Di-, tri-, tetra-, penta- and hexasaccharides were formed during the hydrolysis of lactose by transgalactosylation reaction of Aspergillus oryzae β-galactosidase. In this study the isolation and characterization of the major constituents of tri-, tetra- and pentasaccharides are described. The structure elucidation of 3 tri-, 2 tetra- and 1 pentasaccharides was carried out by methylation analysis, mass spectrometry and 13C-nmr spectrometry. The trisaccharides are O-β-d-galactopyranosyl-(1 → 3)-O-β-d-galactopyranosyl-(1 → 4)-d-glucose(3′-galactosyl-lactose), O-β-d-galactopyranosyl-(1 → 6)-β-d-galactopyranosyl-(1 → 4)-d-glucose (6′-galactosyl-lactose) and O-β-d-galactopyranosyl-(1 → 4)-O-[β-d-galactopyranosyl-(1 → 6)]-d-glucose (4,6-digalactosyl-glucose). Tetrasaccharides are O-β-d-galactopyranosyl-(1 → 6)-O-β-d-galactopyranosyl-(1 → 6)-O-β-d-galactopyranosyl-(1 → 4)-d-glucose and O-β-d-galactopyranosyl-(1 → 6)-O-β-d-galactopyranosyl-(1 → 3) [or O-β-d-galactopyranosyl-(1 → 3)-O-β-d-galactopyranosyl-(1 → 6)]-O-β-d-galactopyranosyl-(1 → 4)-d-glucose. Pentasaccharide is O-β-d-galactopyranosyl-(1 → 6)-O-β-d-galactopyranosyl-(1 → 6)-O-β-d-galactopyranosyl-(1 → 6)-O-β-d-galactopyranosyl-(1 → 4)-d-glucose.  相似文献

Properties of theDX centers in Al0.5Ga0.5As bulk alloy (b-AL), (AlAs)2 (GaSa)2 ordered superlattice (o-SL) and (AlAs) m (GaAs) n disordered superlattice (d-SL) (m = 1, 2, 3,n = 1, 2, 3) with the same macroscopic composition were measured and compared. By deconvolution of deep level transient spectroscopy (DLTS) spectrum due to theDX center, we have found a decrease in the number of separate peaks in DLTS spectrum in an intentionally atomic ordered arrangement. In order to clarify the fragmentation mechanism of a metallic alloy (U–Pu–Zr) fuel on liquid phase formed by metallurgical reactions (liquefaction temperature = 650 °C), which is important in evaluating the sequence of core disruptive accidents for metallic fuel fast reactors, a series of experiments was carried out using molten aluminum (melting point = 660 °C) and sodium mainly under the condition that the boiling of sodium does not occur. When the instantaneous contact interface temperature (Ti) between molten aluminum drop and sodium is lower than the boiling point of sodium (Tc,bp), the molten aluminum drop can be fragmented and the mass median diameter (Dm) of aluminum fragments becomes small with increasing Ti. When Ti is roughly equivalent to or higher than Tc,bp, the fragmentation of aluminum drop is promoted by thermal interaction caused by the boiling of sodium on the surface of the drop. Furthermore, even under the condition that the boiling of sodium does not occur and the solid crust is formed on the surface of the drop, it is confirmed from an analytical evaluation that the thermal fragmentation of molten aluminum drop with solid crust has a potential to be caused by the transient pressurization within the melt confined by the crust. These results indicate the possibility that the metallic alloy fuel on liquid phase formed by the metallurgical reactions can be fragmented without occurring the boiling of sodium on the surface of the melt.  相似文献

In a fetal autopsy series, we have explored the occurrence of renal tubular dysgenesis in twins. Renal tubular dysgenesis was found exclusively among those monozygotic twins with evidence of twin transfusion syndrome, particularly in those donor twins with oligohydramnios and growth restriction. We infer that hypotension in the donor twin of the twin transfusion syndrome pair is responsible for the failure of proximal convoluted tubule differentiation, and the disturbance of renal function is manifested as oligohydramnios prenatally, and either oliguria or tubular dysfunction postnatally.  相似文献

BACKGROUND/PURPOSE: To develop practical and less invasive techniques for fetal endoscopic surgery, new methods of lifting the uterine wall to allow fetal surgery without maternal laparotomy were developed and assessed. METHODS: Fetal endoscopic surgical procedures, including tracheostomy and umbilical vascular cannulation, were performed using one of the three methods to enter the uterus without maternal laparotomy in pregnant goats (n = 6; 105 to 115 days' gestation): (1) direct uterine lifting with an air-cushion device; (2) indirect uterine lifting, in which the uterine wall was fixed to the maternal abdominal wall using balloon tip ports inserted percutaneously by Seldinger's method, then the maternal abdomen was lifted mechanically; and (3) combined method, in which low pressure CO2 (5 mm Hg for initial inflation and 2 mm Hg for maintenance) was insufflated into the uterus in addition to the indirect uterine lifting cited above. RESULTS: The direct uterine lifting caused massive injury of myometrium and uterine membranes. The creation of intrauterine space and the protection of the membranes were not accomplished effectively by the indirect uterine lifting only. The combined method provided the adequate intrauterine space and excellent endoscopic visibility for completion of the endoscopic procedures with minimal uterine injury. CONCLUSION: The fetal endoscopic surgery may be accomplished simply and safely by the combined method, a novel technique of uterine lifting to allow fetal surgery without maternal laparotomy.  相似文献

PURPOSE: To determine possible cognitive and behavioral effects of antiepileptic drug (AED) therapy by assessing children with newly diagnosed epilepsy before and after initiation of treatment. A comparison group of children with diabetes mellitus (DM) was included to control for the effects of practice, maturation, and chronic illness. METHODS: Baseline neuropsychological assessments were completed for children with epilepsy (n = 37) and children with DM (n = 26) recruited through outpatient clinics at a regional children's hospital. Children were reevaluated 6 months from baseline testing. At follow-up, children with epilepsy had therapeutic AED levels and controlled seizures. Statistical analysis included a between-group repeated measures ANCOVA with pretest scores serving as the covariate. RESULTS: Significant differences between groups were not found for any cognitive or behavioral factors, including attention (p < 0.24), immediate memory (p < 0.24), delayed memory (p < 0.10), complex motor speed (p < 0.19), or behavior problems (p < 0.89). CONCLUSIONS: Changes in performance on cognitive and behavioral measures were not different for children treated with AEDs and controls. Although adverse effects may be associated with prolonged treatment, results would not suggest adverse effects from AED monotherapy during the first 6 months of therapy.  相似文献

SiC was infiltrated into a porous carbon or an SiC particulate preform from a gaseous system of 6% CH3SiCl3-H2 using a pulse chemical vapour infiltration apparatus and r.f. heating at 1273 to 1423 K. At 1273 K, the SiC matrix infiltrated the porous carbon initially to half the thickness of the substrate and finally over the full thickness. After 10000 pulses, three-point flexural strength saturated at about 120MPa. SiC particulate preform made from an average particle size of 4m was infiltrated by SiC. After 30000 pulses at 1273 K, the flexural strength of the composite increased to 200 to 220 M Pa.  相似文献

In railroad turnouts, geometries of tongue and crossing rails are very complex and their shapes are changing along the track. Therefore, wheels are subjected to not only tread and flange contacts, but also the back-of-flange and top-of-flange contacts in the case of spring switches of tram vehicles. For this reason, one needs to deal with significant jumps in contact points for solving wheel/rail contact problems in turnout, and an accurate prediction of jumps in contact points is one of the most important issues that need to be carefully handled in the dynamic simulation of vehicle/turnout interactions. In this investigation, a numerical procedure that can be used for solving such a complex wheel/rail contact problem in turnout is proposed. In particular, a combined nodal and non-conformal contact approach is developed such that significant jumps in contact points are detected using the nodal search, while the exact location of contact point is then determined with continuous surface parameterizations using non-conformal contact equations. With this combined nodal and non-conformal contact approach for the contact geometry analysis of vehicle/turnout interactions, multiple look-up contact tables can be generated in an efficient way without losing accuracy. Since detailed contact search is performed off-line to obtain look-up contact tables, significant changes in contact points in turnout can be efficiently predicted on-line with tabular data to be interpolated in a standard way. Several numerical examples are presented in order to demonstrate the use of the numerical procedure developed in this investigation.  相似文献

Novel air purification materials were fabricated by the application of a magnetic field. In a magnetic field perpendicular to a copper plate, nickel particles with a diameter of 10 m were arranged to form numerous pillar-like structures on the matrix surface, and copper as a binder was deposited onto the three-dimensional surface. The total surface area of the pillars and the matrix increased with the magnetic flux density, up to about 800 cm2 per cm2 of the original matrix surface at 6.2 T. After successful codeposition of TiO2 particles on the fabricated materials by electroplating, their photocatalytic activities were evaluated on the basis of the removal efficiency of nitrogen oxides (NO x ), which are some of the most hazardous air pollutants. It was concluded that the samples with the pillar-like structures had two opposite characteristics: large surface area as a positive effect and shadowing against ultraviolet (UV) irradiation as a negative effect. However, total photocatalytic activity increased to twice as much as that of the flat sample by improving the UV irradiation method and the preparation condition of the materials  相似文献
