In order to develop and test the integration procedure, in this paper a real time process integration involving the optimization and control of the process is presented, in this case, with the two-layer approach. The used optimization algorithms were Levenberg–Marquardt and SQP that solve a non-linear least square problem subject to bounds on the variables. The two-layer approach is a hierarchical control structure where an optimization layer calculates the set points and manipulated variables to the advanced controller, which is based on the dynamic matrix control with constraints (QDMC). The non-isothermal dynamic model of the three-phase slurry catalytic reactor with appropriate solution procedure was utilized in this work (Vasco de Toledo, E. C., Santana, P. L., Maciel, M. R. W., & Maciel Filho, R. (2001). Dynamic modeling of a three-phase catalytic slurry reactor. Chemical Engineering Science, 56, 6055–6061). The model consists on mass and heat balance equations for the catalyst particles as well as for the bulk phases of gas and liquid. Electroless deposition has been used to prepare Cu–Pd/SiO2 bimetallic catalysts wherein initial Cu coverages are limited only to the pre-existing Pd surface. Cu loading on the Pd surface can be systematically varied by modification of deposition kinetic parameters. In this case deposition time was used as the kinetic variable for the preparation of a series of Cu–Pd catalysts. These materials have been characterized using atomic absorption, CO chemisorption, and FT-IR (adsorption of CO), and then evaluated for the hydrogenation of 3,4-epoxy-1-butene, a functionalized olefin having many potential reaction pathways. Catalyst performance and characterization results suggest that Cu is not distributed in a monodisperse manner on the Pd surface, indicating the existence of autocatalytic deposition of Cu on Cu sites. The FT-IR results suggest that although CO adsorption on all sites is suppressed by Cu addition, initial Cu deposition occurs more readily on certain sites. The bimetallic Cu–Pd sites that are formed exhibit unusually high activity for EpB conversion and formation of unsaturated alcohols and aldehydes. This bimetallic effect on catalyst activity and selectivity is best explained, not by the existence of either ligand or ensemble effects, but rather by the bifunctional nature of the Cu–Pd sites present on the surface of these catalysts. 相似文献

To reduce the fragility encountered in controller implementation, which is a measure of extent to describe small perturbations in controller parameters caused by rounding-off errors or component tolerances, and keep the system stability and performance, approaches of weighted eigenvalue sensitivity and stability radii comparison were used for computation and reduction of controller fragility. An algorithm has been derived for the efficient reduction of controller fragility, which used eigenstructure decomposition to obtain the suboptimal solution. The algorithm was tested for different control problems through reducing their fragility by a large margin. Different canonical forms were analyzed for fragility, including controllable canonical form, observable canonical form, modal canonical form, balanced realization and optimal (non-fragile) form. Different realizations were implemented through C language Matlab EXecutable (CMEX) S-function discrete state space block. Double precision calculations were performed. Open and closed loop controller realizations were compared with simulink state space (optimal) block. Results of comparison indicate that the optimal non-fragile controller realization shows better results both in open loop and closed loop realization. 相似文献

分析了天线跟踪指向控制系统的特点和影响系统跟踪性能的主要因素,建立了系统数学模型。根据系统特点,给出了小脑模型神经网络控制器(CMAC)和PID相结合的复合自适应控制方法的设计过程,并分析了该算法适用于天线跟踪指向控制系统的优势。该方法利用传统的PID控制,结合CMAC神经网络算法的快速自学习、精确逼近的优点,既满足了天线跟踪指向控制系统快速实时跟踪的要求,又提高了跟踪精度和跟踪平稳性。仿真结果表明,该方法对摩擦力矩有很好的抑制作用,跟踪精度较单独采用PID控制提高一个数量级,且输出稳定,具有较强的鲁棒性。 相似文献
