A simplified approach to the streamline based coordinates for the solution of inviscid flows is considered. The fundamental shortcomings of some of the existing methods usually employed in the computations of turbomachinery flows are removed and correct general forms of the equations are derived. Several new formulations are also presented which for incompressible flows simplifies the solution of flow problem to simple algebraic equations. The current study was designed to investigate the protective role of diosmin against cyclophosphamide-induced premature ovarian insufficiency (POI). Female Swiss albino rats received a single intraperitoneal dose of cyclophosphamide (200 mg/kg) followed by 8 mg/kg/day for the next 15 consecutive days either alone or in combination with oral diosmin at 50 or 100 mg/kg. Histopathological examination of ovarian tissues, hormonal assays for follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), estradiol (E2), and anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH), assessment of the oxidative stress status, as well as measurement of the relative expression of miRNA-145 and its target genes [vascular endothelial growth factor B (VEGF-B) and regulator of cell cycle (RGC32)] were performed. Diosmin treatment ameliorated the levels of E2, AMH, and oxidative stress markers. Additionally, both low and high diosmin doses significantly reduced the histopathological alterations and nearly preserved the normal ovarian reserve. MiRNA-145 expression was upregulated after treatment with diosmin high dose. miRNA-145 target genes were over-expressed after both low and high diosmin administration. Based on our findings, diosmin has a dose-dependent protective effect against cyclophosphamide-induced ovarian toxicity in rats.  相似文献

Carbon fiber reinforced plastics have gained large interest among the community of composites manufactures and consumers due to their excellent adaptability to various industrial applications. In particular, there exists a demand for optimizing machining conditions of mechanical parts made from poly ether ether ketone reinforced with 30% of carbon fiber when using TiN coated cutting tools. In this work, predictive models that describe the relationship between the independent machining variables: cutting speed, feed rate and depth of cut, and the criteria of machinability: cutting force, cutting power and specific cutting pressure were derived. This was achieved by using either classical response surface regression technique or by implementing fuzzy logic models which are based on the compositional rule of inference that establish a parametric relation between a given response and the independent input variables. Effectiveness of these models has been proved by analyzing their coefficients of correlation and by comparing predictions they give with experimental results.  相似文献

Objective: The goal of this paper is to review and discuss methodological issues related to cumulative spinal loading exposure assessment methods. Background: Research has indicated that there likely is an association between integrated spinal loading and lower back pain. A number of studies have been conducted to evaluate cumulative load; however, comparisons between studies is difficult due to the use of different methods for the assessment of cumulative spinal loading. Methods: A comprehensive electronic search was conducted to locate articles dealing with methods of cumulative spinal loading estimation. The articles were evaluated with respect to methods for obtaining postural data, methods for estimating spinal loads, methods for integrating loads over time and spinal load parameters to be measured. Results: Thirteen articles were located. A summary of the methods used to estimate cumulative spinal load is described and evaluated. Conclusions: There is a pressing need for integrated spinal loading methods that are reliable, valid and practical for use in large occupational epidemiological studies. A number of research needs were outlined aimed at improving the ability to use cumulative load to predict risk of low back disorders due to manual material handling.  相似文献

The point reactor kinetics equations of multi-group of delayed neutrons in the presence Newtonian temperature feedback effects are a system of stiff nonlinear ordinary differential equations which have not any exact analytical solution. The efficient technique for this nonlinear system is based on changing this nonlinear system to a linear system by the predicted value of reactivity and solving this linear system using the fundamental matrix of the homogenous linear differential equations. The nonlinear point reactor kinetics equations are rewritten in the matrix form. The solution of this matrix form is introduced. This solution contains the exponential function of a variable coefficient matrix. This coefficient matrix contains the unknown variable, reactivity. The predicted values of reactivity in the explicit form are determined replacing the exponential function of the coefficient matrix by two kinds, Backward Euler and Crank Nicholson, of the rational approximations. The nonlinear point kinetics equations changed to a linear system of the homogenous differential equations. The fundamental matrix of this linear system is calculated using the eigenvalues and the corresponding eigenvectors of the coefficient matrix. Stability of the efficient technique is defined and discussed. The efficient technique is applied to the point kinetics equations of six-groups of delayed neutrons with step, ramp, sinusoidal and the temperature feedback reactivities. The results of these efficient techniques are compared with the traditional methods.  相似文献
