外资企业消防设计的几点体会

分析国内规范与国外规范的几处不同。介绍了在设计外商投资的项目时应注意的问题和国外消防设计方面的一些习惯做法。探讨一条既满足中国规范又满足国外要求的设计方法。     

中国经济增长要素分析：1978～2012

改革开放三十年来,物质资本要素是中国经济主要的增长动力,并且重要性逐渐上升;人力资本增长动力在1982年左右达到峰值,此后不断下降;劳动力增长动力在1988年达到峰值,此后也不断下降;全要素生产率呈倒“w”型增长轨迹,三次TFP的快速增长都与中国几次重要的经济制度变迁有着重要联系。在1978年～2012年间,经济体制改革、对外开放、基础设施建设、研发对TFP的解释存在变动,不同时期对TFP的解释力度不同。本文预测2013年～2020年,物质资本、人力资本、TFP增长动力将有所下降,经济潜在增长率将会下降到6％～8％之间。在未来十年,中国潜在经济增长速度将会下滑。     

Capital injections with negative surplus and delays: models and analysis

This work develops a new model to deal with the scenario that some companies can still run business even the surplus falls below zero temporarily. With such a scenario in mind, we allow the surplus process to continue in this negative-surplus period, during which capital injections will be ordered to assist in the stabilization of financial structure, until the financial status becomes severe enough to file bankruptcy. The capital injections will be modeled as impulse controls. By introducing the capital injections with time delays, optimal dividend payment and capital injection policies are considered. Using the dynamic programming approach, the value function obeys a quasi-variational inequality. With delays in capital injections, the company will be exposed to the risk of bankruptcy during the delay period. In addition, the optimal dividend payment and capital injection strategies should balance the expected cost of the possible capital injections and the time value of the delay periods. This gives rise to a stochastic control problem with mixed singular and delayed impulse controls. Under general assumptions, the lower capital injection barrier is determined, where bankruptcy occurs. The closed-form solution to the value function and corresponding optimal policies are obtained.

基于非正态分布收益率的限制卖空投资组合模型及其优化仿真

针对收益率服从非正态分布的风险资产建立限制卖空的均值-VaR投资组合模型,与马克维兹的均值-方差投资组合模型及收益率服从正态分布的均值-VaR投资组合模型进行比较分析。应用实例显示均值-VaR投资组合模型的投资效果优于均值-方差投资组合模型,基于非正态分布收益率的均值-VaR模型的投资效果略优于基于正态分布收益率的均值-VaR模型。     

The capital budgeting evaluation practices (2004) of building contractors in Hong Kong

This paper reports the investigation results of capital budgeting evaluation practices of Hong Kong building contractors. The survey aims to identify the popularity of various techniques for capital budgeting evaluation and to measure the changes of the practices longitudinally by comparing the results of the current study (2004) with those of the similar surveys conducted in 1994 and 1999. The current survey results revealed that the “formal financial evaluation” was the most popular technique for capital budget evaluation. The “payback period” was the mostly used investment appraisal technique. For risk appraisal techniques, “shortening payback period” occupied the first position. The “planning programming” remained as the most popular management science technique. Moreover, a comparison of the practices of large contracting firms was carried out to view the changes over the last 10 years. The results showed that the practice of capital budget evaluation was emphasized. The popularity of employing investment appraisal and risk analysis techniques was dropping. In addition, the capital budgeting evaluation techniques examined were fitted into a discriminant function analysis (DFA), which allowed contracting firms to be classified in accordance with their predominant characteristics in the practices. The classification result was 89.1% of all cases were correctly classified.

Regional Variations In Housing And Wealth Accumulation In New Zealand

This paper reviews and empirically examines the debate about the role of housing in wealth generation and wealth distribution in New Zealand over the past twenty five years. The article is structured around four parts. The first explores the theoretical debate regarding housing wealth accumulation and situates the paper within this debate as a contribution to the exploration of regional housing price shifts and the links to economic and social restructuring. The second part addresses the methodological issues in the analysis of financial gains from housing. The third reviews previous New Zealand empirical work covering the period from 1970–1988 to provide a background for the fourth section which examines changes over the period from 1990–94. The data is interpreted in the paper against the background of the economic and social restructuring of the regions which has taken place since 1970.
