A series of new thiacrown ethers derived quinoline 79 were synthesized in good yield and in a simple way. Their transition metal ions complexation was studied using a conductometric method in acetonitrile at 25°C. Crowns 7 and 8 showed a continuous decrease in the molar conductances in their complexation with Ag+, Cu2+, Hg2+ and Zn2+ which begins to level off at a molar ratio of 1:1 crown to metal, indicating the formation of 1 stable 1:1 complex. On the other hand, crown 9 showed the formation of 1:1 complexes only with Ag+, Cu2+, Hg2+. The in vitro, a preliminary antimicrobial, antioxidant and cytotoxic effects on breast tumor cells were also reported. Five bacterial test strains were included in the present study. Antioxidant activity was measured in terms of the radical scavenging ability and decolorization of 1,1-Diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radicals. Cytotoxic effect of thiacrown was evaluated using MDA MB-231 cell line (human breast adenocarcinoma, ATCC HTB-26).  相似文献

In the current work, numerical simulations are achieved to study the properties and the characteristics of fluid flow and heat transfer of (Cu–water) nanofluid under the magnetohydrodynamic effects in a horizontal rectangular canal with an open trapezoidal enclosure and an elliptical obstacle. The cavity lower wall is grooved and represents the heat source while the obstacle represents a stationary cold wall. On the other hand, the rest of the walls are considered adiabatic. The governing equations for this investigation are formulated, nondimensionalized, and then solved by Galerkin finite element approach. The numerical findings were examined across a wide range of Richardson number (0.1 ≤ Ri ≤ 10), Reynolds number (1 ≤ Re ≤ 125), Hartmann number (0 ≤ Ha ≤ 100), and volume fraction of nanofluid (0 ≤ φ ≤ 0.05). The current study's findings demonstrate that the flow strength increases inversely as the Reynolds number rises, which pushes the isotherms down to the lower part of the trapezoidal cavity. The Nuavg rises as the Ri rise, the maximum Nuavg = 10.345 at Ri = 10, Re = 50, ϕ = 0.05, and Ha = 0; however, it reduces with increasing Hartmann number. Also, it increase by increasing ϕ, at Ri = 10, the Nuavg increased by 8.44% when the volume fraction of nanofluid increased from (ϕ = 0–0.05).  相似文献

Shrimp oil was encapsulated in nanoliposomes and fortified into skim milk. Shrimp oil nanoliposomes (SONL) were thermodynamically stable when added into skim milk at 10 mL 100 mL−1. Mild bitterness in fortified skim milk caused by the SONL was masked by adding β-glucan at various levels (0.05–0.2 g 100 mL−1). With the addition of SONL, fortified skim milk appeared more reddish in colour due to the presence of astaxanthin. Addition of β-glucan resulted in the increase in viscosity of the fortified milk by forming network of junction zones. During the storage of skim milk fortified with SONL and 0.1 g 100 mL−1 β-glucan at 4 °C for 15 days, no major quality changes took place. Simulated in vitro digestion studies revealed that 45.41 g 100 g−1 eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and 48.86 g 100 g−1 docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) from shrimp oil were bioaccessible for absorption in the gut after digestion.  相似文献

Numerous industrial and engineering systems, like, heat exchangers, chemical action reactors, geothermic systems, geological setups, and many others, involve convective heat transfer through a porous medium. The diffusion rate, drag force, and mechanical phenomenon are dealt with in the Darcy–Forchheimer model, and hence this model is vital to study the fluid flow and heat transport analysis. Therefore, numerical simulation of the Darcy–Forchheimer dynamics of a Casson material in a circular tube subjected to the energy losses due to the viscous heating and Joule dissipation mechanisms is performed. The novelty of the present investigation is to scrutinize the convective heat transport characteristics in a circular tube saturated with Darcy–Forchheimer porous matrix by utilizing the non-Newtonian Casson fluid. The flow occurs due to the elongation of the surface of a tube with a uniform heat-based source/sink. The similarity solution of the nonlinear problem was obtained using dimensionless similarity variables. The effects of operating parameters related to the flow phenomena are analyzed. Further, the friction factor and Nusselt number are also analyzed in detail. The present flow model ensures no flow reversal and acts as a coolant of the heated cylindrical surface; the existence of the magnetic field, as well as an inertial coefficient, acts as the momentum-breaking forces, whereas Casson fluidity builds it. The Joule heating phenomenon enhances the magnitude of temperature. The thermal field of the Casson fluid is higher at the surface of the circular pipe due to convective thermal conditions.  相似文献

The polynomial chaos Kalman filter (PCKF) has been gaining popularity as a computationally efficient and robust alternative to sampling methods in sequential data assimilation settings. The PCKF's sampling free scheme and attractive structure to represent non‐Gaussian uncertainties makes it a promising approach for data filtering techniques in nonlinear and non‐Gaussian frameworks. However, the accuracy of PCKF is dependent on the dimension and order of the polynomial chaos expansion used to represent all sources of uncertainty in the system. Thus, when independent sources of errors, like process noise and time independent sensors' errors are incorporated in the system, the curse of dimensionality hinders the efficiency and the applicability of PCKF. This study sheds light on this issue and presents a practical framework to maintain an acceptable accuracy of PCKF without scarifying the computational efficiency of the filter. The robustness and efficiency of the presented implementation is demonstrated on 3 typical numerical examples to illustrate its ability to achieve considerable accuracy at a low computational tax.  相似文献

Objective: The current investigation is focused on the formulation and in vivo evaluation of optimized solid self-nanoemulsifying drug delivery systems (S-SNEDDS) of amisulpride (AMS) for improving its oral dissolution and bioavailability.

Methods: Liquid SNEDDS (L-SNEDDS) composed of Capryol? 90 (oil), Cremophor® RH40 (surfactant), and Transcutol® HP (co-surfactant) were transformed to solid systems via physical adsorption onto magnesium aluminometasilicate (Neusilin US2). Micromeretic studies and solid-state characterization of formulated S-SNEDDS were carried out, followed by tableting, tablet evaluation, and pharmacokinetic studies in rabbits.

Results: Micromeretic properties and solid-state characterization proved satisfactory flow properties with AMS present in a completely amorphous state. Formulated self-nanoemulsifying tablets revealed significant improvement in AMS dissolution compared with either directly compressed or commercial AMS tablets. In vivo pharmacokinetic study in rabbits emphasized significant improvements in tmax, AUC(0–12), and AUC(0–∞) at p?<?.05 with 1.26-folds improvement in relative bioavailability from the optimized self-nanoemulsifying tablets compared with the commercial product.

Conclusions: S-SNEDDS can be a very useful approach for providing patient acceptable dosage forms with improved oral dissolution and biovailability.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a distributed adaptive learning algorithm to train the coefficients of a widely linear autoregressive moving average model by measurements collected by the nodes of a network. We assume that each node uses the augmented complex adaptive infinite impulse response (ACA-IIR) filter as the learning rule, and nodes interact with each other under an incremental mode of cooperation. To derive the proposed algorithm, called the incremental ACAIIR (IACA-IIR), we firstly formulate the distributed adaptive learning problem as an unconstrained minimization problem. Then, we apply stochastic gradient optimization argument to solve it and derive the proposed algorithm. We further find the step size range where the stability of the proposed algorithm is guaranteed. We also introduce a reduced-complexity version of the IACA-IIR algorithm. Since the proposed algorithm relies on the augmented complex statistics, it can be used to model both types of complex-valued signals (proper and improper signals). To evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm, we use both synthetic and real-world complex signals in our simulations. The results exhibit superior performance of the proposed algorithm over the non-cooperative ACA-IIR algorithm.  相似文献

The focus of this study is to investigate the behavior of plate girders with trapezoidally corrugated webs under fatigue loading. Six girders were tested under both monotonic and cyclic four-point loading arrangements. A relationship between the stress range, Fr, and the number of cycles to failure, N, was developed for the girders. The results from the fatigue tests were related to the current AASHTO specifications and compared with the test results of different types of girders carried out by others. Nonlinear finite element analyses were conducted to study the effects of the different geometrical parameters of this type of girders on the stress concentrations at different locations and to explain the findings of the experimental study. Two sources of stress concentration leading to fatigue cracking were isolated and evaluated; one is dependent on the radius of curvature between the web folds and the other depends on the inclination angle of the inclined fold. An analytical technique based on fracture mechanics is also proposed to enable designers to determine the fatigue life of corrugated web steel girders.  相似文献
