This article presents a new control strategy for the well-known problem of the planar vertical take-off and landing. The total thrust is computed using a nonlinear feedback compensation so that the altitude reaches the desired altitude. The horizontal position x is then controlled by choosing the orientation angle as a smooth saturation function of x and . A proof of convergence is presented using a Lyapunov approach. The proposed control strategy is successfully tested in numerical simulations.  相似文献

NiTi/Ti3SiC2 interpenetrating composites that combine two unique material systems—a shape memory alloy (SMA) and a MAX phase—demonstrating two different pseudoelastic mechanisms, were processed using spark plasma sintering. The goal of mixing these two material systems was to enhance the damping behavior and thermo-mechanical response of the composite by combining two pseudoelastic mechanisms, i.e., reversible stress-induced martensitic transformation in SMA and reversible incipient kink band formation in MAX phase. Equal volume fractions of equiatomic NiTi and Ti3SiC2 were used. Microstructural characterization was conducted using scanning electron microscopy to study the distribution of NiTi, Ti3SiC2, and remnant porosity in the composite. Thermo-mechanical testing in the form of thermal cycles under constant stress levels was performed in order to characterize shape memory behavior and thereby introducing residual stresses in the composites. Evolution of two-way shape memory effect was studied and related to the presence of residual stresses in the composites. Damping behavior, implying the energy dissipation per loading–unloading cycle under increasing compressive stresses, of pure NiTi, pure Ti3SiC2, as-sintered, and thermo-mechanically cycled (TC) NiTi/Ti3SiC2 composites, was investigated and compared to the literature data. In this study, the highest energy dissipation was observed for the TC composite followed by the as-sintered (AS) composite, pure NiTi, and pure Ti3SiC2 when compared at the same applied stress levels. Both the AS and TC composites showed higher damping up to 200 MPa stress than any of the metal—MAX phase composites reported in the literature to date. The ability to enhance the performance of the composite by controlling the thermo-mechanical loading paths was further discussed.  相似文献

Trypanosoma cruzi (T. cruzi) is a parasite that affects humans and other mammals. T. cruzi depends on glycolysis as a source of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) supply, and triosephosphate isomerase (TIM) plays a key role in this metabolic pathway. This enzyme is an attractive target for the design of new trypanocidal drugs. In this study, a ligand-based virtual screening (LBVS) from the ZINC15 database using benzimidazole as a scaffold was accomplished. Later, a molecular docking on the interface of T. cruzi TIM (TcTIM) was performed and the compounds were grouped by interaction profiles. Subsequently, a selection of compounds was made based on cost and availability for in vitro evaluation against blood trypomastigotes. Finally, the compounds were analyzed by molecular dynamics simulation, and physicochemical and pharmacokinetic properties were determined using SwissADME software. A total of 1604 molecules were obtained as potential TcTIM inhibitors. BP2 and BP5 showed trypanocidal activity with half-maximal lytic concentration (LC50) values of 155.86 and 226.30 µM, respectively. Molecular docking and molecular dynamics simulation analyzes showed a favorable docking score of BP5 compound on TcTIM. Additionally, BP5 showed a low docking score (−5.9 Kcal/mol) on human TIM compared to the control ligand (−7.2 Kcal/mol). Both compounds BP2 and BP5 showed good physicochemical and pharmacokinetic properties as new anti-T. cruzi agents.  相似文献

The morphology of the normal human and rat articular cartilage was assessed using transmission electron microscopy (TEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM), and two-photon excitation (2PE) microscopy. Spurr-embedded sections from fixed human cartilage were simultaneously evaluated using TEM and AFM. The presences of tracks among the chondrocytes from the superficial zone of the cartilage were observed. In order to ratify the presence of interconnecting tracks among superficial zone chondrocytes, whole fixed human and rat cartilage, as well as fresh whole rat cartilage, were examined under the 2PE. In all cases, these tracks were observed. In addition, porous matrix, well-defined lacunae, and cytoplasmic projections anchored to the extracellular matrix (ECM) were also detected. We conclude that normal human and rat flattened superficial chondrocytes might be interconnected by tracks running through the ECM. In addition, cytoplasmic projections were observed anchored to the ECM. All these structures may possibly be related to cell/cell and ECM/chondrocytes signaling. Our findings provide new information that possibly will be of relevant importance for a more profound study of normal cartilage physiology and eventually, the pathogenesis of osteoarthritis.  相似文献

A procedure for the experimental convergence evaluation of a hydraulic-network solver is proposed, based on using genetic algorithms to search for network parameter values that maximize the number of iterations of the hydraulic-network solver under test. The efficiency of the method is demonstrated by the example of convergence evaluation for the EPANET hydraulic simulator. Examples of a pipe network and of combinations of parameter values for which the static solver of the simulator fails to converge in a reasonable number of iterations are given. The features of the EPANET 2.00.12 solver responsible for loss of convergence are discussed. New criteria for the automatic start of solution damping aimed at improving the convergence of the solver are proposed. The better convergence of the EPANET solver modified in accordance with these criteria is confirmed by the random and the proposed search-based testing method.  相似文献

We consider the Euler–Bernoulli plate equation in a bounded open set Ω of with a degenerated local damping term. This dissipation is effective in a subset ω of Ω and the damping coefficient may vanish in some subset of dimension one of ω. We show that the usual observability inequality for the undamped problem implies polynomial decay estimates for the damped problem. The role of a batch rectification on the quality of tequila, a traditional Mexican beverage, was studied. It was shown that the official tequila standard composition, particularly the size of the slop cuts and the correct balance of flavour constituents, can be determined by monitoring the concentration of the regulated compounds (ethanol, methanol, higher alcohols, ethyl acetate, acetaldehyde and furfural) throughout the rectification process. It was found that these regulated compounds are produced over the same time scales when either stainless steel or copper alembics are used. When distillations were done in copper alembics, however, it was found that the copper content of the rectified product exceeded the amount permitted in the official tequila standards. Finally, we report a comparison of sensory properties of tequila distillates obtained in both copper and stainless steel alembics.  相似文献
