Polyphosphonates, polyphosphates, polyarylazophosphonates and polyarylazophosphates were synthesized by a new alternative to the classical phase transfer catalysis, respectively, the modified inverse phase transfer catalysis (IPTC) polycondensation of various phenylphosphonic (phosphoric) dichlorides (phenylphosphonic dichloride, phenylphosphoric dichloride, p-chlorophenylphosphoric dichloride) with bisphenols: bisphenol A, tetrabromobisphenol A, bis-(4-hydroxyphenyl)methane (bisphenol F), 4,4′-dihydroxyazobenzene. The polymers were characterized by infrared spectroscopy and magnetic resonance (1H-NMR, 31P-NMR, 13C-NMR) spectroscopy. Yields in the range of 63.5–85% and molecular weights (M w) of ~2,000–8,200 g mol?1 were obtained. Polyphosphonates were stable up 210–270 °C and polyphosphates up 190–220 °C in air atmosphere. For a correct estimation of the thermal behavior of similar compounds, a kinetic analysis using a modified version of Non Parametric Kinetic method for representative polyphosphonate and polyphosphate was realized. The studies made on the hydrolytic degradation of the synthesized polyphosphates show that the most stable polymer under alkali-catalyzed degradation is the polyphosphate obtained by IPTC of phenylphosphoric dichloride and bisphenol A.  相似文献

In this work, several near‐lossless compression methods for spectral images have been analyzed and compared. These methods are based both on the principal component analysis (PCA) and on the choice of a minimum number of spectral points, selected following different criteria. The analysis, initially carried out on 14 National Physical Laboratory tiles of certified colour, has been extended to some spectral images of paintings taken at the National Gallery of Parma (Italy). The comparison of the results with those obtained by applying the PCA analysis shows that the best method indicated as “method of a few significant points” allows reducing the spectral image size of a factor of 10 without loss of spectral and colour information. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A method for preparing organic–inorganic hybrids containing organophosphorus compounds, silica, and polyaniline (PANI) was developed using sol–gel technique. This method allows the in situ synthesis of organic–inorganic hybrids by reacting tetraethoxysilane (TEOS), aniline, initiator, organophosphorus compound in formic acid. The formic acid has multiple functions: as solvent and acidic media for polymerization of aniline and reagent for sol–gel process. The use of an organophosphorus compound as coupling agent and the introduction of a conductive polymer in silica matrix was investigated.  相似文献

The paper presents a new lossless ECG compression scheme. The short-term predictor and the coder use conditioning on a small number of contexts. The long-term prediction is based on an algorithm for R-R interval estimation. Several QRS detection algorithms are investigated to select a low complexity and reliable detection algorithm. The coding of prediction residuals uses primarily the Golomb-Rice (GR) codes, but, to improve the coding results, escape codes GR-ESC are used in some contexts for a limited number of samples. Experimental results indicate the good overall performance of the lossless ECG compression algorithms (reducing the storage needs from 12 to about 3-4 bits per sample). The scheme consistently outperforms other waveform or general purpose coding algorithms.  相似文献

The paper presents a dielectrophoretic chip, fully enclosed, with bulk silicon electrodes fabricated using wafer-to-wafer bonding techniques and packaged at the wafer level. The silicon electrodes, which are bonded to two glass dies, define in the same time the walls of the microfluidic channel. The device is fabricated from a silicon wafer that is bonded (at wafer level) anodically and using SU8 photoresist between two glass wafers. The first glass die includes drilled holes for inlet/outlet connections while the second glass die assure the electrical connections, through via holes and a metallization layer, between the silicon electrodes and a printing circuit board.  相似文献

This paper reports the highest etch depth of annealed Pyrex glass achieved by wet etching in highly concentrated HF solution, using a low stress chromium–gold with assistance of photoresist as masking layer. The strategies to achieve that are: increasing the etch rate of glass and simultaneously increasing the resistance of Cr/Au mask in the etchant. By annealing the Pyrex glass and using a highly concentrated HF acid, a high etch rate can be obtained. Furthermore, a method to achieve a good resistance of the Cr/Au masking layer in the etching solution is to control the residual stress and to increase the thickness of Au deposition up to 1 μm. In addition, the presence of a hard baked photoresist can improve the etching performance. As a result, a 500-μm thick Pyrex glass wafer was etched through.

This article illustrates a microwave dielectric lens design using genetic programming (GP), which, to the best knowledge of the authors, is the first time GP has been applied to design a microwave dielectric lens. A phase‐compensating single layer lens and a quarter‐wave phase‐compensating multilayer dielectric lens, which uses four types of materials and a zoned structure, was designed using GP. The dielectric lens shape was designed using GP strategy, with a random initial shape, to compensate for the phase error of the multilayer dielectric lens and to achieve the required performance. Standard GP (SGP) and hierarchical fair competition genetic programming (HFC‐GP) was applied to obtain the solution. The results show that this novel method of microwave lens shape design using GP is both accurate and stable. Microfabricated systems provide an excellent platform for the culture of cells, and are an extremely useful tool for the investigation of cellular responses to various stimuli. Advantages offered over traditional methods include cost-effectiveness, controllability, low volume, high resolution, and sensitivity. Both biocompatible and bio-incompatible materials have been developed for use in these applications. Biocompatible materials such as PMMA or PLGA can be used directly for cell culture. However, for bio-incompatible materials such as silicon or PDMS, additional steps need to be taken to render these materials more suitable for cell adhesion and maintenance. This review describes multiple surface modification strategies to improve the biocompatibility of MEMS materials. Basic concepts of cell-biomaterial interactions, such as protein adsorption and cell adhesion are covered. Finally, the applications of these MEMS materials in Tissue Engineering are presented.  相似文献

This article reports on the wood shrinkage during drying in relationship with the temperature and moisture content. All tests were performed perpendicular to the grain on small clear wood specimens of green Western hemlock while drying at 40, 60, and 80°C to 17, 11, and 5% final moisture contents. Overall, wood dimensional changes and moisture loss phenomena were successfully analyzed and interpolated. The shrinkage strain followed a nonlinear pattern with the moisture loss being the driving force and exhibited good correlation with the square value of moisture content in tangential, and linear moisture values could be used to describe shrinkage in radial direction. Both shrinkage intersection points and end of capillary water values increased with temperature; the distinction between the two values could not be made at all times. A nonlinear function containing two regression coefficients (α and β) was found to be a good interpolation of the moisture loss experimental data. Further analyses revealed that β is independent of both target moisture content and temperature, whereas α appears to be influenced by both variables. The correlation between shrinkage and moisture loss rate is intended to be used as a stress prediction tool.  相似文献
