Determining the Errors of an Angle Digitizer Containing a Two-Phase Angle Sensor

A method is considered for determining the error of a tracking angle digitizer with two-phase angle sensor not requiring the use of high-precision angle-measuring devices or devices for exact definition of the angular velocities of those angle sensors. The method provides immediate, clear, and complete monitoring of the conversion errors in real time with simple equipment of analog type.     

Control system for choice of graphics editors for solving design problems

A graphics editor control system is developed for solving design problems based on methods for creation of nonredundant hierarchical quality characteristic systems and for choosing an optimal linguistic scale. The program Choice for making an automatic, reasonable choice of graphic editor is discussed.     

Rationalization of Sequential Monitoring of Reliability

A discussion is given of the problem of increasing the efficiency of monitoring the quality of industrial products for which the moments of occurrence of failures are distributed in accordance with a binomial law or a Weibull law with unknown scale parameters. A mathematical modeling method is used to perform a comparison of the properties of different criteria and a sequential criterion with parabolic boundaries of the acceptance and rejection zones is proposed which is most economic in a number of cases.     

Angle digitizers with initial conversion error correction
