Gradient vector flow (GVF) is an external force of snake that overcomes traditional snake's problems: limited capture range and poor convergence to concave boundaries. A facile method has been developed for the synthesis of core–shell nanostructure poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) grafted on silica nanoparticles (SiO2 NPs) by using the combination of ARGET ATRP and thiol-ene click chemistry. The covalent attachment of the thermo-responsive polymer was achieved by taking advantage of the fast, robust, and high efficient thiol-ene click reaction as demonstrated by FT-IR and XPS. The ARGET ATRP provides the good conversion of the monomer in a well-controlled manner as indicated by the narrow value of PDI (1.21). The grafting amount of the polymer on SiO2 NPs was found to be ca. 18 % as determined by TGA technique. TEM images of the encapsulated SiO2 NPs suggested that the SiO2 NPs core was covered by the soft polymer layer. Interestingly, dynamic light scattering analysis revealed that the as-synthesized nanocomposites exhibited the thermo-responsive behavior with the transition temperature around 31–33 °C.  相似文献

The conductivity of poly(3,4-ethylene dioxythiophene):poly(styrene sulfonate) was improved by pressing the PEDOT:PSS thin film using roll to plate system. PEDOT:PSS thin film was deposited on polyethylene terephthalate using electrohydrodynamics atomization technique. The physico-chemical properties of the pressed thin film at different loads were compared with an un-pressed sample. The electrical properties show that the film conductivity has been increased by four times. An optimized pressing load was found to have good conductivity and transmittance of the thin film. A hybrid device (PEDOT:PSS/F8BT/ZnO/Ag) was fabricated using layer by layer method with PEDOT:PSS as anode. The IV characterization showed that the device with pressed PEDOT:PSS showed higher current densities. The results give a promising future of PEDOT:PSS in electronics device applications using printed electronics techniques.  相似文献

The review will describe experiments inspired by the rich variety of bundles and networks of interacting microtubules (MT), neurofilaments, and filamentous-actin in neurons where the nature of the interactions, structures, and structure-function correlations remain poorly understood. We describe how three-dimensional (3D) MT bundles and 2D MT bundles may assemble, in cell free systems in the presence of counter-ions, revealing structures not predicted by polyelectrolyte theories. Interestingly, experiments reveal that the neuronal protein tau, an abundant MT-associated-protein in axons, modulates the MT diameter providing insight for the control of geometric parameters in bio- nanotechnology. In another set of experiments we describe lipid-protein-nanotubes, and lipid nano-tubes and rods, resulting from membrane shape evolution processes involving protein templates and curvature stabilizing lipids. Similar membrane shape changes, occurring in cells for the purpose of specific functions, are induced by interactions between membranes and proteins. The biological materials systems described have applications in bio-nanotechnology.  相似文献
