Concentrations of Cr, Co, Ni, Cu, Ga, Ge, As, Sb, W, Re, Ir, Pt and Au of two ungrouped iron meteorites, Grove Mountains (GRV) 98003 from Antarctica and Ujimqin, were measured using instrumental neutron activation analysis. According to the bulk chemistry, GRV 98003 is classified as a member of ⅠAB group, and Ujimqin as a unique one of ⅠAB iron meteorite complex. The elemental abundance pattern and correlation between elements (e. g. Ni-Au, Co-Au, As-Au, W- Au, Cu-Au, Sb-Au) of GRV 98003 are similar with those of NAW 468 (ⅠAB), but significantly depleted in refractory siderophile elements ( Re, It) and moderate volatile elements (Ca, Ge) relative to the latter. In addition, we reclassify Nantan (ⅢCD) as a member of ⅠAB main group (MG) and Yongning (ⅠA) as a unique iron meteorite related with IAB iron meteorite complex.  相似文献

We report on an improved method for determining trace element abundances in seawater and other natural waters. The analytical procedure involves co‐precipitation on iron hydroxides after addition of a Tm spike, and measurement by inductively coupled plasma‐sector field mass spectrometry (ICP‐SFMS). The validity of the method was assessed through a series of co‐precipitation experiments, using ultra‐diluted solutions of a certified rock reference material (BIR‐1). Results obtained for four natural water reference materials (NASS‐5, CASS‐4, SLEW‐3, SLRS‐4) are in agreement with published working values for rare earth elements, yttrium, vanadium and, when available, for hafnium, zirconium, thorium and scandium. A set of proposed values with uncertainties typically better than 8% RSD is proposed for Hf, Zr and Th.  相似文献

以青藏高原西南部塔若错的34cm浅湖芯为研究对象,对其沉积物样品进行总有机碳、无机碳、总氮、微量元素、正构烷烃含量及碳氮比等多项指标的分析测定。采用过剩210 Pb和137 Cs计年法对该湖芯进行了定年和沉积速率研究,获得了近300年的连续湖泊沉积环境序列。在明确了各指标气候环境指示意义的前提下,综合对比分析湖芯中各项气候环境指标,并结合定年结果重建了塔若错湖区近300年来的气候环境变化。结果表明:塔若错湖区气候环境变化可分为3个明显阶段:早期为1705~1778年,该地区气候环境温暖湿润,湖区植被广泛发育;中期为1778~1860年,湖区处于小冰期末次阶段,气候环境寒冷而湿润,植被发育受阻;后期为1860年至今,为小冰期结束后偏暖干化时期。其中,后期又可分为3个亚阶段:1860~1924年,湖区气候环境稍暖且干旱,植被稍有发育;1924~1969年,湖区气候环境呈现偏冷干特点,植被发育暂缓;1969年至今,湖区气候回暖,环境干旱化有所缓解,植被开始逐渐发育。在气候冷暖变化上,该湖芯记录与古里雅冰芯记录和青海湖湖泊沉积记录都有较好的可对比性,只是在起讫年代上存在一些差异。  相似文献

The semi-arid Sahel regions of West Africa rely heavily on groundwater from shallow to moderately deep(100 m b.g.l.)crystalline bedrock aquifers for drinking water production.Groundwater quality may be affected by high geogenic arsenic(As)concentrations(10μg/L)stemming from the oxidation of sulphide minerals(pyrite,arsenopyrite)in mineralised zones.These aquifers are still little investigated,especially concerning groundwater residence times and the influence of the annual monsoon season on groundwater chemistry.To gain insights on the temporal aspects of As contamination,we have used isotope tracers(noble gases,~3H,stable water isotopes(~2 H,~(18)O))and performed hydrochemical analyses on groundwater abstracted from tube wells and dug wells in a small study area in southwestern Burkina Faso.Results revealed a great variability in groundwater properties(e.g.redox conditions,As concentrations,water level,residence time)over spatial scales of only a few hundred metres,characteristic of the highly heterogeneous fractured underground.Elevated As levels are found in oxic groundwater of circum-neutral pH and show little relation with any of the measured parameters.Arsenic concentrations are relatively stable over the course of the year,with little effect seen by the monsoon.Groundwater residence time does not seem to have an influence on As concentrations,as elevated As can be found both in groundwater with short(50 a)and long(10~3 a)residence times as indicated by ~3He/~4He ratios spanning three orders of magnitude.These results support the hypothesis that the proximity to mineralised zones is the most crucial factor controlling As concentrations in the observed redox/pH conditions.The existence of very old water portions with residence times10~3 years already at depths of50 m b.g.l.is a new finding for the shallow fractured bedrock aquifers of Burkina Faso,suggesting that overexploitation of these relatively low-yielding aquifers may be an issue in the future.  相似文献

早三叠世时期频繁的火山事件是导致全球性气候和海洋环境异常的主要原因,前人对早三叠世重要界线时期的火山事件地层开展了大量研究,但对典型界线时期以外的其他火山事件地层却鲜有报道。本文以上扬子西南普宜地区嘉陵江组两件沉凝灰岩为研究对象开展了岩石学、岩相学、锆石年代学及微量元素组合特征等方面的研究。沉凝灰岩样品具有典型岩浆锆石的内部结构和微量元素组合特征,两组沉凝灰岩锆石谐和年龄分别为250. 6±0. 6 Ma和249. 1±0. 8 Ma,代表了母岩岩浆中新生锆石的结晶年龄。沉凝灰岩母岩主要以酸性花岗岩类为主,次为中性正长岩类和少量基性岩类。嘉陵江组沉凝灰岩与二叠系—三叠系界线(PTB)凝灰岩及Olenekian—Anisian界线(OAB)绿豆岩具有同源性,形成于活动大陆边缘的碰撞造山环境,源区很可能位于中越边境地区长山构造岩浆带—十万大山火山带,且在陆壳碰撞过程中源区地壳处于持续的增厚阶段,下地壳增厚部位的部分熔融形成补给岩浆上涌并使早期结晶矿物发生了部分熔蚀。本文嘉陵江组沉凝灰岩样品250. 6±0. 6 Ma年龄对应着Smithian—Spathian界线时期的全球性降温及短期生物复苏事件;249. 1±0. 8 Ma年龄的样品对应Spathian亚阶中期极端高温气候和生物再次灭绝事件,再次证明了早三叠世时期频繁的火山活动是导致气候改变和生物周而复始新生和灭绝的重要因素。其原因可能是阳伞效应和温室效应等因素综合反馈的结果,但具体证据仍需要将来更多学科综合研究成果的约束。  相似文献

内蒙古半干旱草原土壤-植被-大气相互作用综合研究   总被引:19,自引:1,他引:19  
为深化对中纬度半干旱草原气候-生态相互作用过程、机制及其对全球变化的响应与贡献的认识,一项名为“内蒙古半干旱草原土壤-植被-大气相互作用(IMGRASS)”的基金重大项目于1997~2001年在内蒙古锡林郭勒草原执行。IMGRASS计划在1998年草原生长季节在所选定的以典型草原为主,包括草甸草原、稀疏沙地草原等在内的中尺度试验区开展了多点、多要素的综合观测。观测内容包括土壤、植被、大气的相关要素和发生于地-气界面的潜热、感热通量,还包括N2O,CH4,CO2等微量气体交换量、辐射与降水分布。除1998年中尺度观测试验外,1999~2001年在代表性地点进行了微量气体收支、遥感和沙尘天气相关的专项观测,结合草原站已进行的长期监测资料,分析气候-生态长期相互作用,特别是人类活动干预的影响。在分析观测结果的基础上,对该地区的气候-生态相互作用进行了数值模拟研究。文章简要介绍IMGRASS计划目标和初步成果,包括:计划目标与实验区背景;半干旱草原不同地表陆气相互作用特征;浑善达克沙地及其沙尘气溶胶特征;半干旱草原温室气体收支与碳循环测量分析;人类活动干预下半干旱草原生态退化与恢复演替规律;半干旱草原的遥感测量。  相似文献

Hydrocarbon gases with unconventional carbon isotopic signatures were observed in the Solimões sedimentary basin in north-west Brazil. Siderite contents measured with a new Rock-Eval methodology in the drill-cuttings samples of the Famenian source rock were found to decrease with the increase of gas maturity and with the occurrence of the gas isotopic anomalies. Triassic diabase intrusions induced heating of the source rock, which likely resulted in the gradual oxidative dissolution of siderite as suggested by the observation of etch pits on the siderite surfaces. It is proposed that ferrous iron from the carbonate was involved in a redox reaction with water producing ferric iron and H2, then reducing CO2 and yielding an inverse correlation between siderite content and gas maturity. Alternatively, hydrogenation of highly mature kerogen by H2 derived from siderite could explain the production of 13C-rich CH4. Mass balance considerations suggest that these mechanisms may account for a significant fraction of the hydrocarbon gases generated from the Famenian source rock in the Solimões basin.  相似文献

The Miocene–Quaternary Jemez Mountains volcanic field(JMVF), the site of the Valles caldera, lies at the intersectionof the Jemez lineament, a Proterozoic suture, and the CenozoicRio Grande rift. Parental magmas are of two types: K-depletedsilica-undersaturated, derived from the partial melting of lithosphericmantle with residual amphibole, and tholeiitic, derived fromeither asthenospheric or lithospheric mantle. Variability insilica-undersaturated basalts reflects contributions of meltsderived from lherzolitic and pyroxenitic mantle, representingheterogeneous lithosphere associated with the suture. The Kdepletion is inherited by fractionated, crustally contaminatedderivatives (hawaiites and mugearites), leading to distinctiveincompatible trace element signatures, with Th/(Nb,Ta) and La/(Nb,Ta)greater than, but K/(Nb,Ta) similar to, Bulk Silicate Earth.These compositions dominate the mafic and intermediate lavas,and the JMVF is therefore derived largely, and perhaps entirely,from melting of fertile continental Jemez lineament lithosphereduring rift-related extension. Significant variations in Pband Nd isotope ratios (206Pb/204Pb = 17·20–18·93;143Nd/144Nd = 0·51244–0·51272) result fromcrustal contamination, whereas 87Sr/86Sr is low and relativelyuniform (0·7040–0·7048). We compare theeffects of contamination by low-87Sr/86Sr crust with assimilationof high-87Sr/86Sr granitoid by partial melting, with Sr retainedin a feldspathic residue. Both models satisfactorily reproducethe isotopic features of the rocks, but the lack of a measurableEu anomaly in most JMVF mafic lavas is difficult to reconcilewith a major role for residual plagioclase during petrogenesis.
