the pure YAG phase exists at a relatively lower sintering temperature of 1400 ℃. The smaller sizes of phosphors in the ranges of 1 - 3 μm are obtained due to the contribution of seeding effects of nano-sized alumina particles to strengthen each step of the processes. Both the excitation and emission spectra of photoluminescence of the phosphor obtained at 1400 ℃ meet well with the spectroscopic requirements of the WLED phosphors.     

Luminescence Characterization of Mg Doped Y2O2S:Ti Long Afterglow Phosphor

Y1.94-xMgxO2S:0.06Ti (0≤x≤0.10) phosphors with long afterglow were synthesized by solid state reaction route. The photoluminescence spectra, decay curves, thermoluminescent spectra and chromaticity coordinate curves were investigated. The results show that the luminescence intensity of Y1.94-xMgxO2S:0.06Ti (0≤x≤0.10) phosphors decrease gradually with increasing Mg2 ion content, and the shape of luminescence spectra and chromaticity coordinate change as well. Furthermore, two thermoluminescent peaks in single Ti-doped Y2O2S sample are found at 91.8 and 221.5 ℃, respectively. Nevertheless, significant different spectra were found for the Mg, Ti co-doped Y2O2S samples that three thermoluminescence peaks appear at 52.3, 141.7 and 226.8 ℃, respectively. These results indicate that the co-doped Mg ion changes the inherent trap depth of single Ti-doped Y2O2S:Ti phosphor, and induces simultaneously a new trap level in the Y1.94-xMgxO2S:0.06Ti phosphor. Based on the analysis of thermoluminescent spectra, photoluminescent spectra, decay curve and crystal structure defect, it was proposed that the varied structure defect and introduced new trap level by the doped Mg2 ions should be responsible for reducing luminescence intensity and varying color in the Y1.94-xMgxO2S:0.06Ti phosphor.     

高温稀土永磁Sm2(Co,Cu,Fe,Zr)17 的制备和性能

制备了高温稀土永磁材料Sm(Coba1Fe0．26Cu0．05Zr0．026)7．0，研究了磁性能与工艺条件的关系．结果表明：提高烧结温度可使材料的Br和(BH)max增大，但是使Hci降低；适当提高真空预烧温度，可使材料在较低烧结温度下致密化，具有较高的Hci和(BH)max和温度稳定性．真空预烧温度过高使性能的急剧降低，其主要原因是Sm的析出．在最佳工艺条件下材料的磁性能参数分别为：Br1．08T3Hci2286kA／m，Hcb932kA／m，(BH)max220．8kJ／m^3；β20-200℃为-0．19％／℃．     

Nd3+ Doped Silicate Glass Photonic Crystal Fiber with Random Hole Distributions

The fabrication of one kind of large core area Nd3 doped silicate glass photonic crystal fiber, and demonstration of the fiber's waveguidence properties were reported. This fiber owns a random air hole distribution in the cladding. The measured minimum loss of this kind of fiber is 10 dB·m-1 at 660 nm. These fibers can sustain only a single mode at least over wavelength ranging from 660 nm to 980 nm.     

Mesomorphism of Lanthanide(Ⅲ) 4-Hexyloxybenzoates

The 4-alkoxybenzoic acids are well-known liquid crystals showing several mesophases(nematic,smectic C phase or both)depending on the alkoxy chain length and whereby the rigid core of the mesogen is formed by intermolecular hydrogen bonds.In this paper it is shown that the thermal behaviour of lanthanide salts of 4-hexyloxybenzoic acids depends on the lanthanide ion(Ln=La,Pr,Nd,Sm,Eu).The lanthanum(Ⅲ)and praseodymium(Ⅲ)4-hexyloxybenzoates exhibit a smectic A mesophase.No mesophase is found for the corresponding compounds of heavier lanthanides.The thermal properties of the lanthanide(Ⅲ)4-hexyloxybenzoates were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),polarising thermo-optical microscopy and synchrotron X-ray radiation.     

铒氨基酸固态配合物的光声光谱研究

合成了Er(Gly)3Cl3·3H2O、Er(Ala)3Cl3·3H2O和Er(Gly)3Phen·3H2O二元及三元固态配合物微晶粉末,在300nm～800nm范围内测定并解释了其光声光谱。通过对光声相对强度计算得到铒氨基酸固态配合物的光声支量,讨论了氨基酸配体对中心稀土离子铒f-f跃迁的微扰作用。结合Er(Ala)3Cl3·3H2O配合物的光声光谱和吸收光谱研究了其荧光性质及弛豫模型。     

CO毒化AB5型合金分形特征研究

研究了三种贮氢合金 L a Ni5、L a Ni4 .7Al0 .3、Ml Ni4 .5Al0 .5被 10 0× 10 - 6 CO毒化后的分形特征 ,求出这三种合金在含 10 0× 10 - 6 CO的氢中循环 ,分维分别为 0 .2 5 4 7、0 .170 9、0 .0 72 5。可以较好的解释合金被毒化的宏观现象。     

Nanoscale Hybrid Langmuir－Blodgett Films Based on Cerium－Substituted Heteropolymolybdate and Polyquinoline

Nanoscale hybrid organic/inorganic Langmuir-Blodgett films of cerium-substituted heteropolymolybdates (CeHPMo) and π-conjugated macromolecule poly(1,2-dihydro-2,2,4-trimethyl) quinoline (PQ) were obtained with auxiliary film-forming material stearic acid(SA) or octadecylamine(ODA). The surface pressure-area isotherms illuminate the formation of the hybrid LB films of PQ/ODA/Ce-HPMo and PQ/SA/Ce-HPMo. The different film-forming mechanism was discussed when the different auxiliary film-forming materials were used in the system. The absorption spectra indicate that the molecules of PQ and Ce-HPMo are incorporated into the LB films. Tapping-mode AFM image reveals a granular surface texture of nanosized Ce-substituted heteropolymolybdate. STM image shows that the conductivity is greatly improved after Ce-substituted heteropolymolybdates are incorporated in the films.     

Effect of Rare Earth Elements on Thermal Fatigue Property of Low Chromium Semi-Steel

The effect of rare earth elements on eutectic carbide‘s morphology of low chromium semi-steel in as-cast state and after heat treatment was investigated, and accordingly, the thermal fatigue property of this material was studied. The results show that RE can improve the eutectic carbide‘s morphology, inhibit the formation and propagation of thermal fatigue cracks, therefore, promote the thermal fatigue property, which is more noticeable in case of the RE modification in combination with heat treatment. The optimal thermal fatigue property can be obtained when treated with 0.2% RE modification as well as normalization at 950℃ for 3h.
