Gelation Properties of Ovalbumin as Affected by Fatty Acid Salts

The physicochemical properties of heat-induced ovalbumin (OVA) gels containing fatty acid salts (FAS) were investigated. Water-holding ability and transparency markedly increased in the presence of sodium caprate or sodium laurate. At 9% of the protein concentration transparent and hard gels formed; at 7%, transparent and soft gels formed. Scanning electron microscopy showed that the transparent gels had a more homogeneous structure than turbid gels without FAS. Differential scanning calorimetry indicated that denaturation temperature of OVA was decreased and the peaks became broader after addition of FAS.

Stabilization of bioethanol recovery with silicone rubber‐coated ethanol‐permselective silicalite membranes by controlling the pH of acidic feed solution

In order to produce highly concentrated bioethanol by pervaporation using an ethanol‐permselective silicalite membrane, techniques to suppress adsorption of succinic acid, which is a chief by‐product of ethanol fermentation and causes the deterioration in pervaporation performance, onto the silicalite crystals was investigated. The amount adsorbed increased as the pH of the aqueous succinic acid solution decreased. The pervaporation performance also decreased with decreasing pH when the ternary mixtures of ethanol/water/succinic acid were separated. Using silicalite membranes individually coated with two types of silicone rubber, pervaporation performance was significantly improved in the pH range of 5 to 7, when compared with that of non‐coated silicalite membranes in ternary mixtures of ethanol/water/succinic acid. Moreover, when using a silicalite membrane double‐coated with the two types of silicone rubber, pervaporation performance was stabilized at lower pH values. In the separation of bioethanol by pervaporation using the double‐coated silicalite membrane, removal of accumulated substances having an ultraviolet absorption maximum at approximately 260 nm from the fermentation broth proved to be vital for efficient pervaporation. Corroles as receptors in liquid membrane electrodes and their potentiometric response towards salicylic acid

Here, we report on the application of corroles as analytically active compounds in liquid membrane electrodes (ISE) that are sensitive towards salicylic acid and salicylate.The potentiometric signals generated by corrole-incorporated ISEs strongly depend on the pH of the aqueous sample solution and the membrane composition, such as the presence of lipophilic sites. Corrole incorporating ISEs are characterised by a low detection limit (4.0 × 10⁻⁵ M) and a wide linear range (4.0 × 10⁻⁵ to 5.3 × 10⁻³ M). Also, they are free from interference versus other organic anions.The mechanism of the generation of the potentiometric signals of corrole incorporating ISEs in the presence of salicylate anion, as well salicylic acid, will be discussed.     

酸催化二甘醇脱水环化反应研究

以硫酸、磷钨酸、ZRP-5分子筛为催化剂,研究了二甘醇(DEG)脱水环化的反应规律。结果表明,DEG发生分子内脱水环化反应,生成1,4-二氧六环(DOX),DEG分子间脱水不仅可以生成四甘醇、六甘醇等,同时可生成三甘醇、五甘醇等一系列的多甘醇(PEG)。不仅DEG可以脱水环化生成DOX,在反应中生成的PEG也同样可以进行生成DOX的反应。对于二甘醇(DEG)脱水环化反应,硫酸是性能优良的催化剂,反应可以在较低的温度下进行,馏出产物中DOX选择性大于95％。     

硫铁矿沸腾炉内蒸发管组防磨技术的探讨

为减少磨损,沸腾炉内蒸发管采用加焊半圆形钢板防磨.探讨了沸腾炉内蒸发管加焊半圆形钢板的防磨机理.实际使用情况表明,加焊半圆形钢板防磨大大降低了维修费用,显著提高了防磨效果.     

反应精馏法制备高纯度醋酸甲酯

在中试反应精馏塔中以浓硫酸为催化剂进行了醋酸与甲醇反应制备醋酸甲酯的试验。反应精馏塔的精馏段为填料,反应段为立体催化精馏塔板,采用连续操作,考察了回流比、甲醇进料位置、停留时间、催化剂用量对反应精馏的影响。试验结果表明,当回流比为1.2、甲醇进料位置为第11～15块塔板、停留时间为2.2～2.5h、催化剂与醋酸的质量比为1.07∶100时,塔顶醋酸甲酯的质量分数达到99.50%以上,醋酸的转化率达到99.85%以上。     

Photocatalytic degradation of methyl orange using heteropolytungstic acid-encapsulated TiSBA-15

Heteropolyphosphotungstic acid (H₃PW₁₂O₄₀) (HPA)-encapsulated titanium-supported SBA15 nanoporous materials (HPA-TiSBA-15) were synthesized as a new photocatalyst, and they were characterized by FT-IR and ³¹P NMR MAS spectroscopic methods. Their photocatalytic effects on degradation of methyl orange in water were investigated under natural conditions, and it was found that a 4-fold increase in the photodegradation rate is observed in the presence of HPA-TiSBA-15 as compared to the rate observed in the presence of titanium-supported SBA15 nanoporous materials (TiSBA-15) without HPA.     

利用高酸值餐饮废油脂制备生物柴油

以高酸值餐饮废油脂为原料,在酯化反应后再经两步酯交换反应制备生物柴油。在酯化反应中添加吸水剂可降低油脂的酸值,经一次酯化反应即可将油脂的酸值降至2m g/g左右,满足酯交换反应的要求。考察了酯化反应中吸水剂的添加方式、种类及其用量对酯化反应的影响,以及酯交换催化剂的种类及用量对脂肪酸甲酯(FAME)收率和产物组成的影响。实验结果表明,以凹凸棒土为吸水剂(用量为餐饮废油脂中游离脂肪酸质量的3%),且在酯化反应30m in时加入,酯化效果较好;以质量比为1∶1的NaOH和KOH混合物为催化剂进行两步酯交换反应时,催化剂的最佳用量依次为1.00%和0.75%(质量分数,基于油脂的质量),FAME收率最高达到96.33%。     

磷铝杂原子固体酸催化剂催化合成乙酸异丙酯

以丙烯和乙酸为原料 ,自制的磷铝杂原子固体酸作催化剂催化合成了乙酸异丙酯 ,考察了反应温度、反应压力、反应空速 (LHSV)及催化剂用量对酯化反应的影响 ,同时考察了固体酸催化剂的重复使用性。确定了最佳合成条件 :反应压力 1 5MPa,反应温度 1 60℃ ,反应空速2 0h-1,催化剂用量 2 0g。在此条件下 ,酯化率可达 91 5 % ,乙酸异丙酯选择性达 99 0 % ,且催化剂的重复使用性良好。
