Summary Three new monomers for cyclopolymerization were synthesized using phase transfer catalysis of ethyl -(chloromethyl) acrylate (ECMA), t-butyl -(bromomethyl) acrylate (TBBMA) and isobornyl -(bromomethyl)acrylate (IBBMA) with cinnamic acid sodium salt. Bulk and solution polymerization at 70–80°C using AIBN gave soluble cyclopolymers with Mn=13650 and Mw=36540 for the ethyl ester, Mn=47700 and Mw=86900 for the t-butyl ester and Mn=3500 and Mw=4650 for the isobornyl ester monomer. The ester polymerizabilities decreased with increasing substituent bulkiness. FTIR spectra showed ca 30 to 93% cyclic units depending on the concentration of the monomer used in polymerizations. DSC thermograms showed that alkyl group size had little effect on Tg's, with values of 151°C, 156°C, and 164°C for the ethyl, t-butyl and isobornyl esters, respectively. 相似文献

Understanding patterns of variation from raw measurement data remains a central goal of shape analysis. Such an understanding reveals which elements are repeated, or how elements can be derived as structured variations from a common base element. We investigate this problem in the context of 3D acquisitions of buildings. Utilizing a set of template models, we discover geometric similarities across a set of building elements. Each template is equipped with a deformation model that defines variations of a base geometry. Central to our algorithm is a simultaneous template matching and deformation analysis that detects patterns across building elements by extracting similarities in the deformation modes of their matching templates. We demonstrate that such an analysis can successfully detect structured variations even for noisy and incomplete data. 相似文献

Two new hydroxyl-containing di(meth)acrylate monomers were synthesized from the reaction of methyl α-chloromethylacrylate (MCMA) and of ethyl α-chloromethylacrylate (ECMA) with glycerol. The monomers were obtained as mixtures of two isomers in different ratios and in combination with the analogous trimethacrylate monomers. Each monomer was isolated by column chromatography. The photopolymerization of these isomer mixtures and the trimethacrylate monomers was investigated individually by photodifferential scanning calorimetry (photoDSC) at room temperature using 2,2′-dimethoxy-2-phenyl-acetophenone (DMPA) as a photoinitiator. The effect of hydrogen bonding on the rates of polymerizations and conversions was examined. The results obtained for the synthesized monomers were compared to the values obtained for commercial monomers. It was observed that the hydroxyl-containing dimethacrylates polymerize much faster and to considerably higher conversion than the trimethacrylate monomers. The maximum rates of polymerization of the hydroxyl-containing monomers were higher than that of the hexanediol dimethacrylate (HDDMA), comparable to glycerol dimethacrylate and lower than hexanediol diacrylate (HDDA) and 3-(acryloyloxy)-2-hydroxypropyl methacrylate (AHM). 相似文献

This study presents a Wavelet based Neuro-Detector approach employed to detect the aging indications of an electric motor. Analysis of the aging indications, which can be seen in the low frequency region, is performed using vibration signals. More specifically, two vibration signals are observed for healthy and faulty (aged) cases which are measured from the same electric motor. Multi Resolution Wavelet Analysis (MRWA) is applied in order to obtain low and high frequency bands of the vibration signals. Thus for detecting the aging properties in the spectra, the Power Spectral Density (PSD) of the subband for the healthy case is used to train an Auto Associative Neural Network (AANN). The PSD amplitudes, which are computed for the faulty case, are applied to input nodes of the trained network for the re-calling process of AANN. Consequently, the simulation results show that some spectral properties defined in low frequency region are determined through the error response of AANN. Hence, some specific frequencies of the bearing damage related to the aging process are detected and identified. 相似文献

Street foods are becoming more and more prominent in countries all over the world. There are many reports of disease due to consumption of street foods contaminated by pathogens. With the modern trend toward more natural preservatives, the use of organic acids can achieve a good microbiological safety in food. In the present study, stuffed mussels were inoculated with Salmonella Typhimurium suspension to provide initial populations of approximately 6 and 3 log CFU/g. After inoculation, samples were treated with fresh lemon juice and lemon dressing for 0, 5, and 15 min, and pathogens were enumerated by using direct plating on brilliant green agar. Treatment of stuffed mussels inoculated at high inoculum level, with lemon juice and lemon dressing for different exposure times caused reduction ranging between 0.25 and 0.56 log CFU/g and 0.5 and 0.69 log CFU/g, respectively, whereas in stuffed-mussel samples inoculated at low level, lemon juice and lemon dressing caused 0.08 to 0.25 log CFU/g and 0.22 to 0.78 log CFU/g reductions, respectively. Results of the study showed that both lemon juice and lemon dressing used as flavoring and acidifying agents for stuffed mussels caused slight decrease in Salmonella Typhimurium as an immediate inhibitor, but this effect increased by time. However, treatment of stuffed mussels with the inhibitors until 15 min is not enough to prevent Salmonella Typhimurium outbreaks related to stuffed mussels. 相似文献

Thin hard coatings provide the much needed protection for steel thixoforming tools that must resist wear at high temperatures.
The wear resistance of AlTiN- and AlTiON-coated hot work tool steel was investigated at 1023 K (750 °C), measured to be the
cavity surface temperature shortly after the steel slurry was forced into the thixoforming die. The wear tests were repeated
in exactly the same fashion with uncoated tool steel samples to identify the impact of AlTiN and AlTiON coatings on the high-temperature
wear performance of X32CrMoV33 tool steel. The nature, the thickness, and the adherence of the oxide scales impact the tribological
behavior. The poor adherence and limited ductility of ferrous oxides promote the failure of the oxide scale impairing the
resistance to wear of the hot work tool steel at elevated temperatures. The substantial softening in the X32CrMoV33 hot work
tool steel is also critical in the wear volume loss it suffers. AlTiN and AlTiON coatings, on the other hand, form a stable
and protective oxide surface layer at high temperatures and therefore provide an enhanced resistance to oxidation. The latter
is relatively more resistant to oxidation and is thus the better of the two coatings tested in the present work. 相似文献

Effects of oat flour addition (10, 20, 30, and 40%) on the quality characteristics of noodle were investigated. Noodles were
evaluated in terms of cooking quality, color, chemical, and sensory properties. As oat flour level increased, protein, crude
fat, ash, Mn, Fe, Zn, and Mg contents of noodles increased. Oat flour caused increases in cooking loss of noodles. Sensory
and cooking characteristics of noodles were negatively effected when oat flour level was increased compared with the control.
Noodle with 10% oat flour received the highest sensory scores in all noodle samples containing oat flour. Overall acceptability
scores of control and in only the noodle with 10% oat flour were found statistically (p<0.05) similar. Especially, the usage of 10% oat flour in noodle formulation gave satisfactory results in terms of acceptability. 相似文献

Mixed (CuO)x(ZnO)1 − x composite films have been prepared on glass substrates by a sol-gel spin coating method using copper acetate hydrate and zinc acetate dihydrate as precursors. The surface morphology and crystal structure of the films were investigated by field emission scanning electron microscopy and x-ray diffraction, respectively. It was observed that the crystal structure changed from wurtzite (ZnO) to monoclinic (CuO) as the Cu content increased from 0% to 100% in the films. UV-Vis absorption and photoluminescence measurements indicated that the optical properties can be tuned continuously from pure ZnO to pure CuO as the Cu content was increased, following the expected trends for a transition from ZnO to CuO. The resistivity of the films decreased by three orders of magnitude as Cu increased from 0% to 100%. These semiconducting composite oxides with tunable optical and electrical properties have potential applications in electronics and optoelectronics. 相似文献

In this study an approximate method based on the continuum approach and transfer matrix method for static and dynamic analyses of multi‐bay coupled shear walls is presented. The whole structure is idealized as a sandwich beam in this method. Initially the differential equation of this equivalent sandwich beam is written, then shape functions for each storey can be obtained by the solution of differential equations. By using boundary conditions and storey transfer matrices which are obtained by these shape functions, system modes and periods can be calculated. Reliability of the study is shown with a few examples. A computer program has been developed in MATLAB and numerical samples have been solved for demonstration of the reliability of this method.
