A size-dependent computational approach for bending, free vibration and buckling analyses of isotropic and sandwich functionally graded (FG) microplates is in this study presented. We consider both shear deformation and small scale effects through the generalized higher order shear deformation theory and modified couple stress theory (MCST). The present model only retains a single material length scale parameter for capturing properly size effects. A rule of mixture is used to model material properties varying through the thickness of plates. The principle of virtual work is used to derive the discrete system equations which are approximated by moving Kriging interpolation (MKI) meshfree method. Numerical examples consider the inclusions of geometrical parameters, volume fraction, boundary conditions and material length scale parameter. Reliability and effectiveness of the present method are confirmed through numerical results. 相似文献

The role of shock-flame interactions on flame acceleration in an obstacle laden channel 总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
Flame acceleration was investigated in an obstructed, square-cross-section channel. Flame acceleration was promoted by an array of top and bottom surface mounted obstacles that were distributed along the entire channel length at an equal spacing corresponding to one channel height. This work is based on a previous investigation of the effects of blockage ratio on the early stage of flame acceleration. This study is focused on the later stage of flame acceleration when compression waves, and eventually a shock wave, form ahead of the flame. The objective of the study is to investigate the effect of obstacle blockage on the rate of flame acceleration and on the final quasi-steady flame-tip velocity. Schlieren photography was used to track the development of the shock-flame complex. It was determined that the interaction between the flame front and the reflected shock waves produced from contact of the lead shock wave with the channel top, channel bottom, and obstacle surfaces govern the late stage of flame acceleration process. The shock-flame interactions produce oscillations in the flame-tip velocity similar to that observed in the early stage of flame acceleration, but only much larger in magnitude. Eventually the flame achieves a globally quasi-steady velocity. For the lowest blockage obstacles, the velocity approaches the speed of sound of the combustion products. The final quasi-steady flame velocity was lower in tests with the higher obstacle blockage. In the quasi-steady propagation regime with the lowest blockage obstacles, burning pockets of gas extended only a few obstacles back from the flame-tip, whereas burning pockets were observed further back in tests with the higher obstacle blockage. 相似文献

The parallel oxorhenium-mediated assembly of 288 noncyclic RGD analogues is reported. All complexes contain a NS(2) +S chelating motif that enables the unambiguous coordination of the oxorhenium and oxotechnetium cores. In this study, "modules S" contain a variety of pending guanidinium groups whereas the "NS(2) modules" are made of a series of N-acylated amino acids. Combination of sets of "NS(2) " and "S modules" together with tetrabutylammonium tetrachlorooxorhenate gave the corresponding oxorhenium complexes in good yields and satisfactory purities. Evaluation of these metalloconstructs towards integrins α(V) β(3) , α(IIb) β(3) , and α(V) β(5) led to the identification of micromolar and submicromolar antagonists of theses integrins. These compounds exhibit interesting selectivities and promise attractive applications for the molecular imaging of integrin-dependent pathologies. 相似文献

In this paper, an approach to performance analysis on signal-to-interference ratio operating over Rayleigh fading channels experiencing an arbitrary number of multiple, Rayleigh co-channel interferers is presented. We have presented a general analysis of selection combining, where each branch experiences an arbitrary number of multiple equal power co-channel interference. Useful closed-form expressions are derived for the probability density function and cumulative distribution function at the output of the combiner. Also, outage analysis is performed in order to show the effects of interferers and diversity order. Chrysanthemum flower is among one of the highly sought after and widely planted flower crops, in particular for cultural and religious ceremonies. However, the chrysanthemum stem and stalk have little value and usually discard as by‐product waste from floristry. The objective of this research is to investigate the potential value of utilizing chrysanthemum stem and stalk as reinforcing fillers for thermoplastic composites. In this study, 2‐mm thick composite sheet containing predefined formulations of polylactic acid (PLA), chrysanthemum waste filler (CWF) ranging from 15 to 60 phr, and maleated polyethylene (MAPE) coupling agent up to 5 phr were prepared with the aid of Haake internal mixer and compression molding. The effect of MAPE loading on tensile, thermal, and morphological properties of PLA/CWF composites was investigated. The findings revealed that PLA/CWF composite attained improved tensile modulus compared to the neat PLA, and the tensile modulus increases with higher concentration of CWF. However, both tensile strength and elongation at break reduces with increase loading of CWF. Overall, PLA/CWF composites with MAPE shows better performance compared to those without MAPE, where an optimum strength of 21.8 MPa can be achieved with 60 phr CW and 3 phr MAPE. The measured tensile strength is comparable to alternatives natural fiber thermoplastic composites demonstrating its potential to be used in non‐structurally demanding application. J. VINYL ADDIT. Molecular characterization of antibiotic-resistant salmonella isolates from retail meat from markets in northern Vietnam 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
A total of 118 Salmonella isolates were detected from 283 retail meat samples (135 pork and 148 chicken meat) purchased at retail markets in Northern Vietnam. Thirteen serovars, including Infantis, Anatum, Rissen, Reading, Emek, Typhimurium, Blockley, London, Newport, Derby, Weltevreden, Albany, and Hadar, were determined. Resistance to tetracycline (54.2%), sulfonamides (52.5%), streptomycin (41.5%), trimethoprim (36.4%), chloramphenicol (35.6%), and ampicillin (33.1%) was commonly seen in the Salmonella isolates. Fourteen [bla(TEM), bla(OXA-1), bla(PSE-1), aadA1, sul1, tetA, tetB, tetG, cmlA1, floR, dfrA1, dfrA12, aac(3)-IV, and aphA1-1AB ] of 17 resistance genes were detected from the isolates demonstrating resistance. Genes for plasmid-mediated quinolone resistance, such as qnrA, qnrB, qnrS, qepA, and acc(6')-1b-cr, were not detected in 23 quinoloneresistant isolates. The substitution TCC to TTC at codon 83 of gyrA was found in the 18 quinolone-resistant isolates. The data revealed that resistant Salmonella strains were widely distributed in Northern Vietnam via the food chain and that they might contain multiple genes specifying identical resistance phenotypes. Thus, further studies are necessary to clarify the mechanisms of antibiotic resistance in Salmonella strains and their spread in the livestock market. 相似文献

Video streaming is often carried out by congestion controlled transport protocols to preserve network sustainability. However, the success of the growth of such non-live video flows is linked to the user quality of experience. Thus, one possible solution is to deploy complex quality of service systems inside the core network. Another possibility would be to keep the end-to-end principle while making aware transport protocols of video quality rather than throughput. The objective of this article is to investigate the latter by proposing a novel transport mechanism which targets video quality fairness among video flows. Our proposal, called VIRAL for virtual rate-quality curve, allows congestion controlled transport protocols to provide fairness in terms of both throughput and video quality. VIRAL is compliant with any rate-based congestion control mechanisms that enable a smooth sending rate for multimedia applications. Implemented inside TFRC a TCP-friendly protocol, we show that VIRAL enables both intra-fairness between video flows in terms of video quality and inter-fairness in terms of throughput between TCP and video flows. 相似文献
